This study was performed to compare Surepath$^{TM}$ liquid-based smear and a conventional cervicovaginal smear with reference to a histological diagnosis. A hybrid capture test (HCII) was also performed and analyzed. We collected matched cases for cervicovaginal cytology-histology: 207 cases for conventional cytology (CC) and 199 cases for liquid-based cytology (LBC). HCII was performed in 254 patients. When a cytological diagnosis of ASCUS or above (ASCUS+) is classified as positive and a histological diagnosis of LSIL+ is classified as positive, the sensitivity and specificity for LBC was 91.7% and 75.9%, respectively and the sensitivity and specificity for CC was 62.6% and 96.1%, respectively. When a cytological and histological diagnosis of LSIL+ is classified as positive, the sensitivity and specificity for LBC was 77.5 and 96.6%, respectively and the sensitivity and specificity for CC was 49.7% and 100%, respectively. When a histological diagnosis of LSIL+ is classified as positive, the sensitivity and specificity for HCII was 78.9% and 78.1%, respectively. The concordance ratio between the cytological and histological diagnosis was 80.4% (kappa=76.0) for LBC and 56.5% (kappa=55.1) for CC. LBC is more sensitive and less specific then CC, as a cytological cutoff level of ASCUS, but more sensitive and equally specific, as a cytological cutoff level LSIL or HSIL. LBC is more reliable with a high concordance ratio between the cytological and histological diagnosis.

Long Term Average Spectrum을 이용한 성악가들의 Speaking Voice 분석

Background and Objectives : Many studies have described and analyzed singer's formant and it has been shown that the epilaryngeal tube in the human airway is responsible for vocal ring, or the singer's formant. A similar phenomenon produced by trained singers in their speech led some authors to examine the speaker's ring. This study was designed to analyze the speaking voice of the singers and speaker's ring. Baterials and Methods : Ten tenors, fifteen baritones, fifteen sopranos and ten mezzo sopranos attending the music college, department of vocal music were chosen for this study. Fifteen male and fifteen female untrained normal speakers were chosen for control group. Each subject was asked to produce a sample of a sustained spoken vowel /ah/ sound for at least five seconds and read sentence 'Kaeul'. The sound data was analyzed using the Fast Fourier Transform(FFT) - based power spectrum, Long term average(LTA) power spectrum using the FFT algorithm of the Computerized Speech Lab(CSL, Kay elemetrics, Model 4300B, USA). Statistical analysis was performed using the Mann-Whitney test of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences(SPSS). Results : For LTA Power spectrum of/ah/ sound, a significant increase was seen in the 2,500-3,500Hz region(p<0.01) in four trained singer group compared with untrained speaker group, and a significant increase in the 9,000-10,000Hz region(p<0.01) in soparano group. Similarly, in sentence 'Kaeul', there was a significant increase in energy in the tenor, baritone, mezzo soprano group compared with the untrained speaker group in the 2,500-3,500Hz region(p<0.01), and a significant increase in all frequency region(p<0.01) in the soprano group. Conclusions : The LTA power spectrum suggests that trained singers group show more energy concentration in the 'singer's formant' region in the speaking voice, and authors believe this region to be the 'speaker's ring'. Further research is needed on the effect of singing training on the resonance of the speaking voice.

Cervical pregnancy is a rare condition representing less than 1% of ectopic gestations in which the blastocyst implant within the cervical canal below the internal os of uterine cervix. Most cervical pregnancy result in early spontaneous abortion, complicated by severe hemorrhage from the eroded blood vessels within the cervix. Because of the fear of profuse hemorrhage, hysterectomy has been historically considered the standard therapy. However, a number of new therapies have been aimed at uterine preservation, conservative treatment is highly desirable for young women who want to preserve her fertility. Methotrexate has been utilized recently in the management of tubal, interstitial, and cervical pregnancies. We experienced three cases of successful treatment of cervical pregnancy by local injection of methotrexate into gestational sac under the guidance of vaginal sonogram after systemic methotrexate treatment, so we report the cases with a brief review of the literatures.

철도역 개발동향에 관한연구 : 일본사례를 중심으로

A railway station is a place where the railway operator concretize his marketing policy to meet the internal and external changes of a railway. Hence the analysis on the railway stations could give some useful information on the conditions which influence the shape of railway station. The purpose of this study is to analyze the development of Japanese railway stations. This study shows that the influencing factors on the shape of Japanese railway stations are as follows : invitation of investment from outside the japanese railway, necessity to define measures against the cut off the urban fabric by the railway facilities, profitability of the railway operator by the creation of subsidiary business, integration of administrative or public function into the station building. And the future of Japanese railway stations is now preparing by the policies on the accessibility and commodity of users and by the research projects on the environmental quality, user satisfaction.

프랑스 고속철도 승무원의 운영기준 분석

TGV의 개통효과 : 유동성 변화를 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to analyze the evolution of mobility after the commercial opening of french TGV through an examination on the precedent studies. The result of this study is as follows : Firstly, the TGV is competitive against the airplanes and automobiles within the 2 or 3 hours" service area, especially in the business trip markets. But in the recreational trips over this service area, 3 or 4 hours, the TGV remains as an important mode of transportation. Secondly, in a range within approximately 200 ㎞, 1 hour by TGV, the french high speed train is not competitive against the automobiles by the lack of flexibility and commodity which are normally providing by the automobiles. This study shows the importance of permanent monitoring system on the KTX travellers" behavior to strengthen the market share of KTX.

호텔정보시스템(HIS)진단에 관한 종단적 연구 -서울시내 특1급 호텔 14개를 중심으로-

The purpose of this study to examine variation and development in hotel information system by longitudinal(2001, 2004, and 2007) research. Furthermore, This suggested a guide line to hotel practioners and reseachers by building a theoretical frame about analyze, direction of improvement, variables from Nolan`s model, inverse proportion relationship between users` perception and control. This study, first, is to arrange the conceptual structure through literature review for Nolan`s growth stage model and understand status of Hotel Information System in five-star hotels in Seoul through every 3 years(2001, 2004, and 2007) with benchmark variable. Secondly, Among benchmark variable, There is no significant difference of information organization, planing & controling, and user`s perception about inverse proportion relationship. In addition, this study found a equality that if hotel had higher information organization, planing & controling, hotel had higher stage of information system. Thirdly, this study found the hotel that had high level of HIS in 2001 and 2004, still maintain stable condition. On contrast, the hotel that had low level of HIS in 2001 and 2004, also still keep up same condition. there is little bit of difference, but this study indicated that the hotel that changed their HIS or developed own HIS performed better than past. Lastly, level of main purpose and application in five-star hotels in Seoul was located in at least over 3rd stage of Nolan`s Growth stage Model as well as level of users. Some hotels spent huge amount of money for developing or changing HIS program to achieve effective hotel management.

철도물류 활성화를 위한 철도와 항만의 연계사례 연구

The Korean railroads" logistics are facing the important turning points by the connection of South and North Korean railroads, and the commercial opening of the High Speed Rail. These two factors demand several plans for the development of railroads" logistics, in which intermodal transportation with the others modes is wholly studied. In this respect the case of port of Hamburg, Germany, where railroads are completely integrated in the port, will permit the Koreans some useful lessons for the future of railroads" logistics.

한국 철도산업의 범위와 구조적 특성변화분석

철도정책 수립 시 산업통계가 기본적으로 요구되나 국내에는 철도산업을 종합적으로 포괄하는 통계체계가 아직 구축되어 있지 않다. 본 연구는 철도산업 통계체계구축 필요성 관련 논의를 확산시키기 위한 기초 연구로 우선 활용이 가능한 정부 승인통계 중 전국 사업체 조사, 광업·제조업 조사, 도·소매업조사, 운수업조사 결과를 분석하여 철도산업의 구조적 특성변화를 분석하였다. 결과를 요약하면, 철도산업은 2,187개의 기업에서 약 56천인을 고용하였다(08년). 철도장비 제조업은 년간 출하액이 3조296억원(09년)으로 국내 전체 제조업의 0.29% 수준이며, 철도관련 수송용 기계 및 장비 도매업의 매출액은 9,496억원(08년)으로 전체 도소매업의 0.15%, 철도운수업은 매출액 6조3537억원(09년) 으로 전체 5% 수준이다. 철도산업 내부에서는 철도운송업, 철도건설업, 철도차량제조업의 순으로 부가가치규모가 크고, 경제적인 위상이 높은 것으로 파악되었다. This article aims to develop discussions on the necessity of official statistics system for railroad industry which is indispensable in planning, every five years, the Railroad Industry Development Plan. To reach this goal, it was necessary to define the scope of railroad industry and extract railroad industry related figures from the surveys of the Korea National Statistics Office : census on establishments, mining & manufacturing, wholesale & retail, and transport. Railroad Industry employed 56 thousand workers in 2,187 establishments in 2008. Railroad equipments manufacturing occupied, in 2009, 0.29% of country‘s whole manufacturing by the market price. Sales of Railroad transport related machineries and equipments, in 2008, were 0.15% in the nation"s wholesale and retail takings. The share of Railroad transport sales were 5% in whole domestic transport sales. Within railroad industry, added value was important in the order of rail transport, rail construction and manufacturing of rolling stocks.
