This study analyzes the importance of introducing factors of Information Technology Outsourcing, suggested in prior study. Analytic Hierarchy Process is used for weighting or prioritizing factors at each level of the hierarchy. In the first layer, ITO introducing factors are divided into four categories; business and organization, technology, provider, and security and risk. In the second layer, twenty detailed factors are selected including competitiveness of Industry. The result shows that the understanding of business in provider category, meaning the provider’s understanding of business, is the most important factor followed by enhancing technology accessibility(0.072), uncertainty of information technology(0.066), restriction in autonomy(0.066), quality of service(0.061), interest of the CEO(0.059), reliability(0.058), importance of the technology(0.057), capability in IT(0.053), and the risk of cost hike(0.046) all in the same category. The total importance of these 10 most important factors is 0.624 which means 62.4% of the total importance. Therefore it is concluded that these10 factors should be thoroughly examined when an organization considers outsourcing it’s IT technology.
