        적응적인 웹 사이트 설계를 위한 퍼지인식도 시뮬레이션에 관한 연구

        As the main stream of electronic commerce changes from B2C to B2B, the importance of a strategic web site design is being recognized more than ever. In this sense, this study proposes a new approach to an adaptive design of the web site by using the stratified fuzzy cognitive map (FCM). Its main virtue lies in capability of changing specific components on the web site with its subsequent effects upon other components being objectively considered. By doing so, we can maintain total effectiveness of the website design. This advantage of the proposed approach can be compared with the traditional approach where the web site design has been changed without paying a due attention to the related components. We gathered 134 questionnaire responses. By analysing the questionnaire results, the causal weights of the FCM were computed objectively. Then the FCM was transformed into a stratified FCM by using Lee & Cho (1998)`s approach. On the basis of the stratified FCM and four scenarios, we performed web site design simulation. The simulation results showed that the proposed approach could be used effectively for analyzing the web site design in an adaptive manner when the market situation is changing.

        A Cognitive Map Approach to B2B Negotiation to Integrate Unstructured and Structured Negotiation Term

        As the advent of the Internet, B2B negotiation process on the Internet has been given attention from both researchers and practitioners. However, literature still shows that only structured conditions have been explicitly considered, despite the fact that unstructured conditions should be rendered as well. In this sense, this paper proposes a new negotiation support mechanism to incorporate causal relationships between structured and unstructured conditions in the process of B2B negotiation. Fuzzy cognitive map was used as a main source of causal knowledge as well causal inference engine. A prototype named CAKES-NEGO was developed to perform experiments with an illustrative example. Results revealed the robustness of our proposed negotiation support mechanism.

        6시그마 경영활동으로 인한 기업경쟁력 향상에 관한 실증연구

        Six sigma’s concept has long been used as an effective way of restructuring the management process of a firm. In literature regarding six sigma, a number of successful cases were reported, where six sigma-based management activities could enhance firm’s strategic performance dramatically for years. However, there exist very few researches investigating the effect of six sigma on corporate competitiveness. Especially, researchers as well as practitioners need more rigorous results about such issue-how much the six sigma strategic initiatives may have an influence on the firm’s competitiveness. In this sense, we need the empirical study adopting statistical approaches at this time of existence of abundant six sigma case studies. To fill this research void, this study proposes a research model testing whether six sigma-based management activities could improve corporate competitiveness. We collected 161 valid questionnaires from participants in six sigma activities, and applied structural equation model. Empirical results showed that six sigma activities could contribute to refreshing process management, quality improvement, and finally corporate competitiveness. We hope that this study would shed a light on the further rigorous studies considering six sigma as a major strategic activity.

        스마트폰의 지속적 사용에 관한 이해: 물류분야의 택배서비스업 사례

        The rapid changes in business environments are also applicable to the delivery service field. Numerous companies are using smart phones in order to perform work of the delivery service field that is rapidly developing every year. Smart phones established ubiquitous work environments where access to the server of the head office is possible through telephones, scanners, and the internet anywhere and anytime. However, although smart appliances including smart phones have been diffused, empirical analysis of use of them in actual has not been attempted much. In this regard, current study empirically analyzes how connectivity and context-awareness function of smart phones based on the TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) influence the continuous intention to use through trust, usefulness, and ease of use. The results indicate that the connectivity and context-awareness function, which are natures of smart phones, had impacts on the ease of use and trust, but not on the usefulness. Based on these results, this study suggests implications and future research directions regarding the planning and realization of smart appliances.

        지식경영 성과지표의 실증적 분석에 관한 연구

        This Paper is aimed at Proposing KMPI (Knowledge Management Performance Index) for evaluating the knowledge management performance of venture businesses. In the aftermath of the frenzy about using the Internet technology in management, knowledge management became a popular management technique because knowledge circulation Process (KCP) within an organization, which is believed to support work process Positively and contribute to creating corporate memory, can be facilitated much more smoothly and fast with the Internet technology being actively adopted as a main telecommunication vehicle. KMPI depends on the qualify of knowledge circulation Process which typically consists of five steps such as knowledge creation, knowledge accumulation, knowledge sharing, knowledge utilization, and knowledge internalization. Especially, venture business is known as active in its knowledge circulation process, However, literature about studying KMPI for evaluating knowledge management Performance of venture businesses does not exist. In this sense, we propose KMPI in a statistically sound way. questionnaire survey was conducted extensively among a lot of venture businesses listed in KOSDAQ. Statistical results were suggested Proving that the proposed KMPI has a significant relationship with typical financial performance measures.

        탐색 및 활용을 통한 컴퓨터 매개 커뮤니케이션의 팀 창의성에 관한 연구

        Among various types of creativity, team creativity has been always receiving attention from both practitioners and researchers because most of works are done in a team format in organizations. Therefore, it would be the best way for corporate performance to increase when team creativity is managed carefully to increase in a steadfast way. Though there are lots of ways to grow team creativity, this study explores the issue of increasing the team creativity by adopting CMC (computer-mediated communication) and exploration and exploitation, which were studied separately, but never analyzed together in the same research framework. Experiments to prove the validity of the research questions are based on ABM (Agent-Based Modeling) simulation. Netlogo language was adopted to build a prototype engine for the simulation engine. Experiment results revealed that in the short-term, both broad CMC mode with high exploration and exploitation, and local CMC mode with high exploration and exploitation result in higher team creativity than other types of combination. However, in the long run, broad CMC mode yields higher team creativity level than local CMC mode.

        차세대 지식경영시스템을 이용한 지식순환과정이 조직성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구

        Since its introduction as one of innovative strategies to improve corporate performance, KM (knowledge management) has worked very successfully in many kinds of industries and companies around the world. Especially, in the last decade, South Korean companies have adopted KMS very eagerly and applied it to eliminate many kinds of management inefficiencies and improve business performance. In recent couple of years, KMS evolved from a simple IS for helping workers reduce information search time to highly intelligent decision support system with which users can develop a new idea and come up with effective strategies to improve business performance dramatically. To add uniqueness to such advanced version of KMS, we call it as a next-generation KMS which differs from conventional KMSs in that the next-generation KMS is supposed to provide relevant decision support to workers and help them achieve significantly what they intend to do in their business activities. Recent web 2.0 technologies such as collective intelligence, wiki-style knowledge creation and sharing techniques, and participating knowledge activities provide a full support to the next-generation KMS. However, there exist very few studies to support the role of the next-generation KMS on improving corporate performance. To fulfill this research void, we apply a rigorous and empirical way by proposing a number of unexplored hypotheses. In this sense, this study proposes following research objectives.First, by performing a rigorous literature study, we induce that the next-generation KMS should fulfill its goal to provide a full support to the knowledge circulation process (KCP). Naturally, the first research purpose of this study is to test several hypotheses related to showing how each step of KCP is supported by the next-generation KMS. Herein, the KMS is assumed to consist of five steps such as knowledge creation, knowledge storage, knowledge sharing, knowledge utilization and knowledge learning. Second, this study intends to empirically analyze the impact of the next-generation KMS on corporate performance. As one of rigorous experiments, we built a number of research hypotheses to prove how much the next-generation KMS could contribute to the success of target companies. For this purpose, two professional KM consultants were recommended to review feasibility of a target KMS of H company to see whether it possesses the next-generation KMS properties this study requires. Feasibility test was to analyze whether the target KMS has the next-generation functionalities as required by literature. Results were clear- the target KMS has a number of functionalities to provide relevant support to workers. Empirical test process was performed like this. First, questionnaire items were prepared by using relevant literature. Final questionnaire was pre-tested whether it suits our research purpose. Among total 1,678 questionnaires distributed, 1,024 responses were collected which was about 61 % response rate. Researcg hypotheses were formed as a path analysis model, so SmartPLS 2.0 software was used to analyze and test the research model. Reliability test as well as feasibility test results were valid. Hypotheses tests were striking. all the KCP-related hypotheses were significantly supported, which indicates that target KMS is a truly next- generation KMS. Through the empirical tests, we came to conclude that a positive influence of the KCP on corporate performance was proven, and among the five KCP processes, only two processes such as knowledge utilization knowledge learning turned out to significantly influence the corporate performance.

        유비쿼터스 의사결정지원시스템의 접속성과 상황인식기능이 사용자 의사결정과정에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        정보기술의 급격한 발전은 경영환경에서 다양한 정보를 산출하여 의사결정자들이 의사결정을 효과적으로 지원할 수 있는 수단을 요구하고 있다. 특히 유비쿼터스 환경의 등장으로 이러한 의사결정형태는 더욱 복잡해지고 다양해 질 것으로 기대된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 의사결정지원시스템(UDSS:Ubiquitous Decision Support Systems)이 실제 업무에서 의사결정과정과 의사결정의 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실증적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 모바일 택배 시스템(MDS:Mobile Delivery System)을 UDSS로 간주하고 유비쿼터스 환경의 주요한 두 속성인 유비쿼터스 접속성과 상황인식기능이 의사결정자의 의사결정과정과 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실증자료를 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 유비쿼터스 접속성은 의사결정과정에서 대안설계에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였으나, 상황인식기능은 의사결정의 모든 과정에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 의사결정과정 간의 각 단계들은 상호 유의한 인과관계를 나타냈으며, 의사결정과정과 의사결정의 성과는 모두 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 UDSS의 설계 및 구현에 필요한 시사점 및 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다. This study is aimed at proposing a new approach to designing UDSS (Ubiquitous Decision Support System) which allows context-awareness and connectivity. In the previous studies, the need to design UDSS and analyze its performance empirically was raised. However, due to the complexity of empirical approaches, there is no study attempting to tackle this research issue so far. To fill this research void, this study proposes a Mobile Delivery System (MDS) as a form of UDSS, empirically analyzing how users perceive its context-awareness and connectivity functions. Especially, to add more rigor to the proposed approach to know how much it works well in the decision-making contexts, we considered three decision making phases (intelligence, design, choice) in the research model. With the valid questionnaires collected from 340 users of the MDS, we induced statistically proven results showing that both context-awareness and connectivity of the proposed UDSS (or MDS) influence the decision making steps positively and then contribute to improving the decision making quality.
