This paper is aimed at examining Fight Club (1996) by Chuck Palahniuk, having been largely regarded as fiction satirizing consumer capitalism, from the perspective of self-actualization and self-healing that could help create a new healthy personality by integrating the persona and the shadow. The anonymous narrator, a yuppie persona, represents the submissive ordinary man emasculated by late capitalism. He creates his opposite character.a violent anarchist Tyler Durden. unconsciously to realize the typical masculinity idealized by modern culture. The two characters organize a fighting club, and then build a violent program called “Mayhem Project” to destroy modern society built on the idea of consumerism. In the process of carrying out the project, the narrator recognizes the reality of masculinity distorted by culture. He makes a bold decision to get rid of Tyler, his shadow character. With this resoluteness, he evolves into a new character. He integrates the characteristics of Tyler with his own. This story revolves around a man who cannot trust himself because of distorted modern culture, he realizes the opposite value instead, finds out the defect of mass media-produced masculinity and gets rid of it to integrate his broken identities. He heals himself of this modern cultural illness and grows up to develop his new identity. (Sungkyunkwan University)

There are a couple of measurement standards in measuring the absorption coefficient of building materials. Impedance tube method and reverberation room method are those standardized absorption coefficient measurement methods. While applicable to the development stage of certain absorptive materials and the measurement of random incident absorption coefficient of multi layered absorption complex, they are unable to be applied to in-situ measurement. There are needs for the in-situ measurement for the assessment of the efficient of absorption materials and for the remodelling design of existing rooms. This research deals with an in-situ absorption coefficient measurement system which is based on the calculation of energy from impulse response of incident and reflected signal on the same axis

무인열차운행이 확대됨에 따라, 운행선로의 침입감시를 위한 선로감시시스템, 운행중인 열차내 보안 및 승객 안전을 위한 열차내 감시시스템의 필요성이 확대되고 있다. 전라도 일로역과 대불역 약 12km 구간에서는 무선기반 열차제어시스템의 성능평가를 위한 시험선과 시험차량이 운행 중에 있으며 이와 함께 선로변 및 차내 승객 안전을 위한 유무선 감시시스템이 개발 및 시험평가 중에 있다. 유선 감시시스템은 선로변 침입 및 선로유지보수자 감시를 위한 영상확보가 가능하도록 설계 및 제작되었고, 무선감시시스템의 경우, 지하철 무선영상전송용 전용주파수대역인 18GHz 무선시스템 및 상용무선시스템을 이용하여, 차-지상 영상정보전송이 가능하도록 구축되었다. 본 논문에서는 대불시험선에 구축된 유무선 감시시스템 개발 현황에 대하여 기술한다. As driverless train operation has been expanded, there is a growing need for onboard monitoring system for invasion into operational line, onboard security of operational train and passenger safety. Test lines and test rolling stocks are in operation about 12km between Illo and Daebul stations in Jeonlla-do in order to evaluate performance of wireless train control system and wire and wireless monitoring system is under development and test evaluation for trackside and onboard passenger safety. Wire monitoring system has been designed and produced in order to allow obtainment of images for monitoring trackside invasion and line maintenance workers. For wireless monitoring system, it is possible to transfer images between onboard and ground by using wireless system with 18GHz, the exclusive frequency band for wireless transmission of train images and commercial wireless system. This paper describes current development of wire and wireless monitoring system established on the Daebul test line.
플레어 각도에 따른 청수현상의 발생과정 및 갑판 위 유동특성 변화에 대한 실험적 연구

In this study, a series of experiments were performed to investigate the variations in the behavior of green water generation and the flow kinematics of bubbly flow on deck with various flare angles. The experiments were conducted in a 2-D wave flume using a simplified model of a BW Pioneer FPSO operating in the Gulf of Mexico, with a 100-year return period wave condition. The green water phenomena were captured with a high speed CCD camera. The variations in the behavior of the green water generation were investigated with various flare angles, and the horizontal mean velocity profiles of bubbly flow on deck obtained using bubble image velocimetry (BIV) were provided. The differences in flow kinematics of bubbly flow on deck were analyzed with various flare angles.
CaCO3 가 Bacillus subtilis 에 의한 청국장메주 발효에 미치는 영향

This study was carried out to investigate the effect of CaCO₃ on the Chungkook-jang Meju fermentation. B. subtilis was cultured on the Meju added 0, 0.01, 0.1, 1% CaCO₃, respectively, and the chemical composition, protease activity, amino acid and vitamin B complex were examined with fermentation time. The inner temperature of the CaCO₃ treatments during fermentation was increased as compared with the control group. Titratable acidity in Meju decreased as CaCO₃ cocentration increased. And protease activity and amino-nitrogen content were however high in same order. The content of amino acid was on the increase in every treatments, it made no difference between CaCO₃, treatments and the control. Vitamin B complex content in the CaCO₃ treatments was increased than in the control. The 0.01% added treatment showed the highest amount of vitamin B complex content in all the treatments.

To study the metabolism and absorption of endosulfan in carp, ^(14)C-α-endosulfan was treated with the LC_(10) concentration (4.5 ㎍/L). In an in vivo test, endosulfan was metabolized (65∼80%) in tissues and endosulfan ether, endosulfan alcohol, endosulfan a-hydroxyether, and endosulfan lactone were identified, indicating that those are the main metabolites of detoxification in carp. The maximum levels of ^(14)C-endosulfan in the head, muscle, and gut occurred after 8 hr exposure. However, the maxima reached in the liver and kidneys after 30 min and 4 hr, respectively. Radioactivity in the tissue decreased rapidly 8 hr after treatment. The total amount of ^(14)C-endosulfan recovered in the liver, kidneys and gut of fish was about 80∼90% during the 8 hr treatment. The non-extractable radioactivity increased after 8 hr exposure (27∼31%). Endosulfan sulfate, the main degradation product in plant and mouse, was not detected during the test interval from tissues of the carp.

Chitobiase from Aeromonas salmonicida YA7-625 was purified from culture broth through ammonium sulfate precipitation, chitin affinity adsorption, hydroxylapatite column chromatography and gel filtration, with 47.2% yield and 31.5 fold purity. The molecular weight of purified chitobiase was 15,000 daltons, and the chitobiase showes maximum activity at the condition of at 40℃ and pH 6.0. The effects of various metal ions and inhibitors show thatcystein, glutamic acid, serine, tryptophan, and tyrosine residues seem to be cencerned in chitobiase activity.
