This study aims to analyze the potential and practical influences of physiognomic correction makeup that may change personal impression on faces, especially general physiognomy including eyebrow, cheek bones, lips. To meet this goal, this study looked into various literature materials on the basic concept and principles of physiognomy. With a series of photos showing 3 steps of makeup, i.e. a face before makeup, a face after general self-makeup and a face after makeup modified in physiognomic manner, a questionnaire survey was applied to the subjects. The results of survey can be outlined as follows It was found that physiognomic correction makeup could change various disadvantageous impressions into positive direction, impression of persons with thin eye brow looking like those with neither brightness nor deserving of any help from others, impression of persons with high cheek bones looking like the strong and masculine, impression of persons with small lips looking like the narrow-minded. Furthermore, physiognomic makeup changed positively changing the impression of persons with round chin looking like the ordinary than before.
철도차량 네트워크규격(IEC 61375 2-8) 합치성 검증도구 개발 및 검증

Recently, as a requirement for high-speed and high-speed data communication for railway vehicles,100Mbps class Ethernet TCN (Train Communication Network) standards (IEC 61375-1, IEC 61375-2-5, IEC 61375-3-4, IEC 61375-2-3, IEC 61375-2-4, IEC 61375-2-8) have been amended. Ethernet trains are already in operation overseas,and electric trains using Ethernet TCN will be operated in Korea from 2020. International standards are beingstrengthened for mutual operation of railway vehicles both domestically and internationally. In the TCN field, manufacturerssuch as Bombardier, Siemens, etc., have established a conformance test bench for IEC61375 (MVB) and issuetheir own certificates on conformity with standards. So far, in Korea, TCN-MVB, WTB, etc. have been applied accordingto international standards. However, there is no validation procedure for network conformance. Compliance withinternational standards is not mandatory, but verification of conformance to standards for rail vehicle networks must beperformed when operators consider inter-vehicle interoperability on the same lines of operation. In Korea, it is necessaryto verify conformity with international standards in order to secure technical competitiveness of railway vehicles andelectric devices. In this paper, for verification of conformance to Ethernet TCN, IEC 61375 2-8 is analyzed, and a verificationtool for requirement verification and an electric network device with Ethernet network technology are appliedto the TRDP (Train Realtime Data Protocol) library. The results of the verification are described.

Headway is defined as the time it takes for the front-end of the trailing train to pass the point where the frontend of the preceding train has passed. It is calculated as the ratio of the operating speed to the sum of the braking distance, travel distance during system reaction time until braking is executed, and the margin distance to the operation safety factor. Among these values, the braking distance is a major factor affecting the headway, and is affected by operating conditions such as rain and snow, and maintenance condition of the braking system and rails. That is, degradation of the braking system due to adhesion between the track and the wheels, air resistance, etc., can affect the train headway. In this paper, the train braking distance based on EBCL(Emergency Brake Confidence Level) of the system safety requirements is calculated using the ETCS brake model that uses the probability distribution of the main factors affecting the braking performance.

본 논문에서는 Multi-code CDMA(code division multiple access) 시스템에서 발생하는 높은 PAPR(Peak to average power ratio)을 저감하고, 신호가 HPA에서 비선형 왜곡을 감소시키기 위한 방법으로, SLM(Selected Mapping) 및 PTS(Partial Transmit Sequence) 기법과 함께 전치왜곡 기법의 혼합 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법에서 SLM 및 PTS 방법을 위해 사용된 위상 회전 정보는 별도의 채널을 통해 전송되고, 이러한 위상 회전 정보의 채널 통과에 따른 에러율은 시스템의 성능에 큰 영향을 미친다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 위상 회전 정보의 에러율을 고려한 이론적인 BER 수식을 제시하며, 이는 시뮬레이션을 통해 나타난 시스템의 BER 성능과 거의 같게 나타난다. 결국 PTS 및 SLM 방법을 전치왜곡기와 병행한 제안된 혼합 기법은 신호의 PAPR을 줄이고, HPA의 비선형 특성을 보상함으로써 시스템의 BER 성능을 향상시킨다. In this paper, we propose the hybrid methods of SLM(selected mapping) and predistortion, and PTS(partial transmit sequence) and predistortion to reduce PAPR(peak to average power ratio) and to decrease the nonlinear distortion of the nonlinear HPA(high power amplifier) in the multi-code CDMA(code division multiple access) system. The phase rotation factors are transmitted as side information in PTS and SLM methods play an important role in the BER performance. So, we present the theoretical BER equation when the errors of side information are considered in the multi-code CDMA communication system. Simulation results show that PAPR is reduced and nonlinear distortion is compensated by hybrid methods. Therefore BER performance is enhanced.

The present study was carried out to investigate the effect of BHA and CCl_4 on total and electrophoretically fractionated serum protein contents, several enzyme activities, lipid peroxidation and lipid accumulation of liver and kidney in male rats. 1) Hepatic lipid peroxidation and serum alanine aminotransferase activity were significantly increased by CCl_4 administration as compared with normal group. but pretreatment of BHA reduced those increment caused by CCl_4 administration. 2) Activities of hepatic monoamine oxidase and glutathione S-transferase were significantly decreased by CCl_4 administration as compared with normal group but pretreatment of BAH prevent those decrement caused by CCl_4 administration. 3) Administration of CCl_4 resulted in a decrement in total serum protein and α-globulin contents. but pretreatment of BHA prevent the decrement of those contents. However, there was no effect on albumin, β-globulin and γ-globulin contents by CCl_4 or BHA administration. 4) Total lipid, total cholesterol and triglycerides of liver were significantly increased by CCl_4 administration. but pretreatment of BHA reduced those increment caused by CCl_4 administration. 5) There was no effect in renal lipid peroxidation and lipid accumulation by CCl_4 or BHA administration. These results suggest that BHA exert a chemoprotective effect against Carbon tetrachloride toxicity in male rats by a mechanism that appears to involve it's antioxidant property, just like scavenger of genotoxic free radicals, and increase the rates of glutathione conjugation and detoxification of eletrophilic compounds produced by the matabolism of carbon tetrachloride.
