김영효,은예,이경숙,Kim, Young-Hyo,Eun, Ye,Lee, Kyung-Sook The Korean Society of Systematic Zoology 2005 Korean Journal of Systematic Zoology Special Issue Vol.5 No.-
The amphipods collected from 18 localities of Jindo Island, Korea during the period June to July in 2004 turned out to be 35 species in 18 genera of 12 families. Among them, Photis longicaudata(Bate and Westwood) is recorded newly to Korean fauna.
New Record of Two Species of Ampelisca (Crustacea: Amphipoda: Ampeliscidae) from Korea
김영효,은예,이경숙 한국동물분류학회 2011 Animal Systematics, Evolution and Diversity Vol.27 No.1
Two species of gammaridean amphipod are newly recorded from the shallow Korean waters; Ampelisca alatopedunculata Ren and A. miharaensis Nagata. These are described and figured in detail. A key to the Korean Ampelisca species is provided.

The terrestrial leeches from the peripheral island of the Korean Peninsula were identified as Haemadipsa rjukjuana Oka, 1910. The arhynchobdellid family Haemadipsidae and H. rjukjuana are newly added into the Korean leech fauna. This species is blood-feeding leech that attacks birds and medium or large sized mammals primarily, including human. The sequence of mitochondrial cytochrome c subunit I (COI), and the additional biology for this species are presented. This is the first study of terrestrial blood-feeding leeches in Korea.

This is the second catalog listing unrecorded invertebrates discovered during the research project ‘Discovery of Korean Indigenous Species’. The data to compile the catalog were primarily gathered from the final reports of the project, between 2013 and 2021. We present 38 previously undocumented species, belonging to four phyla (Platyhelminthes, Annelida, Rotifera and Arthropoda). Samples were collected from intertidal coastal waters, soil, freshwater ponds, reservoirs and hosts in South Korea. In this study, we provide brief taxonomic information, including collection site (GPS), diagnosis, specimen vouchers, figures of representative individuals and the Korean name newly assigned, for each species. All data were reviewed and updated by experts working on the respective taxonomic group. The aim of the present study is to publish species that have been previously reported through the project. Upon publication, these species will be added to the ‘National Species List of Korea’, curated by the National Institute of Biological Resources (NIBR).
