This study was executed to develop the Korean Developmental Inventory assessing developmental state of preschoolers. Items are made up six domains of child development: cognitive, language, society-emotion, self-help, gross motor, fine motor. Subjects were 1,204 children(male 614, female 590) who has been attended to a kindergarten or a day care center. For demonstrating the reliabilities of the inventory, the internal consistency of the items was investigated to Cronbach`s α. The reliability coefficients for the subtests were all reached above .80 by age groups. Standard Error of Measurement(SEM) for the subtests of the inventory is approximately less than the score point 4. Also the test-retest correlation coefficients were reached above .92 in parent rater and .90 in teacher raters and were all statistically significant(p<.01). Also a confirmatory item analysis was done for determining the validities. The median coefficients for each subtest were all ranged above .67 and were all statistically significant(p<.01). The intercorrelations among its subtests were above .97 and were all statistically significant(p<.001). In addition, the web-based computer assessment system was developed on the base of the results. Therefore, the inventory and computer system can be scientifically and effectively used for assessment of preschooler`s developmental level and developmental delay in the various settings and internet on-line service.
국내,외 아스퍼거 장애 관련 연구 동향 분석: 1997 ~ 2007년 문헌을 중심으로

The purpose of this study was to synthesize research trends of the Asperger disorder. For this, 101 studies that were published with important journal articles or studies in special education and related areas from 1997 to 2007 in Korea and in Abroad were reviewed. A total of 101 articles or studies were analyzed in term of research subjects, intervention program, topics and methods. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, the research subjects and participants most referred infants and preschoolers were less included than adults. Second, the most used intervention program was theory of mind and interviews. Third, the research topic areas most referred were Belief term development, Visual illusions and Social attribution task. Fourth, the research methods most referred case studies were less included than experimental studies. In one of the few studies of Asperger disorder. Future study trends would be discussed about that based on the result, descriptive research analysis about the intervention program in education for Asperger disorder.

Subjects were 136 young children(male 70, female 66) who have been committed to a day care center.For demonstrating the reliabilities of the scale, the internal consistency of the items was investigated to Cronbach's α and the Standard Error of Measurement(SEM). The reliability coefficients for the subtests were reached above .97 by age group. The SEM for the subtests of this inventory is approximately less than the score point 5. Also the test-retest correlation coefficients were reached above .94 in parent raters and above .91 in teacher raters and were all statistically significant(p<.001).Also a confirmatory item analysis was done for determining the validities. The median coefficients for each subtest were .785 in receptive and .795 in expressive, and were all statistically significant(p<.01). Also, the intercorrelation among its subtest was statistically significant(p<.001).

This study are to find out which effects on stereotypic behaviors of children with autism can be caused by the application of differential reinforcement of incompatible behavior and response cost technique and whether changed behaviors can be continued to be maintained at the time of these behavior modification technique stopped. This research was made by the selection of 3 children who were judged to be autism as a result of direct observation and by CARS(Childhood Autism Rating Scale) and NARS(Noel-Autism Behavior Scale) among the fourth grade of the elementary department in the special school. The period for this research was for 10 weeks and consisted of total 30 sessions from three times every week(for 25 minutes each time). The process of data utilized the design of multiple baseline across subjects for frequency of target behaviors(stereotypic behaviors) of children. The results of this study were as follows. First, the application of differential reinforcement of incompatible behavior and response cost technique reduces stereotypic behaviors of children with autism effectively. Second, the behaviors changed by their modifications continued to be maintained when the application of different reinforcement incompatible behavior and response cost technique comes to a halt.
