        This study aims at an influence of industrial characteristics of on urban hierarchy in Korea by the year 1981, 1991, and 2000. For the research process, this paper has depended on discriminant analysis with analizing variables of competition and spesialization. Urban the above analizing, this paper has got some results that retail, manufactureing and business sectors has negatively influenced change of urban hierarchies in Korea of 1981, 1991 and 2000 respectively. On the other hand, personal service, forestry, agriculture sectors has positively influenced change of urban hierarchies in Korea of 1981, 1991 and 2000 respectively.

        Pusan has taken charge of central role for the national economic development in terms of urban geopolitical condition. However spatial sturdiness of the existing urban structure by the excessive urban growth of Pusan makes hard such the role. In order to overcome it, Municiple Authority has thought to establish the status of Pusan through western Pusan development. And the Authority has given an order some development projects. But we need to consider that western Pusan is developed each other with devided into serveral districts by those projects, will be desirable. Accordingly this paper has analysed the development projects under the idea like that. And then, the paper has regarded what development for western Pusan should be executed by the spatial context of the entire western region, as a basic precondition. Therein, this study has suggested policy planning to accomplish it.

      • 환경보전적 부산도시개발방향

        Urban competitive power is closely related to induction of high-tech manpower and Pusan is not exception. High-tech manpower tends to prefer to environmental amenity greatly. Thus, this study has tried to grope for a method of sustainable urban development to raise competitive power for Pusan. To be accomplished it, first, environmental goal should be high level goal of Pusan Urban Comprehensive Plan. Second, urban spatial structure should be devided into two spatial units, one is an external functional space, the other is an internal functional space. Third, Pusan should execute special zoning such as detailed plan and incentive zoning. Finally, municipal government has to convert housing supply policy to demand one.

      • 지구단위계획구역의 공동주택 개발 유형 비교 : 만덕지구를 중심

        The District Unit Planning(DUP) system, which was introduced in the revised Urban Planning Law in 2000, is a policy instrument for specific planning in a special area in urban setting. The main purpose of this study is to find better DUP in Man-duk in Busan. Through comparing two plans ; One is planned low buildings in Man-duk, the other is planned high buildings in the same; in Man-duk. To compare these plans, the study suggested to consider the several criteria and landscape-simulations. By comparing two DUP in Man-duk, the second plan was better for residents than the frist. DUP system is concerned with improving the urban spatial quality, but we have recognised that DUP system has some problems. There are many various types in urban area which is needed DUP system. Finally, based on this study, urban areas need the flexible application of DUP for each type and is considered the correlations of area-specific and goal-specific features. 현행 지구 단위계획의 목적은 용도지역제의 의 문제점과 한계 를 극복하고 당해 지역 토지의 효율적 이용과 주민의 안정된 주거환경 도모는 물론 인접지역과 조화를 창출하자는데 있다. 지역이 지구단위계획에 의해서 개발되면, 토지의 입체적 이용, 지구 내 기능의 적정 배분, 도시설계 상 융통성 부여, 그리고 지구 간 조화의 도모 등에 있어 무리와 경직성이 최소화 될 수 있다. 이로부터 토지의 효율적 이용에 의한 난개발 방지, 경관보전, 그리고 지역전체의 안정된 공간구성의 극 대효과를 얻을 수 있다. 최근 들어 많은 지역에서 지구단위계획의 수립이 요구되고 있으며 그 대상과 범위는 상이하다. 그러나 지구단위계획의 운용실태를 살펴보면 차별적 계획목표의 부재와 천편 일률적인 계획요소의 적용으로 많은 문제점 이 나타나고 있다- 따라서 본 연구는 하나의 연구 사례대상 지역을 선정하고 이 지역에 어떤 형태의 주거단지가 개발되는 것이 지역 전체의 조화를 창출할 것인지 를 파악코자 한다. 또한 주어진 대상지의 내적 조건상 어떤 유형의 개발이 효율적 토지이용의 최선인가 를 밝히고자 한다. 이 과정상 바람직한 지구 단위계획의 방향도 모색될 것이다.

      • 釜山經濟의 刷新을 위한 産業構造의 改編方向

        The rate of Pusan's economy has decreased since 1980. In order to Cope with this phenomena, this paper has depended on the L. Q. Index and the shift-share analysis to analyse the entire industry. As a result, it has been indicated that manufactacturing and transportation, warehousing and Communication have greatly influenced Pusan's economy. Among manufacturing, priority for development is code No. 32, 35, 38, 31 and 33. And also the fisheries processing industry which is one of residentiary industries has to be included within the major strategic industry. On tertiary industry, it has been thought that it is important for an innovation of Pusan's economy to develop the harbor facility, to locate a teleport, and to settle down ISBN, teletex and videotex. All these type of industries pointed out above have to be manipulated along with a reorganization of the urban spatial structure.

      • 釜山市 및 그 背後地域都市들의 地域經濟成長의 比較硏究

        Our country has been confronted with a new problem so called interregional difference while we have been erecting rapid economic growth in order to solve the difference with more advanced countries. Our government has made an atempt the policy conversion from efficiency to equity since the middle part of 1970s regarding solution of inter-regional difference as a real development. This paper has been studied with a Location Quotient Index and Shift-Share Analysis to understand changes of regional growth pattern through-1 change of industrial structure and economic base between the city of Pusan and its hinterland cities from above mentioned policy conversion. As a result, we can see the followings. (1) Cities that future growth is expected are Samcheonpo, Chinhae, Jinju and Chungmu. (2) Pusan is decreasing in the rate of growth. This phenomena is with the context that large cities in our country are experiencing Polarization Reversal to their hinterlands. (3) The growth pattern of Kyung-Nam including the city of Pusan is changing toward the coast and in-land along with the axis of sphere of the western part.

      • 釜山市 都市發展을 위한 空間戰略 : 都市政策의 批判的 考察과 새로운 次元의 開發戰略을 中心

        First of all, It is discovered that Pusan Comprechensive Plan has the following problems. ① It is controlled greatly by a higher plan. ② Its planning objectives are too general and poor. ③ Conflicts are disclosed among functional plannings or the plan is not development - leading, because it has prepared without policy planning. ④ The plan does not get over the rationality of Japanese Imperialism. Above described problems can not help occurring naturally because comprehensive plan does not have policy planning. Thus, this paper put the subject matter of policy planning into a solution of spatial pressure and congestion reorganizing urban sturuture by colonial legacy. Re-creation of spatial structure means utilization for present harbor into a real space not depending on reclamation in order to construct the entire city to organic space after regarded management of metropolis as a periodic mission receiving urbanization as a given reality.

      • 釜山市 都心및 副都心地域의 空間構造 比較分析

        I have Studied spatial differences, similarities and characteristics between CBD and sub-CBD by depending on L.Q. Index method for each function, because the city of Pusan is the place where the growth of sub-CBD is clear as indistinct as discrimination between CBD and sub-CBD. Some conclusions that could be provided after I analysed spatial patterns of CBD and sub-CBD are that Seo-Myun is required for inducement of development that can support and respond incessant entering of new establishment in near future and it gets faced with stage that gets ready for future growth in the capacity of sub-CBD, and that Nam-Po is needed for improvement of new dimension for present space pressure.
