Zerovalent Iron 및 Manganese Oxide에 의한 살균제 Chlorothalonil의 탈염소화

This study is conducted to determine the potential of zerovalent iron (ZVI), pyrolusite and birnessite to remediate water contaminated with chlorothalonil. The degradation rate of chlorothalonil by treatment of ZVI, pyrolusite and birnessite was much higher in low condition of pH. Mixing an aqueous solution of chlorothalonil with 1.0% (w/v) ZVI, pyrolusite and birnessite resulted in 4.7, 13.46 and 21.38 hours degradation half-life of chlorothalonil, respectively. Dechlorination number of chlorothalonil by treatment of ZVI, pyrolusite and birnessite exhibited 2.85, 1.12 and 1.09, respectively. Degradation products of chlorothalonil by teartrnent of pyrolusite and birnessite were confirmed as trichloro-1,3-dicyanobenzene and dichloro-l,3-dicyanobenzene which were dechlorinated one and two chlorine atoms from parent chlorothalonil by GC-mass. Degradation products of chlorothalonil by ZVI were identified not only as those by pyrolusite and birnessite but as further reduced chloro-1,3-dicyanobenzene and chlorocyanobenzene.
저분자화된 Polydeoxynucleotide (PDRN)의 흰쥐에 대한 외과적 창상 치유 효과

This study was performed to investigate the wound healing effect of skin regeneration cosmetics utilizing low molecular weight Polydeoxynucleotide (PDRN). High purity PDRN was prepared from salmon testes poly-deoxyribonucleotide through protein and toxin removal process and molecular weight reduction. In order to evaluate the wound healing effect of PDRN in SD rats, 4 sites of dorsal skin of each animal were excised by using biopsy punch and 500 μL of test solution was topically applied once daily for 4 weeks. The tissue changes were observed for every week during the application periods. After applying the PDRN to the wound, the skin was cut flower and contraction of the wounds more quickly, and the coating of PDRN in the wound area was reduced significantly as compared to the positive control group Fucidin<sup>Ⓡ</sup> applied. The microscopic observation of stained tissue showed that a positive control was most rapid in re-epithelialization ability followed by the PH group, PDRN group, HA group. In addition, transforming growth factor (TGF-β) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), such as in the growth factor was similar to the results of staining of tissue lesions. In conclusion, it is determined that the low molecular weight PDRN has the therapeutic effect to the wound, and could be used as a functional material of cosmetics and medical industries.

This study focuses on mechanical property enhancement and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) reduction characteristic of environmentally-friendly waterborne coatings. We synthesized a series of organic-inorganic hybrid waterborne polyurethanes by using poly(tetramethylene glycol) 2000, polycarbonate diol 2000, isophorone diisocyanate, dimethylolpropionic acid and titanium dioxide. The study on the effects of the R ratio([NCO]/[OH]) and inorganic contents on environmentally-friendly waterborne coatings showed that the R ratio with more than 1.5 is appropriate due to arrangement of hardsegments. The applied TiO2 on films reduced volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

The wafer carrier is made of PP, PC, PE resin which have excellent heat and chemical resistance and electrical properties. However, particle generation has become a problem due to static electricity generated in the carrier. Some conductive material such as carbon black (CB) and carbon fiber (CF) are added for the purpose of anti-static, however, additional for motility and particle contamination problems due to high carbon content occurs. In this paper, the electrical characteristics and workability are observed and compared by adding low Carbon Nono Tube(CNT) to each PP, PC and PE resin to solve the problem.

Chaff-vinegar is known for having a variety of useful purposes in the fields of health and lifestyles. In a previous study we isolated and identified the active fractions of the polyphenol com-pound 7 species as a potential biomaterial for cosmeceuticals. To further test for its potential use as a functional material, we carried out an MTT assay, collagenase inhibition assay, elastase inhibition assay, tyrosinase inhibition assay, DPPH free radical scavenging assay, SOD-like activity assay and a xanthine oxidase inhibition assay. Chaff-vinegar exhibited potent collagenase and elastase inhibitory activities in a concentration dependent manner, indicating that the agent has the potential to alleviate the skin wrinkling process. Chaff-vinegar also showed80% tyrosinase inhibition at a concentration of 100μL/mL. DPPH radical scavenging, xanthine oxidase inhibition, and SOD-like activity results for each activity were 80%, 80%, and 100%, respectively. Taken together, the present study suggests that chaff-vinegar is a good candidate for use as an anti-wrinkling and/or whitening agent.

Objectives: The present study was designed to investigate effects of mixed extract from korean medicinal herbs (MIX) on oxidation/reduction reaction-related and aging-related enzyme in vitro. Methods: We performed MTT assay, collagenase inhibition assay, elastase inhibition assay, tyrosinase inhibition assay, DPPH free radical scavenging assay, SOD-like activity and xanthine oxidase inhibition assay. Results: Recently, many studies have reported that elastin is also involved in inhibiting or repairing wrinkle formation, although collagen is a major factor in the skin wrinkle formation. The MIX showed 97% inhibition of collagenase activity, and 64% inhibition of elastase activity at 1 mg/ml concentration of MIX, next only to positive control, which indicate good efficacy for anti-wrinkle ingredient. Also it`s treatment showed 34% inhibition of tyrosinase activity, to relate whitening effect, at the same dose of MIX. Antioxidant activities were determined by DPPH radical scavenging, xanthine oxidase (XO) inhibiting activity and SOD-like activity. Also these scavenging, XO-inhibiting and SOD-like activities were measured in 91%, 80%, and 63% inhibition, respectively, at a treated dose of 1 mg/ml, compare to control. Conclusions: These results suggest that possibility of mixed korean medicinal herbs as a functional ingredient for anti-wrinkle and whitening, anti-oxidation and anti-aging cosmetic formula.
쌍화탕 추출물이 항산화효소 및 항노화관련 효소 활성에 미치는 영향

Objectives: The present study was designed to investigate effects of Ssanghwa-tang (Shuanghua-geng) on oxidation/reduction reaction-related and aging-related enzymes in vitro. Methods: We performed MTT assay, collagenase inhibition assay, elastase inhibition assay, tyrosinase inhibition assay, DPPH free radical scavenging assay, SOD-like activity and xanthine oxidase (XO) inhibition assay, Results: The 50% ethanol (EtOH) extract of Ssanghwa-tang (SHT) showed 55% inhibition of collagenase activity, and 42% inhibition of elastase activity at 1 mg/ml concentration, Also it`s treatment showed 18% inhibition of tyrosinase activity, to relate whitening effect, at the same dose of 50% ethanol extract of SHT. Antioxidant activities were determined by DPPH radical scavenging, XO inhibiting activity and SOD-like activity. These scavenging, XO-inhibiting and SOD-like activities were measured in 80%, 75%, and 28% inhibitions, respectively, at a 1 mg/ml treated dose, compared to those of control. The inhibitory effects of 50% EtOH extract on aging and oxidation-related enzyme activities were higher than those of water extract and 95% EtOH extract. Conclusions: Taken together, our findings suggest that the SHT has potential and applicable benefits for development of cosmetics to have anti-aging (anti-wrinkle and whitening) and anti-oxidation functions.
