          Excellent electron transport properties with enhanced light scattering ability for light harvesting have made well-ordered one dimensional TiO2 nanotube(TNT) arrays an alternative candidate over TiO2 nanoparticles in the area of solar energy conversion applications. The principal drawback of TNT arrays being activated only by UV light has been addressed by coupling the TNT with secondary materials which are visible light-triggered. As well as extending the absorption region of sunlight, the introduction of these foreign components is also found to influence the charge separation and electron lifetime of TNT. In this study, a novel method to fabricate the TNT-based composite photoelectrodes employing visible responsive CuInS2 (CIS) nanoparticles is presented. The developed method is a square wave pulse-assisted electrochemical deposition approach to wrap the inner and outer walls of a TNT array with CIS nanoparticles. Instead of coating as a dense compact layer of CIS by a conventional non-pulsed-electrochemical deposition method, the nanoparticles pack relatively loosely to form a rough surface which increases the surface area of the composite and results in a higher degree of light scattering within the tubular channels and hence a greater chance of absorption. The excellence coverage of CIS on the tubular TiO2 allows the construction of an effective heterojunction that exhibits enhanced photoelectrochemical performance.

          두부둔상 후 내경동맥손상으로 인한 뇌경색의 지연진단: 증례보고

          Blunt cerebrovascular injury is defined as a vertebral or carotid arterial structural wall injury resulting from nonpenetrating trauma. Complete traumatic internal carotid artery occlusion is very rare condition accounting for 0.08~0.4 0f all trauma patients and believed to be associated with the greatest risk of ischemic stroke reported in 50~90% in a few small series. A 55-year-male was admitted with drowsy mentality and severe headache after a fall down accident. Brain computed tomography showed a subdural hematoma at the both frontal area with a fracture of the occipital skull bone. Two days after admission, he suddenly complained with a right side hemiparesis of motor grade 2. Brain magnetic resonance diffusion demonstrated multiple high flow signal changes from the left frontal and parietal lesion. Computed tomographic angiogram (CTA) revealed absence of the left ICA flow. Trans femoral cerebral angiography (TFCA) showed complete occlusion of the left internal carotid artery (ICA) at ophthalmic segment in the left ICA angiogram and flows on the left whole hemispheric lesions through the anterior communicating artery in the right ICA angiogram. We decided to conduct close observations as a treatment for the patient because of acute subdural hematoma and sufficient contralateral cerebral flow by perfusion SPECT scan. Two weeks after the accident, he was treated with heparin anticoagulation within INR 2~4 ranges. He recovered as the motor grade 4 without another neurologic deficit after 3 months [ J Trauma Inj 2015; 28: 190-194 ]

          증례 : 대장내시경 후 발생된 급성담낭염 1예

          A 43-year-old man, who received total gastrectomy five years ago for advanced gastric cancer, underwent a screening colonoscopy and abdominal CT scan. Abdominal CT scan revealed no abnormal findings. Colonoscopy revealed polyps at the rectum, which were removed by polypectomy. The patient did not complain of abdominal pain or discomfort throughout the procedure. But, he developed right upper quadrant abdominal pain on the next day after colonoscopy. Abdominal CT scan revealed the distended gallbladder with mild wall thickening and suspicious sandy stones or sludge in the gallbladder. The patient underwent an open cholecystectomy. Pathology was compatible with acute cholecystitis. We should be aware of and consider cholecystitis in the differential diagnosis for patients with abdominal pain after colonoscopy.           Objectives:Primary gliosarcoma (GSM) is a rare central nervous system tumor with few reports described in the literature. Here, we present our clinical experience and the outcome of primary GSM patients in a single medical center. Method:Primary GSM patients who were treated at our institution between 1990 and 2011 were selected retrospectively. All patients were analyzed by meticulous chart review including clinical and pathologic data. Overall survival was analyzed by Kaplan-Meier survival analysis. Results:Eleven patients were diagnosed with primary GSM. It was 1.7% of glioblastoma (GBM) during the same period. The overall median survival of the 11 patients was 12 months (range : 3 to 177 months). Patients who underwent maximal safe resection had a prolonged median survival compared to those who only underwent biopsy of the tumor (12 vs. 6 months, p=0.288). All patients received adjuvant postoperative radiotherapy and 7 of 11 patients received chemotherapy with temozolomide. Four patients received gamma-knife radiosurgery for local recurrence; however, treatment method by gamma-knife radiosurgery was not significantly associated with prolonged survival in this study. Patients who received re-explorative surgery for resectable recurred tumors had a prolonged median survival compared to those who had non-resectable recurred tumors (14 vs. 6 months, p=0.0082). Conclusion:We present 11 primary GSM patients who were treated according to the standard treatment for GBM. Despite aggressive multimodality treatment, the life expectancy of GSM is very short until now. Therefore, large and comprehensive clinical investigations are needed to establish the standard treatment for primary GSM.

          DEA를 활용한 포워딩 업체의 효율성분석에 관한 연구

          최근 포워딩업체는 글로벌 금융위기에 따른 전체적인 수요감소, 외국계 물류기업의 선전 등으로 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 DEA모형을 이용하여 국내 상위 15개 포워딩 업체들의 2009~2014년까지 5년간 경영효율성 분석을 통해 운영효율성을 증대시키기 위한 시사점 제공을 목적으로 하였다. 투입변수로 종업원수, 자본금, 영업외비용, 산출변수로 매출액, 영업이익을 활용하였다. 분석결과 삼성전자로지텍, 협진해운, 효성트랜스, 3개 업체가 CCR, BCC, 규모 효율성 모두 1로 나타났다. SBM-DEA모형을 통해 투입요소의 비효율성을 측정한 결과, 전반적으로 종업원수를 약 30%, 자본을 36%, 영업외비용을 19%정도 감소시켜야 비효율성을 개선할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 종업원 운영능력이 매출에 크게 영향을 미치는 포워딩 업체에서는 효과적인 인적자원 관리가 필요하며, 영업외비용측면에서 효율적인 미수금 관리 및 외환 차손 관리가 필요하다. An analysis of the efficiency of 15 forwarding companies, including Samsung Electronics Logitech, Hyupjin Shipping, and Hyosung Transformers, was conducted based on data from 2009 to 2014. These companies were assessed in terms of CCR, BCC, and scale efficiency, and were found to be operating under an appropriately efficient scale. This study aims to determine the operating conditions by analyzing the effectiveness of existing domestic forwarding companies, which has not been studied before, and provide suggestions for improving the operational efficiency of forwarding companies in Korea. The average efficiency in terms of CCR for the year 2014 was found to be 0.75, which is a low level that indicates over-commitment and inefficiency. The operating expenses and employee capital generation in operational terms exhibited inefficiencies attributable to scale, which had a value of 0.86. The analysis showed that the top three manufacturers need to reduce RTS size in accordance with DRS, which is a sub-group of six companies. Moreover, the operational efficiency of all forwarding companies should be improved and expanded to achieve the appropriate scale according to the IRS. In addition, the SBM-DEA model was applied to the top 15 forwarding companies to measure the inefficiency of inputs in 2014, based on capital, overall number of employees, and operating expense, which require reductions of 30%, 36%, and 19%, respectively. Such reductions are apparently capable of improving the current inefficiency. Forwarding companies operating in the employee's ability to significantly influence operating revenue inefficiency requires effective management of human resources identified areas, and in terms of non-operating expenses were also able to verify the effective accounts receivable management and foreign currency transactions management is required. As this study considered the sales of only the top 15 companies, the operational efficiency of small and medium-sized forwarding companies was not analyzed. Moreover, the network of partnerships and the agency contracts on which the sales are based were not considered. In the future, variables such as employee careers, cargo throughput, number of network transactions, and number of large customers, which reflect the characteristics of forwarding companies, should be examined. Additional research should also be conducted to account for the factors influencing the establishment of long-term contracts. In addition, we need to grasp each enterprise``s internal management capabilities and additional variables that affect the management efficiency and are in need of systematic and practical research.

          가상현실을 접목한 교육용 V-Factory 시스템 개발

          자동차, 반도체, 플랜트 등 다양한 산업현장에서 PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) 기반으로 생산자동화 시스템을 제어하여 제품 양산이 이루어지고 있다. 이에 따라 산업현장에서는 PLC를 능숙하게 사용할 수 있는 전문 인력과 PLC 교육을 위한 교육 플랫폼이 필요하다. 기존에 개발된 교육 플랫폼들의 경우 PLC를 기반으로 하여 다양한 액추에이터와 센서를 제어할 수 있다. 하지만 화면상 나타나는 생산자동화 시스템이 화면에 2D로만 나타나 현실성이 결여되기 때문에 학습 시 정확한 이해가 힘들다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 보완하여 가상현실에서 학습이 가능한 교육용 V-Factory 시스템을 제안한다. 개발한 V-Factory 시스템은 가상 I/O 드라이버를 도입하여 다양한 종류의 센서 및 액추에이터를 제어할 수 있고, 가상현실에서 가시화된 생산자동화 시스템이 구동되는 모습을 확인할 수 있다. 또한 HMD(Head Mounted Display)를 사용하여 현실적인 PLC 시뮬레이션이 가능하다. 개발한 V-Factory 시스템을 통해 가상현실에서 효과적인 PLC 학습이 이루어질 것으로 기대한다. In industries such as automobiles and semiconductors, a lot of components are produced using PLCs based on an automatic production system. Therefore, an educational platform is needed to provide training in the use of PLCs in the industrial sites. Conventional educational systems, in which PLCs are empolyed to control sensors and which makes it difficult to understand them during the learning process. To overcome these disadvantages, we propose and educational V-Factory system capable of providing PLC training virtual reality. In addition, thousands of sensors and actuatiors can be controlled by the V-Factory system through the proposed virtual I/O driver. The motion of the automatic production system can be visualized using virtual reality.
