신체활동 시 또래 간 갈등해결 중심 유아인성교육활동이 유아의 인성발달에 미치는 효과

본 연구의 목적은 신체활동 시 또래 간 갈등해결 중심 유아인성교육활동이 유아의 인성발달에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 서울시 K구에 위치한 N어린이집의 만 5세 40명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 실험집단과 비교집단에 배치하였다. 연구기간은 총 9주이며, 실험집단 유아들에게 신체활동 시 또래 간 갈등해결 중심 유아인성교육활동을 실시하였다. 연구 효과를 검증하기 위해 유아의 인성발달을 사전, 사후로 실시하고 독립표본 t-검증(SPSS 20.0)으로 통계처리를 하였다. 연구결과, 신체활동 시 또래 간 갈등해결 중심 유아인성교육활동을 실시한 실험집단의 유아가 비교집단의 유아보다 인성발달에 통계적으로 모두 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 유아교육현장에서 신체활동 시 또래 간 갈등해결 중심 인성교육활동이 유아의 인성발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 효과적인 교육활동 임을 시사한다. 또한, 신체활동을 통해 유아의 인성발달을 지원할 수 있는 다양한 신체활동 프로그램이 확대 실시되어야 할 것을 제안하였다. The purpose of to study was to investigate the effects of the character education activity through peer conflicts resolution in a physical activity in character development of preschooler. This study 40 five-years-old children N daycare center located in Seoul Kang Dong Gu. The present was carried out over a Nine-week period, during which the character education activity through peer conflicts resolution in a physical activity was implemented with the young children in the experimental group. In order to verify the effects of the character development for young children were conducted before and after the experiment. Raw scores from the tests were statistically evaluated with SPSS 20.0. The results showed that the scores of the experimental group was significantly higher than those of the comparative group. This result means that character education activity through peer conflicts resolution in a physical activity affected positively children’s character development. In addition, we suggest that a variety of physical activity programs should be extended to support the children’s character development through physical activity.

This article describes the design, collection process, and applied research of the English part of Incheon National University Multi-language Learner Corpus, developed at a Korean university in a project that took place between 2018-2021. The total size of the English corpus was 415,000 words. The corpus consisted of recordings and transcripts of spoken corpus (including conversation and monologue) and written corpus. The spoken corpus had 116 conversations and 244 monologues of 345 students. The written corpus included 158 compositions. Although a number of foreign language learner corpora have been developed in the corpus field, spoken corpora, especially casual conversation data, are relatively rare considering their importance in the research of language acquisition. Unlike other corpora that mainly collect monologues, this corpus includes general conversation, which can be employed in various research of learners' language including casual pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary selection, discourse markers, and conversation strategies. Findings from the research on learner evaluation and pronunciation suggest that researchers who are looking for large sized empirical data might benefit from this corpus in their research. This article will contribute to the development of various linguistic fields including language acquisition and newly building corpora.
북버디(Book-Buddy)를 통한 그림책 읽기 활동이 유아의 또래 상호작용 및 읽기 흥미에 미치는 영향: 만 3세와 만 5세를 중심으로

Objectives The study aims to examine how book buddy activities affect the peer interactions and interest in reading of young children. Methods A total of 90 young children were selected from a preschool in the city of ‘G’, including 3-yearolds(n=40) in two classes of 20 each and 5-year-olds(n=50) in two classes of 25 each. For each age group, one class was designated as an experimental group that would take part in book buddy activities, while the other class served as a comparison group, taking part in reading activities alone. Results The major findings of the study were as follows. First, statistically significant differences were found between the experimental and comparison groups in terms of peer interactions, with the experimental groups for both 3-year-olds and 5-year-olds showing improvement in their overall peer interactions. Second, statistically significant differences were found between the experimental and comparison groups in terms of interest in reading, with the experimental groups for both 3-year-olds and 5-year-olds showing improved overall interest in reading. Conclusions The study results suggest that book buddy activities are an effective teaching-learning method for increasing the peer interactions and interest in reading of young children.

This study analyzes how meanings are multimodally constructed in TED-Ed videos from a cognitive linguistic perspective. This study recognizes that modern communication extends beyond verbal language, incorporating visual imagery and other modes. The research contributes to understanding multimodality by analyzing how TED-Ed's animated lectures, aimed at educating youth, visually express complex and abstract concepts. Specifically, this study analyzes a video on climate change. In order to explain the concepts of this global scale issue, the study demonstrates how visual images exploit human scale compression to facilitate understanding of the difficult and abstract ideas expressed in the linguistic mode. To illustrate this, the study selected a few shots from the video and explained how each shot employs cognitive linguistic concepts such as image schema, conceptual metaphors, and conceptual blending to analyze the interplay between video animation and language.
A Basilar Artery Dissection Mimicking Acute Labyrinthitis in A 15-Year-Old Girl

Basilar artery dissection (BAD) is a rare cause of vertigo in children. A 15-year-old girl pre-sented with sudden vertigo and unilateral hearing loss. Magnetic resonance imaging revealedposterior circulation infarction caused by BAD. After antiplatelet therapy, intratympanic in-jections of dexamethasone and vestibular rehabilitation, her symptoms improved. We reportthis case of BAD, which might be mistaken for acute peripheral vestibular disorders in the early stage.
공을 활용한 신체활동이 5세 유아의 대근육 조작운동능력 및 자기조절력에 미치는 영향

Objectives The purpose of this study is to effect of physical activities using balls on gross motor maneuverability and self-regulation of 5-year-olds. Methods The subjects were 32 five-old-years children(16 in the experimental group and 16 in the comparative group) two classes out of L preschool in the of ‘G’city. The experimental group participated in physical activities using balls, while the comparative group participated in free physical activities, twice a week for eight weeks. Results The results of this study were as, follows, First, gross motor maneuverability in the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the comparative group. Second, self-regulation in the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the comparative group. These results allow children who participated in physical activities using balls to think freely about how to use the balls in various ways. By interacting, it not only brought about the improvement of creative body expression ability. And it can be seen that in the process of participating in physical activities, self-regulation was improved by inducing voluntary immersion and controlling one’s thoughts and emotion. Conclusions Consequentially, This study showed that physical activities using balls should be considered as a meaningful alternative method for teaching and learning methods to help improve on gross motor maneuverability and self-regulation of 5-year-olds.
