        트랜스젠더의 트랜지션 경험에 대한 자기서사 분석: 돌봄의 관점에서

        이 연구는 트랜스젠더의 트랜지션 경험을 구체적인 삶의 맥락 속에서 이해하려는 목적에서, 한국 사회에서 의료적 트랜지션을 경험한 당사자들이 자신의 트랜지션 과정 에 대해 이야기하는 서사를 돌봄의 관점에서 분석하였다. 10명의 연구참여자들이 풀어 낸 자기 서사는 헤게모니적 트랜스 서사의 전형성을 따르면서도 이를 초과하는 모습을 보여준다. 의료적 트랜지션을 특정한 시간적 경로로 규범화하는 헤게모니적 트랜스 서사는 ‘정상적’ 생애주기의 압력과 맞물려 연구참여자들에게 조급함과 불안을 경험하게 하고, 이들의 자기 서사를 트랜스규범성 중심으로 조직하게 하는 요인으로 작용했다. 그러나 이들의 실제 트랜지션은 목표를 향해가는 선형적인 과정이라기보다는 일상적이고 반복적인 실천과 함께 여러 의료 조치들이 중첩되어 일어나는 과정이었으며, 트랜지션의 목표와 신체에 대한 해석 및 생애 기획에 따라 다양한 궤적으로 나타났다. 의료 조치는 이들에게 자신감을 제공했지만 타인과의 상호작용 측면에서 극적인 변화를 만들지는 않았고, 신체적 변화는 타인의 관계 속에서 인식을 조정하는 협상의 과정을 매개하여 의미화되었다. 이들이 경험한 의료적 트랜지션은 의료 조치들뿐 아니라 자기돌봄을 포함 하여 주변 사회관계 속 다양한 돌봄 행위들을 통해 이루어졌으나, 이런 돌봄들은 적극적으로 서사화되기보다는 질문을 받으면 돌출되는 경험으로 남아 있었다. 이 연구의 결과는 규범화된 서사를 넘어 트랜스젠더 경험의 다양성에 주목하게 하고, 트랜지션을 자 기돌봄과 관계적 돌봄이 교차하는 다층적이고 관계적인 과정으로 이해해야 할 필요성 을 제기한다. This article explores the transition experiences of transgender individuals in the contexts of their lives. Drawing on the perspective of care, it analyzes the personal narratives of ten transgender people in South Korea who have undergone medical transition. Their self-narratives reveal both conformity to dominant transnormative discourses and moments that challenge these narratives. While hegemonic narratives shape participants’ self-understandings by imposing expectations of linear progress and producing feelings of anxiety and haste, their actual transition processes emerge as non-linear and characterized by repetitive, everyday practices. The trajectories of transition vary depending on participants’ life plans and their sense of the body and dysphoria. Although medical interventions often enhanced self-confidence, bodily changes did not immediately transform social interactions but rather gained significance through ongoing negotiations with others. These transitions were facilitated not only through medical treatments but also through everyday acts of self-care and relational care within social contexts. These findings highlight the diversity of transgender experiences and call for a relational, multi-layered perspective on transition that transcends normative narratives.

        Differentially Expressed mRNA Profiles between Immature Germinal Vesicle(GV) and Mature Metaphase II(MII) Mouse Oocytes

        미성숙의 Germinal Vesicle(GV 단계에서 성숙한 Metaphase II(MII) 단계가 되는 난자성숙 과정은 핵과 세포질의 성숙을 통해 이루어지며, 이를 통해 수정과 배 발달을 할 수 있는 능력을 갖게 된다. GV 난자는 prophase I 단계에 arrest 되어 있다가 meiosis 과정을 거쳐 성숙한 MII로 되는데 이를 조절하는 기작에 대해서는 거의 알려져 있지 않다. 따라서 본 연구는 미성숙 난자와 성숙 난자간의 유전자 발현의 차이 Oocyte maturation refers to the process that prophase I arrested germinal vesicle(GV) drives the progression of meiosis to metaphase II(MII) to have the capacity for fertilization and embryo development. To better understand the molecular mechanism(s) involved in oocyte maturation, we identified differentially expressed genes(DEGs) between GV and MII mouse oocytes using a new innovative annealing control primer (ACP) technology. Using 20 ACPs, we successfully cloned 32 DEGs between GV and Mll oocytes, and 26 out of these 32 DEGs were functionally known genes. Four genes including Pscd2 were GV-specific, 10 genes including PKD2 and CSN3 were highly expressed in GV oocytes(GV-selective), and 12 genes including Diva were highly expressed in MII oocytes (MII-selective). Ail of the genes identified in this study were first reported in the oocyte expression using ACP system and especially, we could characterize the existence of PKD-CSW signaling pathwayin the mouse oocytes. Results of the present study would provide insight for studying molecular mechanisms regulating oocyte maturation.

        항갑상선제로 치료한 Graves 씨병의 예후에 관한 고찰

        Among the 83 patients acquired the first clinical remission after antithyroid drug treatment in Graves' disease were studied in an attempt to evaluate the prognosis and recurrence rate, as guided by duration of therapy, duration of follow up, TRH responsiveness and TBII activity value. The results were as follows. 1) The recurrence rate after 12 months of treatment, 13-18 months, 19-24 months, 25-30 months and above 30 months revealed 40.0% 27.6% 44.4% 33.3%, 11.1% respectively and appeared that tendency of the decline in recurrence rate with increasing duration of therapy. 2) The recurrence rate within 3 month, and until 6 month, 9 month, 12 month, 15 month. 18 month, 21 month, after cessation of antithyroid drug therapy revealed 7.2%, 9.0%, 8.5%, 3.1%, 4.8% 5.0%, 0%, respectively and the overall recurrence rate within 12 month since the first clinical remission were 27. 8%. 3) The recurrence rate in patients with normal response to TRH stimulation test were 10, 4%, but in abnormal response to TRH were 62.8%. 4) The recurrence rate in patients with normal TBII activity performed after cessation of drug therapy were 4 of the 24 patients(16.6%), but the recurrence rate in patients with abnormal high activity were 13 of the 14 atients(92.8%). 5) The recurrence rate in patients with both subnormal TSH response to TRH and abnormal TBII activity performed after cessation of drug therapy were 10 of the 10 patients(100%). Conclusively, the recurrence rate in Graves` disease treated with antithyroid drugs may be influenced the duration of treatment, both TRH stimulation test and TBII activity test may be also useful indices to evaluate the prognosis.

        Expression of Growth Differentiation Factor-9 in the Mouse Ovaries at Different Developmental Stages

        Growth/differentiation factor-9 (GDF-9)은 transforming growth factor (TGF-) superfamily의 member로서 난소의 난자에서만 특이적으로 발현되며 정상적인 난포발달에 있어 필수적인 성숙인자로 최근에 알려졌다. 본 연구는 RT-PCR을 통해 생쥐의 원시난포에서의 GDF-9 mRNA의 발현 여부와 함께 난포의 발달단계에 따른 상대적인 발현량을 분석하고자 실시하였다. 본 실험에는 ICR 생쥐를 Growth differentiation factor-9 (GDF-9) is a member of the transforming growth factor (TGF-) superfamily. It has been known that GDF-9 is a growth factor having a crucial role in normal folliculogenesis and its expression is oocyte-specific. The present study was aimed to elucidate the expression of GDF-9 mRNA in the mouse primordial follicles as well as in the other developmental stages. The semiquantitative analysis of GDF-9 mRNA expression was conducted. Total RNA was extracted from the ICR mice ovaries at gestational day 19, postnatal day 1, day 10, day 21, and day 28, and RT-PCR was performed to measure GDF-9 and -actin mRNA levels. Level of GDF-9 mRNA were normalized against the level of -actin mRNA, and compared among different stages. GDF-9 mRNA was detected in all samples including the fetal ovaries that mainly consists of primordial follicles. The highest level of mRNA was observed in ovaries obtained at day 10 that mainly consists of growing follicles. The present result suggests that GDF-9 may play an important role in the early stage of folliculogenesis.

        What is introduced in this paper is current and important issues for efficient interoperability between different metadata such as Dublin Cere, MARC 21, and INDECS. Five major principles have been suggested here for effective interoperability between metadata based on the contents of crosswalking in White Paper of NISO. An INDECS based metadata framework, ONIX is compared to MARC and Dublin Core.
