enerally, the most basic component of a family is a couple. In fact, when reading Buddhistic scriptures, we often get to encounter parts where Buddha thoughtfully explains the items of ethical virtue that a couple should preserve always with a genial and gentle attitude. The key of his teachings is that if secular beings want to lead their family happily, the couple that is the center of the family should live in peace and harmony. In other words, when both the husband and the wife play their roles properly, the family can be in peace. Looking into how ethics for a couple is mentioned in the scriptures from the Buddhistic viewpoint, we can find a noticeable point: “The husband and the wife are in an equal relationship.” ‘Ethics for a Couple’ based on pratītya-samutpāda gives us a lesson that can be regarded as the most ideal guideline for couples living today. Nowadays in Korean society, however, couples tend to neglect the ethics for couples and get divorced more and more year after year. Therefore, a couple has to be always aware of the fact that they have met each other in a pratītya-samutpāda relationship for coexistence based on the deep connection lasting for five hundred lives. The husband ought to respect his wife with five things, and the wife should respect his husband with ten things. These items of ethical virtue for a couple can be a clue that can solve problems regarding divorce. This study has figured out morals and ethics for men and women based on Buddhistic scriptures, and the items of ethical virtue for a couple can suggest ways to cope with increasing devoice rate, one of the social problems in this age. 일반적으로 한 가정에서 가장 중심이 되는 구성요소는 부부이다. 그래서 그런지 경전을 대하다보면 우리는 불교경전 도처에서 부처님이 항상 부드럽고 온화한 모습으로 부부가 지켜야 할 윤리덕목을 자상하게 설명하고 있는 장면을 많이 접할 수 있다. 여기서 설하신 그 가르침의 핵심은 재가자가 자신의 가정을 다복하게 이끌고자 한다면, 먼저 가족의 중심이 되는 부부사이가 원만하고 화합해야 한다. 즉, 남편은 남편으로서의 직분을 다하고, 아내는 아내로서 자기의 할 일을 다 할 때에 그 가정은 평화롭게 유지되는 된다는 것이다. 불교경전에서 부부 윤리가 어떻게 시설․언급되고 있는지 고찰해보았을 때 여기에서 주목되는 것은 “남편과 아내 사이가 평등관계”에 있다는 것이다. 이것은 곧 연기적 관계를 의미한다고 할 수 있는데, 이러한 연기적 관계의 ‘부부의 윤리’는 오늘날 부부관계에 가장 이상적인 지침서라고 해도 손색이 없을 禁訓이다. 그러나 오늘날 한국사회는 부부간의 윤리실천의 불이행으로 인하여 이혼의 발생이 해마다 증가하고 있는 추세에 있다. 따라서 부부는 5백생(五百生)의 지중한 인연으로 만난 공생공존의 연기적 관계라는 것을 항상 인식하고, 남편은 마땅히 5가지 일로 그 아내를 공경하고, 아내는 10가지 일로써 남편을 공경해야 한다. 왜냐하면 이러한 부부간의 윤리 덕목의 실천은 이혼문제에 관한 해답을 풀 수 있는 하나의 단초가 될 수 있다. 또한 이것은 불교경전 상에서 보이는 남녀의 윤리도덕을 규명할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 오늘날 이혼율의 증가에 대처하는 탁월한 해결책이 될수 있을 것이다.

Recently, the possibility of promoting inter-Korean economic cooperation is increasing because the tension between South and North Korea is being reduced. Consequently, the interest in North Korea's mine development projects is growing as one of the aspects of inter-Korean economic cooperation. In the promotion of cooperation in mining development, mine hazard risk management should be considered. However, there is a lack of information pertaining to mine hazards in North Korea. To this end, this study was performed to determine the status of mining-related hazards in 12 mines in North Korea by using the image analysis feature of Google Earth. From the results obtained, we observed some mining-related hazards such as tailing dam failures, yellow boy phenomenon, and land subsidence. 최근 남한과 북한의 긴장완화에 따라 남북 경제협력사업 추진 가능성이 높아지고 있다. 북한의 광산 개발 사 업은 남북 경협사업으로 많은 관심을 받고 있는 상황이다. 북한 광산개발 혹은 광산분야 협력사업 추진 시 광해위험관 리에 대한 고려를 해야한다. 그러나, 북한의 광해실태 정보는 부족한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 구글 어스를 활용 하여 북한의 12개의 대표 광산에 대하여 광해현황를 조사하였다. 구글 어스 영상 분석 결과, 북한 지역의 광물찌꺼기 적치장 붕괴, 적화현상, 지반침하 등의 광해를 확인할 수 있었다.

실험적 가토 뇌부종에 대한 Pentobarbital의 영향

뇌외상 후 뇌부종 증가에 대한 pentobarbital의 효과를 규명하기 위해 용액비중법을 이용하여 전두엽, 후두엽, 기저핵, 소뇌, 뇌교 및 연수의 외상 후 30분, 2, 4 및 6시간의 뇌비중을 측정하고 뇌외상 후 pentobarbital 정맥주사 후 각 시간의 뇌비중을 측정하여 비교 분석한 결과 다음의 결론을 얻었다. 1) 뇌외상 후 각 부위별 뇌부종은 대개 4시간에 최고에 달했다. 2) 뇌외상 및 pentobarbital 투여 후 각 부위별 비중변화는 외상측 및 반대측 모두에서 대개 30분 및 2시간에 의의있는 뇌비중의 증가가 있었고 4시간에는 전두엽과 후두엽 및 기저핵의 외상측에서, 그리고 반대측의 추두엽 및 뇌교에서도 같은 소견이었으며, 6시간에선 후두엽, 기저핵, 뇌교 및 연수의 외상측과 반대측소뇌에서 역시 의의있는 비중의 변화가 있었다. 3) 외상 후 뇌부위별 수분 함량의 증감은 외상측 및 반대측 모두에서 30분에 가장 많은 수분 감소를 했으며 그 후 시간 경과에 따라 수분 감소 정도가 미약했다. 이상의 결과로 보아 두부외상의 뇌부종에 대한 Pentobarbital의 효과는 아직 그 정확한 기전은 알 수 없으나 확실히 뇌부종을 감소시킴을 관찰했다. This study was undertaken to identify the effect of pentobarbital on the traumatic brain edema in the rabbit by measuring the regional specific gravity with modified serial copper sulfate method. After delivery of brain injury on the frontal area, the animals were sacrificed at 30 minutes, 2 hours, 4 hours and 6 hours. And the regional specific gravity was taken in the frontal lobe, occipital lobe, basal ganglia, cerebellum, pons and medulla. The specific gravity after administration of pentobarbital (40 mg/kg) in the head-injured rabbit was also taken with the same method and compared with the specific gravity in the absence of pentobarbital to identify the effect of pentobarbital on the brain edema. The results were summarized as follows : 1) The brain edema was peak at 4 hours after head trauma. 2) Significant increase of specific gravity was noted in all regions at 30 minutes, 2 hours and 4 hours after administration of pentobarbital. The findings were similar td both contused and uncontused sides. But all specific gravity data were decreased in all regions at 6 hours. 3) The decrease in brain water content was peak at 30 minutes after administration of pentobarbital, but almost brain water content was reversely increased at 6 hours. These results suggest that the pentobarbital was effective in decreasing the brain edema.

Candida Albicans에 의한 뇌농양 : 증례보고

Intracerebral abscess secondary to Candida albicans is very rare but its incidence is increasing after the introduction of broad-spectrum antibiotics. Generally, in cerebral fungal abscess, multiple predisposing factors like diabetes mellitus were known. Before the introduction of broad-spectrum antibiotics, cryptococcosis was more prevalent than moniliasis. But after the introduction of broad-spectrum antibiotics, moniliasis was more prevalent than other fungal infections. A patient with multiple brain abscess due to Candida albicans is reported. This 17-year-old girl had diabetes mellitus for 1 year. This report presents a case of cerebral abscess of Candida albicans with its autopsy findings and the review of the literature.
