Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a pleiotropic cytokine generating multifunctional signals to several cell lines such as B cells, T cells, hepatocytes, myeloma, and leukemic cell lines. To understand the diverse signals generated by IL-6, it is essential to clarify the molecular and cellular events following IL-6 stimulation. IL-6 binding to its receptor triggers the association of the cytoplasmic domain of the receptor (gp80) with a signal transducing unit of IL-6R, gpl3O. Since neither gp80 nor gp130 have any protein tyrosine kinase domain, unknown protein kinases except Janus kinase might be involved in the early steps of IL-6 signal transduction. Like many other cytokines and growth factors, IL-6 activates p2l'az. However the precise biochemical mechanism leading to the p21' activation is still unclear. It was recently elucidated that she (src homology and collagen) known to activate p21' affected on IL-6 signal pathway. Therefore we investigated the effects of IL-6 on Grb2 (growth factor receptor bound protein 2), which is an element of the Ras pathway in multiple systems. In multiple myeloma cell line U266, IL-6 induced the tyrosine phosphorylation of several Grb2-associated proteins 80, 66, 52 and 44kD in a time-dependent manner. We also observed several protein kinases or substrates, including 44 and 25kD protein, by in vitro kinase assay. These findings suggest that IL-6 might activate the Ras signalling pathway via tyrosine phosphorylation of several Grb2-associated proteins. Futher studies will be need to elucidate which of the IL-6 receptor-associated cytoplasmic tyrosine kinases or adaptor proteins mediate IL-6 signalling pathway.

조선시대 과거 낙폭지(落幅紙)의 재활용 문화

본 논문은 조선 시대 과거 시험의 답안지인 시권(試券)이 고시 후 어떻게 재활용되었는지 살펴보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 본격적인 논의에 앞서 조선시대 관청에서 사용한 여러 종이 물자들의 실태에 대해 우선적으로 살펴보았다. 관청에서 사용하는 여러 공문서에 후지(厚紙)를 쓰려는 관습 등으로 인해 종이 물자가 부족해진 상황이 심각하게 도래하였으며, 이러한 상황 속에서 낙방한 사람들의 답안지인 낙폭지는 재활용되기에 좋은 조건을 두루 갖추고 있었다. 낙폭지는 군사물품과 영건(營建)에 필요한 여러 작업의 부재(部材), 각종 문서 및 서적의 포장과 병풍 등 서화류 미술품의 배접, 의례시 필요한 의복과 기구, 각종 장인들이 만드는 기물 등 종이가 필요한 거의 모든 곳에 재활용되었음을 알 수 있었다. 감시낙폭지는 모든 분야에 골고루 활용되었으며, 정시낙폭지는 영건과 장인들의 기물에 주로 쓰였고 동당낙폭지는 서적의 포장에서 대부분 활용되었다. 시기가 흐를수록 낙폭지의 활용처는 더욱 확대되고 세분화되는 양상을 보였다. 현재 유물의 보존처리 과정에서 낙폭지들이 하나씩 발견되고 있는 바, 이를 분석하는 작업을 통해 해당 문화재의 제작 시기 및 원형 상태를 추측하는 단서가 되기도 한다. 그러므로 이 또한 제대로 보관하고 분석해 보아야 할 문화재라는 인식이 제고되어야 할 시점이다.

국가산업단지의 라키비움 활용에 관한 연구

This study tried to recognize the historical and cultural value of national industrial complex and find appropriate usage of these complex. National industrial complex have played an important role in Korean industry and economy, but it is undervalued below its real worth. This study aimed to survey about potential contents of national industrial complex and find possibilities of cultural usage with larchiveum. Larchiveum is a convergent notion of library, archive and museum. As current society needs lifelong education and community program, larchiveum can expand the area of these functions with collection, communication, education and service. This study surveyed 35 national industrial complex and classified four groups depending on types of business. The survey is focused on tangible and intangible contents of both industrial history and life history such as building, facility, product, skill, data, system, labor movement, living environment and life culture. The results of the study are ① Most of national industrial complex are of great value in historical and industrial perspectives. ② In terms of quality and quantity of contents of national Industrial complex, industrial contents are more valuable than life-cultural contents, because residential and cultural environment is still limited in national industrial complex. ③ National industrial complex are grouped as four relevant business and have similar characteristic value and ④ 35 National industrial complex can be classified for cultural use of larchiveum.

동물병원 방사선관계종사자의 피폭선량 측정 및 평가

The details of the radiation used in the current veterinary hospitals have been regulated by the regulations of animal diagnostic radiators. However, veterinary hospitals with a total workload of less than 10 mA·min per week are excluded from the legal obligation to administer radiation safety management. This study investigated the actual situation of small animal hospitals. Based on the results of this survey, the radiation dose of the radiation workers was measured and evaluated. The results of this study will be a meaningful assessment of small animal hospitals that are excluded from legal objectives.

유아가 인식한 부자와 가난한 사람의 이미지에 대한 연구

The purpose of this study is to understand young children's view on the concept ofpoor and rich. The subjects of this study were 150 young children in 3 kindergartens and 3 child-care centers. The selected children drew images of the conceptof poor and rich and explained the meaning of their drawings. This research has found: First, the participants perceived the concept of poor and rich as their possession of money and goods. Second, the participants perceived the concept of poor and rich as their external character. For example, the external character included their outlook, behavior and sex. Third, the participants perceived the concept of poor and rich as their internal character. For example, the internal character included their emotion and character. 본 연구의 목적은 유아들이 인식한 부자와 가난한 사람의 이미지를 이해하는 것이다. 연구의 대상은 계층별로 유치원과 어린이집 만 5세 유아 각 50명씩, 총 150명이며 부자와 가난한 사람의 이미지를 그림으로 그리고 설명하도록 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 유아들은 그들이 속한 계층에 상관없이 부자와 가난한 사람에 대하여 돈과 물건의 소유를 중심으로 인식하였다. 둘째, 유아들은 부자와 가난한 사람의 이미지를 외현적 특성인, 외모, 행동, 성별을 중심으로 부자를 외모가 크고 화려하고 적극적인 모습으로, 반면 가난한 사람은 외모가 작고 초라하며 소극적인 모습으로 인식하였다. 셋째, 유아들은 부자와 가난한 사람에 대한 인식에서 정서와 성품의 내재적 특성을 중심으로 부자는 긍정적 정서를, 가난한 사람은 부정적 정서를 가진 것으로 인식하였다. 유아들의 부자와 가난한 사람에 대한 이미지에 따르면, 사람이 가진 소유물이 그들의 외현적·내재적 특성에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 유아의 빈부 이미지는 발달적 특성과 사회문화적 환경의 영향을 받아 형성되는 것을 알 수 있었다.

복합 핵종 방사선량률 평가 프로그램의 개발

In some cases, it may be necessary to calculate the shielding rate by predicting theradiation dose rate after the shielding due to the maintenance and modification of the shieldingarea designed for the initial license. Complex radionuclide required complex calculations in thecalculation of radiation dose rates compared to single radionuclide. In this study, we can developa radiation dose rate calculation program that is simple to operate and accessible to users insteadof expensive programs or complex calculations, and suggests appropriate radiation managementtechniques according to the results.

연구논문 : 우리나라 여성정책에 대한 평가와 발전방안에 관한 연구; 역대 정부 여성정책담당기구의 비교 및 변천과정을 중심으로

우리나라의 여성경제활동인구가 약 1천만여명에 달하고 있음에도 불구하고, 실제 여성의 경제활동 인구는 정작 OECD회원국의 평균수준에도 못 미치고 있는 실정이다. 이와 관련하여 역대 정부에서는 여성의 사회활동을 지원하는 다양한 정책을 추진되었고, 여성을 위한 독립적인 정책담당기구를 설립하게 되었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 새정부가 출범할 때마다 부처통합 및 축소의 대상으로 논란이 끊임없으며, 여성정책담당 기구로서의 역할과 기능을 확대하지 못하고 있는 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 독립적인 여성정책담당기구의 설립을 기준으로 여성정책과제의 추진과정을 진단하고, 여성정책담당기구의 역할과 기능을 최대화할 수 있는 국가적 종합계획을 추진함에 있어 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 여성의 일자리 창출, 양성평등 및 일가족양립지원정책 등이 추진되고 있는데, 향후 여성정책담당기구의 독립적이고 강력한 총괄기능을 할 수 있도록 강화하여야 한다. 또한 ,여성의 권익과 지위를 보호하는 정책과제가 지속적으로 마련될 뿐만 아니라 여성이 사회주도자로서의 역할을 할 수 있도록 제도적 기반을 구축하여야 할 것이다.
