이 소고는 인간 욕망의 근원과 양상을 다룬 르네 지라르와 욕망의 현상과 그 증상을 살핀 라캉의 논의와 관련지어 한국사회에 ``모방 욕망``의 현상이 매우 광범위하고 심층적으로 존재하며 이러한 사회문화적 현상의 이면에 소위 욕망의 정치와 욕망의 종교가 자리하고 있다고 진단한다. 욕망의 정치는 이미지가 실재를 대신하는 시뮬라시옹의 체제로 물질적이며 현세적인 욕망 충족을 목적으로 한다. 기독신앙은 하나님의 말씀을 바탕으로 이 이미지의 질서체계를 분별하고 그 우상 숭배적 속성을 해체시켜야 하는 본질적 소명을 지니고 있다. 그 소명의 자리를 이탈하게 되면 기독신앙은 욕망의 종교로 전락하여 욕망의 정치의 짝패가 되어 서로가 욕망의 주체와 매개자(모델)로 작동하는 이중 매개 현상을 초래한다. 이러한 욕망의 정치와 욕망의 종교의 결탁은 우리 사회에 편만해 있는 ``모방 욕망``을 강화하고 재생산하며 실재의식과 주체의식의 상실로 나아가는 부조리한 상황을 결과한다. 욕망의 정치와 욕망의 종교 사이에서 기독교적으로 학문함의 의미를 모색하는 것은 다름 아닌 창조-타락-회복의 기독교세계관의 패러다임의 전제 하에 구체적인 세계상의 인식을 통해 회복과 변혁을 위한 접점을 확보하려는 노력의 일환이다. 성서적 내러티브에 의거한 인간 이해의 해석적 균형에 입각하여 타락의 실존과 함께 창조와 구속(회복)을 통한 인간의 존귀함에 대한 이해는 진정한 자유와 존엄을 향한 초석이 된다. 인간의 양도할 수 없는 자유와 존엄이 무시되고 인간의 생명과 삶이 화폐의 가치로 환산되는 야만의 시대에 기독교적으로 학문함의 의미에 대한 질문은 궁극적으로 기독학문공동체인 기독교대학의 의미에 대한 본질적 질문과 직결된다고 믿는다. 본고는 그에 대한 예비적인 답변으로 기독교적으로 학문함의 내포적 의미를 성서의 구원 서사인 창조-타락-회복의 패러다임에 근거한 세계관의 구축과 이 세계관의 구체적인 접점인 세계상의 확보에 바탕을 두고 기독교적으로 학문함의 외연을 ``지금 여기``의 구체적인 의제와 쟁점을 포함하여 ``신자유주의 한국 사회``의 공시적 상황과 ``식민지와 전쟁을 경유한 한반도의 근현대사``라는 통시적 정황까지 확장시켜야 한다고 주장한다. 그것이 기독신앙이 욕망의 정치에 포획된 욕망의 종교가 되어 개인적이고 사적 영역에서만 소환되는 종교 소비재로 변질되지 않고 개인과 공동체의 전 사회문화적 영역에서 ``하나님의 나라와 의를 구하는`` 삶을 가능하게 하는 길이다. Having noticed the widespread and deeply rooted phenomena of ``imitation desires`` in the current Korean society, under the surface of which the so-called ``politics of desire`` and ``religions of desire`` lie, this paper is concerned with the inquiries of the significance of learning in a Christian perspective in connection with Rene? Girard`s proposal & Jacques Lacan`s theory on the causes and aspects of human desires. While politics of desire innately is a system of "simulation" in Jean Baudrillard`s sense, in which realities are replaced with images, aiming at the gratification of materialistic and worldly desires, Christian faith has an essential calling for discerning the ordered system of images and de-constructing its idolatrous characters. Once being deviated from the position of the calling, Christianity might have fallen into a religion of desire, befriended with politics of desire. Politics of desire and religions of desire have become the subjects and mediators of desire so reciprocally that through the process of double mediation imitation desires have been reinforced and reproduced in our society. The metaphysics of politics of desire and religion of desire leads into situations with absurdity, which dictates the loss of the awareness of realities and a sense of self-sovereignty. In this vein, searching for the significance of learning between politics of desire and religion of desire corresponds to taking steps toward restoring the Christian worldview paradigm of Creation-Fall- Redemption as well as securing contact points through recognizing concrete and specific aspects of the world (=Weltbild). Understanding human beings and their conditions & experiences based biblical narratives of Creation-Fall-Redemptive restoration gives rise to understanding the nobility and dignity of human existence, which in turn results in laying a cornerstone for establishing human freedom and dignity based on the incarnational humanism compatible with the biblical doctrines.

This study shows how the voltage-current characteristic in the first breakdown region can be used to predict the voltage and current levels required for thermal second breakdown in p-η junction. The test is based on the temperature dependence of the ionization coefficients and the fact that the intrinsic carrier density equals approximately the doping density at the stage of thermal second breakdown. The first breakdown voltage versus temperature is calculated for a given geometry and doping profile. Also the breakdown voltage is calculated for a different current level by assuming constnat temperature. Using these first breakdown voltages and low level measurements, the voltage and current level at which thermal second breakdown will occur is predicted. Then the device is forced into thermal second breakdown under the given condition and the result is compared to the values predicted. They agree very well, so the validity of the proposed model is proved.
