        인플루엔자 예방접종 후 발생한 Stevens-Johnson Syndrome

        Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) is a rare, severe and immune-mediated cutaneous reaction usually secondary to the idiosyncratic reaction of medication, such as sulfonamide, anti-convulsant, NSAIDs and so on. The infection with Mycoplasma pneumoniae is also a well-documented cause. Influenza vaccination is relatively safe and increases with pandemic advance. Mild adverse reactions of influenza vaccination are relatively frequent, such as erythema, pains, fevers, myalgia, headaches and so on. But, severe skin adverse reactions are also very rare. We present a case of seasonal influenza vaccination induced Stevens-Johnson syndrome which has not previously been documented in Korea. (Korean J Dermatol 2013;51(7):560∼564)

        HaCaT 각질형성세포에서 자외선 B에 대한 세포자멸사 및 자가포식현상 유도

        Background: UVB irradiation induces apoptosis or/and autophagy through several molecular pathways in keratinocytes. However, the precise molecular mechanism of UVB-induced autophagy is largely unknown in keratinocytes. Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the molecular mechanisms of UVB-induced apoptosis and autophagy in HaCaT cell lines. Methods: Cells were irradiated by UVB (Westinghouse FS-40 sunlamps) with various doses (0, 30, 60, 120, 240 mJ/cm2). The expression levels of caspase-3, Bax, Bcl2, Bcl-XL and LC3 were confirmed by Western blot analysis in UVB-irradiated HaCaT cell lines. Apoptotic cells were analyzed by PI staining, and autophagy cells were analyzed by immunofluorescent staining. Results: The expression of Bcl-XL decreased from UVB 60 mJ/cm2 and Bcl2 decreased from UVB 240 mJ/cm2. The expression of caspase-3 was increased from UVB 120 mJ/cm2. These data showed that UVB-induced apoptosis is mediated by up-regulation of caspase-3 and down-regulation of Bcl2 and Bcl-XL. Furthermore, the expression of LC3 increased from UVB 120 mJ/cm2. In addition, autophagy formation was observed in few fractions of apoptotic HaCaT cells in immunofluorescent staining; most apoptotic cells did not show autophagy formation. Moreover, autophagy formation inhibitor treatment induced a slight increment of apoptotic cell population under UVB irradiation. Conclusion: UVB irradiation induces not only apoptotic cell death but also autophagy formations; these events may create a defense mechanism for the prevention of apoptosis in UVB-treated HaCaT cells.         Pneumococcus is a very important pathogen for children and elderly people, and causes considerable morbidity and mortality in these groups. Pneumococcal vaccination is relatively safe, and is being increasingly used for the prevention of pneumococcal disease, such as meningitis, pneumonia, otitis media, and bacteremia. Mild adverse reactions of pneumococcal vaccination are relatively common, and include erythema, pain, fever, myalgia, and headaches. However, adverse skin reactions are very rare. Here, we present a case of pneumococcal vaccination- induced localized toxic reaction mimicking fixed drug eruption on a nearby vaccination injection site in an infant, which has not previously been documented in Korea.

        쓰기 지도 방법의 차이가 중학생의 영어 쓰기능력 및 영어 쓰기에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향 분석

        This study investigated the effect of process-oriented approach on improving middle school students` writing ability and attitude toward English writing. For this study, 18 students in the third year of a middle school were selected as subjects. They were divided into two groups. Process-oriented writing activities were adapted to the experimental group while product-oriented writing activities were adapted to the controlled one. To verify the effectiveness of process-oriented writing activities for improvement of writing competence, four types of test were administered before and after the experiment. The result of the questionnaire survey and analysis of the administered tests suggested that the effect of process-oriented writing activities on middle school students` writing competence and attitude toward English writing be proved to be significantly positive.         An Organizational Citizenship Behaviors(OCB)Model and Comparison of The Perceived OCB between Small-Medium Enterprises(SME's) Employees and The Large Enterprises' One

        조직시민행동의 개념은 '조직구성원의 권리', '조직과 개인의 관계', '조직구성원의 책임 있는 행동'의 3가지 요소로 구성되어 있으며, 이들 구성요소는 조직구성원의 권리-->조직과 개인의 관계-->조직구성원의 책임있는 행동(조직시민행동)으로 이어지는 네트워크를 형성하고 있다. 본 연구는 조직시민행동을 ""조직구성원으로서 누리는 권리에 상응한 책임있는 행동""으로 정의하고, 이러한 정의를 바탕으로 조직시민행동 모델을 제시하였다. 이러한 조직시민행동의 개념을 측정을 통해 검증하기 위하여, 다음과 같이 해석하고 구체화 하였다. 첫째, 조직구성원의 권리는 공정성 인식으로 해석하였다. 둘째, 조직과 개인의 관계는 조직몰입으로 해석될 수 있다. 셋째, 조직구성원의 책임있는 행동은 복종적 행동, 충성적 행동, 참여적 행동으로 구분될 수 있다. 이상과 같은 조직시민행동 모델을 국내 6개기업에 종사하는 980명 종업원을 대상으로 수집된 표본자료에 적용하여 회수된 설문지는 650부로 회수율은 66.3%였고, 그 중 자료로 활용한 유효표본은 603부였다. 통계적 기법을 사용해 검증해 본 결과 매우 타당한 모델로 평가되었다. 또한 이를 통하여 다음과 같은 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구는 기존의 조직시민행동 연구가 가진 한계성을 극복할 수 있는 대안적 모델의 제시에 연구의 기본 방향을 맞추고, 다음과 같은 두 가지의 세부적 목적을 설정하였다. 첫째, 기존의 연구와는 달리 이론에 기반을 둔 조직시민행동 모델을 제시하고, 이를 실증적 자료를 통하여 검증하는데 주목적을 두었다. 둘째, 연구목적의 수행결과 얻어진 조직시민행동 모델을 좀더 일반화시킬 수 있는 가능성을 타진하는데 부차적 연구목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 조직시민행동 모델에 개인의 특성(개인의 성향과 인구통계적 특성)을 포함할 수 있을지의 가능성을 타진하였다. 이러한 두 가지 목적을 구체화시키기 위하여, 본 논문은 전체를 크게 4개의 부분으로 나누고 조직시민행동 모델과 가설을 검증하였다. 측정도구의 타당성 검증과 관련하여, 1차적으로 6개 기업 603명의 표본자료를 통한 탐색적 요인분석(exploratory factor analysis)을 실시하고, 이를 다시 교차 표본자료를 통해 확인해 보는 확인적 요인분석(confirmatory factor analysis)의 절차를 따랐다. 본 연구는 이론적 기반의 취약성이 문제점으로 지적되었던 기존의 연구와는 달리 시티즌십의 이론을 바탕으로 조직시민행동 모델을 제시하고, 이를 실증적으로 검증하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다고 할 수 있을 것이다. 그러나 다음과 같은 점에서 딴 가지 한계가 있을 수 있음을 지적해 둔다. 첫째, 조직시민행동의 조사방법과 관련하여 문제가 있을 수 있다. 둘째, 조직시민행동 모델의 측정변수로 사용한 조직구성원의 공정성 인식, 조직몰입, 조직시민행동을 어느 조직에서나 통용되는 일반적인 개념으로 보고 측정하였다는 점이다. 셋째, 조직시민행동의 각 차원을 측정하기 위하여 사용된 측정도구는 간명성이 부족하다. This paper has two major purposes. One is to suggest a valid OCB definition and its model. The other is to analyze Small-Medium Enterprises employees'OCB problems and their causes by comparing the OCB of SMEs employees with that of large enterprises employees based on the previously validated Organizational. For the first one, this paper defined OCB as individual member's responsible behaviors corresponding to the rights encumbered by the belonging organizations. Based on the OCB construct, it suggested a nomological network ""employee's rights -> relational ties -> OCB responsibilities"", and validated it using Korean employees data collected from the six companies including SMEs and Large Enterprises. The comparison of OCB between SMEs employees and Large Enterprises employees showed that overall Large Enterprises employee' OCB was higher than that of SMEs employees, and that the differences in their obedience and functional participation were very significant.

        상보적 교수법이 중,고등학생의 문식성 향상에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of reciprocal teaching method on improving the literacy of middle school and high school students in Korea. For this study, 118 students were selected as subjects. The middle school students were divided into two groups (20 students for each group) and so were the high school students (34 students for each group). Reciprocal teaching was adapted to the experimental groups while teacher guided teaching was adopted to the controlled ones. To verify the effectiveness of the present study, 4 reading ability tests and 8 writing ability tests were designed and they were administered before and after the experiment respectively. The result of the study revealed the followings: 1) Reciprocal teaching is effective for the improvement of reading ability. 2) Reciprocal teaching is also effective for the improvement of writing ability. 3) Reciprocal teaching is significantly effective for the improvement of literacy. These results offer EFL teachers insights into utilizing reciprocal teaching method for English literacy education in secondary level in Korea.

        K-pop 영어버전 영상 자료 활용이 영어듣기능력 및 영어 문식성(Literacy) 학습태도에 미치는 영향

        The present study aims to examine the effect of using K-pop English versions for the English listening ability and the English literacy learning attitude of middle school students in Korea. A total of 40 Korean middle school students were selected as subjects and divided into two groups (20 students for each group). K-pop English versions were adapted to the experimental group while English pop songs were adapted to the controlled group. To verify the effectiveness of K-pop English versions as English learning tools for the improvement of the listening ability and literacy learning attitude, a listening test and a questionnaire survey were administered before and after the experiment respectively. The result of the study revealed the followings: 1) Both K-pop English versions and English pop songs are very effective for the improvement of the middle school students' English listening ability. 2) K-pop English versions are more significantly positive for the English literacy learning attitude than English pop songs. These results imply that K-pop English versions would be considered as one of the most effective English learning tools for middle school students in Korea.

        K-pop의 영어교육적 활용 가능성에 대한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to examine the feasibility of utilizing K-pop in primary and secondary English education in Korea. For this purpose, 3 specific areas were focused; 1) the coincidental vocabulary appearances between two word lists: K-pop based word list and basic word list presented in the 2009 RNEC(Revised National English Curriculum), 2) the general attitude of 807 students (391 primary and 416 middle) toward K-pop as an English learning tool, 3) the attitude of 141 English teachers (71 primary and 70 secondary) for K-pop as an English teaching tool. The result of the study revealed the followings: 1) Over 70% words of K-pop based word list (based on the 2012 chart of Billboard Korea) are also listed in the basic word list presented in the 2009 RNEC. 2) Over 80% of students are interested in learning English using K-pop. 3) After informing K-pop based word list, English version of K-pop and K-pop covers on Youtube, the result of each survey(1st and 2nd) showed that the teachers’ attitude moved from the negative side to the positive side. From these results it can be expected that K-pop will be considered an effective English teaching tool in Korea.

        선택적 지각(selective perception)이 중학생의 영어 읽기 능력 및 영어 학습 태도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of selective perception on middle school students’ English reading competence and attitude toward English reading in Korea. For this study, 80 middle school students were selected as subjects. They were divided into two groups(40 students for each group). The reading materials from the reading comprehension books published by EBS were adapted to the experimental group while the reading materials from 5 different textbooks for middle school 3rd grade were adopted to the controlled one. The reading materials from EBS books are shorter than the ones from textbook and they cover wider range of topics. To verify the effectiveness of the present study, 2 reading ability tests and 1 questionnaire were designed and they were administered before and after the experiment. The result of the study revealed the followings: 1) Using reading materials from EBS is more effective for the improvement of reading ability. 2) Using the reading materials from EBS is also effective for the improving positive attitude toward English reading.
