This dissertation aims to investigate the theme of the personal self-consciousness in Great Expectations, Charles Dickens' favorite theme. In Chapter Ⅱ, it will be made clear how the protagonist Pip loses his personal identity. In the former part of the novel, Pip goes through the process of entering the macrocosm out of his microcosm. Not satisfied with the secure life at his sister's home where his brother-in-law offers ever favorable guide, Pip decides to go to London to realize his ambition, to get the gentlemanship. In the eagerness of pursuing this ambition, he at last falls a victim to the seduction of a great expectation. Pip goes through a series of suffering because he has misthought that the unearned wealth is a shortcut to the gentlemanship. In the course of widening his physical world, Pip loses his personal self. - ⅳ - Dickens' device of the plot which is divided into these two meaningful parts can be said to have been intended to dramatize the process of Pip's initiation. Dickens, in the last analysis, has meant to reveal the value of the real self of an individual by dramatizing his hero's action. A series of Pip's action after his recognition is heroic one seldom found in average men in Victorian Age when all rush for the class-promotion by attaining contitions, not mental or spiritual but physical. - ⅴ - In Great Expectations, Dickens can be said to reveal his innermost thought of glorifying the genuine human personality uncorrupted by the social experience in that he satirzies the general institutions of British society in Victorian Age which snared Pip.
1D-Na<sub>2</sub>Ti<sub>6</sub>O<sub>13</sub> 합성 변수에 따른 미세구조 및 밴드 갭 에너지 변화

Nano-structured one-dimensional $Na_2Ti_6O_{13}$ particles were synthesized by a molten salt process. Effects of processing parameters on the microstructure and band gap energy of the $Na_2Ti_6O_{13}$ powder were studied in this paper. For the synthesis of the $Na_2Ti_6O_{13}$ particles, two different raw materials of tubular shaped Na-titanate (Na-TiNT) and spherical shaped $TiO_2$ were utilized. Synthesizing with the raw material of Na-TiNT, around 70nm thick 1D-$Na_2Ti_6O_{13}$ with the bandgap energy of 3.5 eV was obtained at $810^{\circ}C$. Below $810^{\circ}C$ or without the presence of NaCl, 1D-$Na_2Ti_6O_{13}$ was in a relatively short in length and agglomerated state. With the processing temperature increased, the thickness of the 1D-$Na_2Ti_6O_{13}$ was also observed to be increased. On the other hand, when $TiO_2$ was employed as a raw material, the mixed amount of $Na_2CO_3$ played an important role in transforming the morphology and phase of the raw material, affecting the bandgap energy of the synthesized product. Specific surface area of the synthesized 1D-$Na_2Ti_6O_{13}$ was significantly affected by the raw and mixed materials as well as processing temperature. When Na-TiNT was processed at $810^{\circ}C$ with NaCl, the specific surface area of the 1D-$Na_2Ti_6O_{13}$ showed the best value of 30.63 $m^2/g$.

실내에서 이동로봇의 절대위치 측정을 위해서 초음파를 이용하는 초음파 위치측정 시스템이 많이 연구되고 있다. 이러한 초음파 위치측정 시스템들은 초음파의 혼신을 피하기 위해 순차 발신하는 방법을 사용하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 순차 발신으로 인해 이동로봇이 이동하는 경우에는 초음파의 수신위치가 변하므로 위치측정 정도가 떨어지게 된다. 본 논문에서는 수신시점에 따른 가중치를 적용하는 새로운 위치추정 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 그리고 제안된 알고리즘을 기존의 초음파위성시스템에 적용하여 개선된 초음파위성시스템을 구축하였다. 그리고 실험을 통하여 제안된 알고리즘을 가진 개선된 초음파위성시스템의 위치측정 성능을 입증하였다. For the measurement of absolute position of mobile robot in indoor environments, the ultrasonic positioning systems using ultrasound have been researched for several years. Most of these ultrasonic positioning systems to avoid interference between the ultrasound are used for sequential transmitting. However, due to the use of sequential transmitting, the positions of transmitter to receive an ultrasound will change when the mobile robot moves. Therefore the accuracy of positioning is reduced. In this paper, the new position estimation algorithm with weighting factor according to the time of receipt is proposed. By applying the proposed algorithm to existing Ultrasonic Satellite System(USAT), the improved USAT is configured. The positioning performance of the improved USAT with the proposed position estimation algorithm are verified by experiments.
