The streaming current of insulating oil increases with increasing oil velocity and oil amount, A contact potential difference as an energetic state exits in the polymer thin film, both sides of which are contacted by two different metals having different work functions. Accordingly, the potential difference may be a cause for the short circuited transient current flowing through the external circuit. The polymers are electrificated as the electric field is supplied, and the currents flow with increasing temperature.

$CaSnO_3$ specimens were fabricated by solid reaction method, and their humidity sensitive characteristics have been investigated. Capacitance increases with increasing relative humidity, better humidity sensitivity are shown at lower frequencies. Humidity sensitivity are stable at variable temperatures, and hysteresis phenomenon is shown with adsorption and desorption. Drift phenomenon is exhibited by exposing the specimens in the air, and a decrease of humidity sensitive by contamination is inhibited by heat cleaning. $CaSnO_3$ 시편을 고상반응법에 의해 제작하고, 그의 감습특성에 대해 조사하였다. 커패시턴스는 상대습도가 증가함에 따라 증가하며, 저주파 영역에서 우수한 감습도를 나타냈다. 감습도는 온도변화에 안정되며, 흡습, 탈습에 따라 약간의 히스테리시스 현상이 나타났다. 대기중 노출에 의해 드리프트 현상이 나타나며, 가열클리닝에 의해 오염에 의한 감습도 저하를 방지할 수 있다.

(Ba_(0.5), Ca_(0.5))TiO₃ humidity-sensitive devices were fabricated by a solid reaction method, and their electrical properties were investigated. The specimens exhibited good humidity sensitivity, in which the impedance changes linearly. It is shown that electrical conduction with moisture adsorption is dominated by the ions through characteristics of charging and discharing current, and electrical conductivity incresaes as rasing the temperature and relative humidity. It is realized that relative permittivity increases and activation energy decreases with increasing relative humidity.

$CaTiO_3$ thin films using silk screen printing technology were fabricated and their humidity sensitive characteristics have been investigated. The specimens were sintered at $1000^{\circ}C$, $1050^{\circ}C$, $1100^{\circ}C$ for 1 hour and the best humidity sensitivity was shown in the specimens sintered at $1000^{\circ}C$. The humidity sensitivity decreased with increasing measuring frequencies and was stable at different abient temperatures. Hysteresis of impedance variation with increasing and decreasing relative humidity were negligible.

The humidity sensitivity of Nb_(2)O_(5)-doped PZT has been investigated. The humidity sensitivity is largely influenced by the microstructure, and the best sensitivity can be observed in samples of PZT+3% Nb_(2)O_(5) with the highest porosity. The resistance decreases as the relative humidity increases, but the capacitance increases. Also, the capacitance is influenced by the frequency.

고상반응법을 이용하여 CaZrO3 습도센서를 제작하였으며 그의 감습특성에 대하여 연구하였다. 습도센서의 임피던스는 상대습도가 증가함에 따라 감소하며 감습도는 주파수에 의존하였다. 센서의 감습도는 열처리에 안정되고 흡습 탈습에 따른 히스테리시스 현상이 거의 나타나지 않았으며 전기전도 활성화에너지는 흡습에 따라 감소하였다. CaZrO3 humidity sensors were prepared using the solid-state synthetic method and their humidity sensitive characteristics have been investigated. It was found that the impedance of the humidity sensors decreased with increasing relative humidity and the humidity sensitivity depended on the applied frequencies. The sensitivity of sensor is stable with heat treatment and a negligible hysteresis under cyclic humidity changes is shown, and the activation energy for electrical conduction is reduced with water adsorption.

에칭법을 이용하여 광섬유 굴절율 센서를 제작하였으며 그의 굴절율 특성을 연구하였다. 굴절율 1.453-1.46 영역에서 우수한 감도를 나타내었으며 측정파장에 의해 동작점이 이동돼었다. 클래딩 두께가 감소할 수록 센서의 감도가 증가하였으며, 감도는 열에 안정된 특성을 나타내었다. 그리고 굴절율의 증감에 따른 히스테리시스가 거의 나타나지 않았다. The optical fiber refractive index sensors were fabricated using etching method and their refractive index characteristics have been investigated. Good sensitivity was shown at the region of 1.452-1.46 refractive index and operating point was shifted by wavelength. The sensitivity of sensor increased with decreasing cladding thickness and was stable with heat treatment. The hysteresis under cyclic refractive index changes was negligible.
