In order to clarify the marine invertebrates fauna inhabiting in Muan tidal flat, samples were collected from five stations during the periods from July 22, 2006 to October 1, 2006. In this study, invertebrates fauna identified and classified were 92 species. Among them, Mollusca 49 species(53.3%), Crustacea 43 species(46.7%), respectively. Mollusca appeared Gastropoda 30 species, Pelecypoda 16 species, Polyplacophora 3 species, respectively. Crustacea appeared Bachyura 27 species, Macrura 11 species, Anomura 5 species, respectively. Mollusca by stations, 24 species at station 1, 16 species at station 2, 11 species at station 3, 26 species at station 4, 35 species at station 5, respectively. Species diversity of Mollusca was highest at station 5 and lowest at station 3. Crustacea by stations, 30 species at station 1, 20 species at station 2, 25 species at station 3, 21 species at station 4, 25 species at station 5, respectively. Species diversity of Crustacea was highest at station 1 and lowest at station 2.

In order to clarify the species composition of freshwater zooplankton community inhabiting Lake Sochonji and chonji on the top of Mt. Paektu, the present study have been carried out based on the materials collected during the periods from 24 to 25 July, 1997. As a result of examing the specimens, from the Lake Chonji, a total of 10 species (Keratella cochlearis cochlearis, K. quadrata quadrata, K. valga valga, Notholca squmula squmula, Colurella adriatica adriatica, Lepadella patella patella, Lecane hua luna, L. (Monostyla) bulla bulla, Cephalodella gibba gibba, philodina roseola) appeared rotifers only. >From the lake Sochonji, a total of 7 species were identified. It consists of 3 species (Keratella valga valga, Cephalodella gibba gibba, Asplanchna (Asplanchnella) brightwelli) of rotifers, 2 species (Daphnia hyalina, Alona quadrangularis) of cladocerans, and 2 species (Acanthodiaptomus pacificus, Bryocamptus zschokkei caucassicus) of copepods, respectively. Also, appeared nauplius of copepoda.
강진만 일대 해산 동물플랑크톤 군집의 종조성과 계절적 변동

A survey was carried out four times(March, May, August, November) at 7 stations during the period from March to November 2012 in Gangjin Bay, Korea. The total number of zooplankton species identified in this study was 29 species in 13 families. Among them 19 species of Protozoa(65.51%), 5 species of Rotifera(17.24%), 5 species of Arthropoda(17.24%) appeared, respectively. Monthly, 13 species in March, 11 species in May, 18 species in August, 13 species in November appeared, respectively. By stations ranged from 3 species(station 7 in March, station 1 in May) to 14 species(station 5 and 6 in August). A total biomass of zooplankton community ranged from 1,953 individuals/㎥(station 1 in November) to 59,023 individuals/㎥(station 4 in August). Dominance index ranged from 0.31(station 6 in August) to 0.86(station 5 in March). Diversity index ranged from 1.37(station 1 in May) to 3.52(station 6 in August).

In order to clarify the freshwater rotifers fauna inhabiting Lake Kwangju in Damyang-gun chollanam-do, korea, the present study has been carried out monthly at three stations during the period from March, 1997 to December, 1997. As a results, a total of 23 species were identified and classified. Among them, monogonont rotifers in 22 species (95.7%), digonont rotifers in 1 species (4.3%) were identified, respectively.
담양호의 (潭陽湖) 동물플랑크톤 륜충류에 (輪蟲類) 대한 생태학적 연구

In order to clarify the ecological characteristics of freshwater zooplanktonic rotifers, the present study was carried out monthly during the period from March, 1987 to February, 1988 at four selected stations in Lake Damyang, Korea. The results were as follows. The rotifers were identified and classified as 1 Class, 1 Order, 5 Families, 1 Subfamily, 5 Genera, 7 Species. Keratella cochlearis, K. valga, Trichocerca longiseta, T. scipio, Asplanchna priodonta, Polyarthra trigla, Conochilus hippocrepis. Seasonal occurrence of freshwater zooplanktonic rotifers appeared as follows; Three species appeared in Spring, six species in Summer, seven species in Autumn and four species in Winter, respectively. Monthly distribution of the rotifers fluctuated as follows; Keratella cochlearis occurred continuously except May and August, K. valga in October only, Trichocerca longiseta from July to December, T. scipio from July to October, Asplanchna priodonta continuously except February and March, Polyarthra trigla during the investigation period continuously, Conochilus hippocrepis from August to October, respectively. Throughout the investigation period, total biomass of the rotifers by month ranged from 8,815 (March) to 1,435,208 indiv./㎥ (June) and total biomass by station ranged from 1,763 (station 3, March) to 405, 529 indiv./㎥ (station 3, June). The fluctuation of biomass by species ranged from 1,763 to 335,000 indiv./㎥.
