      • XML 기반의 문서통합 시스템 설계

        국내외적으로 정보통신망의 구축이 활발히 진행됨에 따라 이를 이용하여 개인이나 기업과 기관에서 업무의 효율성을 높이기 위하여 전자적으로 문서를 교환하여야 할 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 XML기반으로 문서를 통합하는 시스템을 설계하였다. 문서를 개인별로 산출물을 작성하는 문서의 경우 개별적으로 작성한 후 작성된 파일을 종합하여 하나의 문서로 통합하는 작업을 거치게 된다. 이러한 수동적인 방법을 컴퓨터 시스템을 이용하여 통합하는 과정을 자동화하고 자 한다. 본 논문에서는 내용과 관련된 태그를 직접 만들 수 있고, XML 문서들을 하나의 큰 문서로 병합할 수 있으며, 어떠한 종류의 응용프로그램과도 통합될 수 있는 범용적 데이터베이스라고도 할 수 있는 XML의 특성을 이용하여 좀 더 확장성이 좋아지게 하였다.

        Influences of somatic donor cell sex on in vitro and in vivo embryo development following somatic cell nuclear transfer in pigs

        Objective: The present study investigates pre- and post-implantation developmental competence of nuclear-transferred porcine embryos derived from male and female fetal fibroblasts. Methods: Male and female fetal fibroblasts were transferred to in vitro-matured enucleated oocytes and in vitro and in vivo developmental competence of reconstructed embryos was investigated. And, a total of 6,789 female fibroblast nuclear-transferred embryos were surgically transferred into 41 surrogate gilts and 4,746 male fibroblast nuclear-transferred embryos were surgically transferred into 25 surrogate gilts. Results: The competence to develop into blastocysts was not significantly different between the sexes. The mean cell number of female and male cloned blastocysts obtained by in vivo culture (143.8±10.5 to 159.2±14.8) was higher than that of in vitro culture of somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) groups (31.4±8.3 to 33.4±11.1). After embryo transfer, 5 pregnant gilts from each treatment delivered 15 female and 22 male piglets. The average birth weight of the cloned piglets, gestation length, and the postnatal survival rates were not significantly different (p<0.05) between sexes. Conclusion: The present study found that the sex difference of the nuclear donor does not affect the developmental rate of porcine SCNT embryos. Furthermore, postnatal survivability of the cloned piglets was not affected by the sex of the donor cell.

        Analysis of Emetic TOXIN Production by Bacillus Species Using Cellular Cytotoxicity, Molecular, and Chromatographic Assays

        In this study, we analyzed production of theemetic toxin, cereulide, in 30 Bacillus strains by using acellular cytotoxicity (3-(4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2, 5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide; MTT) assay, polymerase chainreaction (PCR), and micellar electrokinetic chromatographycapillaryelectrophoresis (MEKC-CE) analysis. The Bacilluscereus emetic strains produced 60 ~ 227 μg/mL ofcereulide when analyzed using MEKC-CE. Some otherBacillus species, including B. subtilis, B. pumilus, andB. megaterium, produced putative cereulide at levelssimilar to those produced by emetic B. cereus, whereasB. mycoides and B. thuringiensis did not produce theputative toxin or produced it at a concentration less than2 μg/mL. Only B. cereus emetic strains were found to betoxic to bovine fibroblast cells, with the exception of oneBacillus diarrheal strain. The PCR results correlated withthe MTT assay results, except in the case of one B. cereusdiarrheal strain. This strain may produce either unusuallyheat-stable enterotoxins or is a co-producer of emetic anddiarrheal toxins. Collectively, our results indicate thatseveral Bacillus species produce toxin(s) with structuresand properties similar to those of cereulide.

        초음파상을 이용한 제주마의 난소, 난포 및 황체의 크기 측정

        본 연구는 도축된 제주마의 난소를 이용하여 초음파 유도난포란 채취 기술을 확립하고자 난소, 난포 및 황체의 크기를 초음파상과 육안적 측정치를 비교하고자 하였다. 초음파상 측정치와 caliper를 이용한 실제 크기의 측정치 비교에서는 통계학적 차이는 보이지 않았다. 배란 직전의 난포를 조사한 결과, 초음파상에서 관찰한 것은 난소 한 개 당 평균 0.83개와 평균 크기는 2.86 m였으며, 육안으로 관찰된 것은 난소 한 개 당 평균 0.75개와 평균 크기는 The purpose of the present study was to set up basic information of size and status of ovaries by using ultrasonography to retrieve in vivo matured oocytes with ovum pick- up method. Ovaries were collected from the abattoir in Jeju in May and June which is breeding season. When the size of ovaries on ultrasonography was compared with real size measured by caliper, no significant difference was shown (p<0.05). The number of preovulatory follicles (>21mm) was investigated with ultrasonography and naked eyes. Ultrasonography group had 0.83 preovulatory follicles per ovary and naked-eye group had 0.75 preovulatory follicle per ovary and their average size was 2.86 cm and 2.34 cm, respectively. The average number of follicle was 4.25 with ultrasonography and 4.38 with naked eyes. There was no significant difference considering the size of follicle and number of follicle between ultrasonography and actual size except for the size of preovulatory follicle, suggesting that information of ultrasonography is able to use for OPU or other reproductive technology of mare.

        Potential Application of Genetically Identical Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer-cloned Dogs for Gastrointestinal Microbiota Analysis

        This study investigated the gastrointestinal microbiota in three genetically identical cloned dogs (A, B and C) by somatic cell nuclear transfer. We collected feces from three cloned dogs and their feed to investigate gastrointestinal microbiota using both culture-dependent and culture-independent methods. A total of 962 strains from the feces of cloned dogs were isolated using aerobic and anaerobic culture methods. The dominant microorganisms were Enterococcus faecalis and Enterococcus faecium in all fecal samples. In particular, the fecal sample from cloned dog C had similar proportions of three species (E. faecalis, E. faecium and Lactobacillus murinus). In all, 29 DNA fragments were identified by PCR-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE) analysis. The highest DGGE band intensities were for E. faecalis from cloned dogs A and C and for Clostridium sordellii from cloned dog B, with relative intensities of 15.2, 17.7 and 14.4%, respectively. The other strains identified from the cloned dogs were Chryseobacterium soldanellicola, Escherichia coli, L. murinus, Streptococcus alactolyticus, Weissella confusa and uncultured bacterium. Some microbes isolated from the fecal samples, including C. soldanellicola and W. confuse, were derived from the feed. Overall, gastrointestinal microbiota of all genetically identical cloned dogs, maintained under the same environmental and feeding conditions, showed similar profiles in terms of species diversity analyzed by PCR-DGGE, although there were proportional differences in the amounts of bacterial species. To our knowledge, this is the first report to investigate and compare gastrointestinal microbiota of three genetically identical dogs.

        웹서비스는 표준 프로토콜인 HTTP를 이용하기 때문에 방화벽의 제약이 없어서 어디서나 실시간으로 통신하여야 하는 모니터링 시스템 특성상 꼭 필요한 기술이다. 또한, XML로 기술된 SOAP 메시지는 플랫폼 독립적이고, 시스템 확장과 통합에 유리하다. 본 논문에서 구현한 웹모니터링 시스템은 웹서비스를 이용하여 설치가 용이하고, 인터넷을 통해 원격지의 태양광 발전 시스템을 관리, 감시하는데 제약이 없으며, 신재생에너지 산업 통합에 적용될 수 있다.

        식도정맥류의 내시경적 결찰술 전후의 하부 식도 내압 검사의 변화

        N/A Objectives: Endoscopic injection sclerotherapy is one of the effective therapeutic modalities for treating acutely bleeding esophageal varices. However, there are a number of complications and one of them is the changes in lower esophageal motility. A recently developed method that uses small rubber bands for treating bleeding varices, endoscopic variceal ligation (EVL), may change the lower esophageal motility. This study was designed for investigating the effects on lower esophageal motility in paients with esophageal varices before and after EUL. Methods: We prospectively performed lower esophageal manometry(using 8 lumen ESMR catheter, Arndorf, Medical Specialities Inc. in 20 patients with esophageal varices to investigate the length, pressure, relaxation percent, relaxation duration of lower esophageal sphincter(LES) and the speed of peristaltic wave, contraction amplitude, contraction duration in the lower esophagus before and after EVL therapy. EVL was performed with a Pentax EG2900 fiberoptic endoscope and Stiegmann-Goffligator kit. Results: There were noted mild epigastric discomfort, nausea, chest discomfort and sinus bradycardia during and after EVL that were improved spontaneously. The EVL caused considerable diminution in the size of esophageal varix by mean 8.7(range 3-21) ligations in mean 1.8(range 1-3) sessions. LES length after EVL was 3.7±0.8cm vs 3.7±0.7cm before treatment. LES pressure after EVL was 13.1±3.9mmHg vs 12.7±6.9mmHg before treatment. LES relaxation percent after EUL was 90.5±9.6 % vs 87.8±8.1% before treatment. LES relaxation duration after EVL was 9.1±1.8sec vs 9.5±2.1 before treatment. In the lower esophagus 3cm above LES, the speed of peristaltic waves after EVL was 3.46±0.8lcm/sec us 3.1±0.8cm/sec before treatment, contraction amplitude after EVL was 87.9±44.2 vs 73.0±39.8mmHg before treatment and contraction duration after EVL was 3.3±0.5 sec vs 2.7±0.5 sec before treatment. There were no significant changes in the length, pressure, relaxation percent and duration of the lower esophageal sphincter(LES) and in the speed of peristaltic wave in the lower esophagus after EVL. There were significant differences in the contraction amplitude and duration in the lower esophagus after EVL. Conclusion: Variceal ligation therapy may improve esophageal peristalsis due to increase in the contraction amplitude and duration in the lower esophagus and cause lesser motility dysfunction in the lower esophagus. In conclusion, EVL is a safe, easy and effective therapeutic modality in patients with esophageal varices.

        고차 모드 주파수 특성 제어 다중 대역 안테나

        본 논문에서는 모노폴 안테나의 각 모드별 전계 분포를 분석하여 전류가 상대적으로 약한 부분(전계가 강한 부분)에 스터브를 이용해 기본 공진 모드에는 영향을 주지 않으면서 안테나의 하모닉 성분인 3차 모드 공진주파수를 효율적으로 제어하고, 스터브의 두께를 조절하여 임피던스 특성을 조절할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법을 이용하여 일반적인 USB Dongle 크기(20×45 ㎜)에 안테나를 설계하였으며, ?10 ㏈ 기준 2 ㎓ 대역에서 대역폭이 600 ㎒(2.3~3 ㎓), 5 ㎓ 대역의 대역폭은 1 ㎓(4.9~5.9 ㎓)로 WLAN 주파수 대역을 만족하는 성능과 50 % 효율이 달성되었다. This paper presents a new method for designing a dual-band WIFI antenna using the third-order harmonic mode of a monopole antenna whose first-order mode operates at the low frequency band of WIFI. As analysing the current distribution of the third-order mode of this monopole antenna, the strongest point of electric field can be found. Then by attaching a stub at this point, the resonant frequency of the stub radiator can be adjusted from the third-order mode of the monopole antenna into the high frequency band of WIFI and the input impedance at this resonant frequency can be controlled with the width of the branch, without affecting the low frequency band of WIFI (the first-order mode of the monopole antenna). The compact dual-band antenna is designed at the size of an USB(universal serial bus) dongle and the bandwidth covers 600 ㎒(2.3~3 ㎓) at 2 ㎓ and 1 ㎓(4.9~5.9 ㎓) at 5 ㎓ under ?10 ㏈ which is satisfied with WLAN frequency. Efficiency of proposed antenna achieves over 50 % at WLAN frequency.
