In the paper, a radar system adopting a time-domain analysis is proposed to solve the problem of rough measurements caused by insufficient samples for an FFT analysis. In addition, the method for eliminating interference that is generated under the indoor environments is also presented. In the simulation, this paper compares the proposed algorithm to an existing radar system. The proposed method showed 94% hardware complexity reduction at a modulation bandwidth of 10 MHz. Also, it showed a performance improvement of 78.3% in terms of the error of estimated distance from the target.
