LR(1) grammars are useful syntactic descriptors for programming languages because they combine two important features. They are processing efficiency and wide applicability. The union sheme developed in this thesis reduces the computation required to generate an LR(1) parsing table and reduces table size that would have been produced if the Knuth algorithm were applied directly. Morever the merits of Knuth algorithm would not be diminished by this union scheme. This union scheme can be used in conjunction with the Korenjaks partitioning scheme when generating the individual LR(1) parser for each subgrammar of a given grammer
There has been a movement to adopt satellite communication network to replace the current earth mobile network in order to provide advanced communication system. In previous researches, the capacity of channel within the cell has been determined by numbers of terminals no matter what the density either the distribution of the terminals are. The work described in this paper is firstly aimed at analyzing C/I differences and changes within the same cell and other cell with various densities of terminals under a satellite in a low orbit. With this research, this paper is consequently aimed to provide an algorithm which can help enhancing the efficiency of satellite communication network by applying the analyzed data.
The growth of the internet in the past few years has led to network congestion and server overloading. Use of proxy cache solve this problem. Despite success of proxy cache in the internet, proxy cache is not efficient for multimedia stream such as video and audio. In this paper, we propose a new proxy cache policy and a efficient cache replacement algorithm for multimedia stream. We expect that a new proxy cache policy is efficient for multimedia stream.
This paper shows a design of the VLSI Hardware Description Language(called INCL) intended for the easy VLSI design using a high level language. Most of this language features follow the ICL features as a predecessor language and includes the Syntax and concepts of PASCAL language. It is implemented in IBM PC/AT systems with - Auto CAD system. This INCL System generates a symbolic layout corresponding to the descriptions of the logic circuit described using this INCL language.
In the course of Internet proliferation, many network-related technologies are examined for possible growth and evolution. The use of Internet-based technologies in private networks has further fuelled the demand for network-based applications. The most promising among the new paradigms is use of mobile agents. The mobile agent is capable of migrating autonomously from node to node in the network, to perform some computation on behalf of the user. The mobile agent paradigm is attractive alternative to traditional client-server programming for a significant class of network-centric applications. It also however, suffers from a major drawback, namely, the potential for malicious attacks, abuse of resources pilfering of information, and other security issues. These issues are significantly hampering the acceptance of the mobile-agent paradigm. This paper describe the design & implementation of secure mobile agent gateway that split and merge the agent code with security policy database. This mechanism will promote the security in mobile agent systems and mobile agent itself.
