“つきあたり” “さき”의 공간인지에 있어서의 고찰 -”막다른 길” “앞”과의 비교를 통하여-

Longitudinal examination was carried out from early May of 2014 to early June. Subjects are 31 female college students who, mainly 2nd graders,learn primaryJapanese conversation. They belong to Japanese department of a women”s Universityin Seoul. Subjects described explanation ofthe way to the destination three times by usingthe same map, first in Korean, next in Japanese, finally again in Korean. The authoranalysed the frame of reference, reflection analysis and translation analysis whichsubjects used. As a result, 25 subjects(80.6%) used “tsukiatari”, and 17 subjects(54.8%) used “saki”in Japanese. In the Korean second timed data, 15 subjects(48.4%) used “makdareungil/got” which did not appear at all in the Korean first timed data. Translation analysis “ap” newly appeared in the Korean second timed data,reflection analysis “dwi” slightly increased, and “jinamyeon” newly appeared in theKorean second timed data. It seemed that space cognition in Japanese language, namely, frame of reference,and translation and reflection analysis, in some degree, influenced Korean languagespatial expressions which subjects used in Korean second timed data, and thattherefore some change appeared. As an applicable possibility of Japanese language education, the author proposedthe importance of description of landmarks, understanding of translation andreflection analysis, and conscious comparison between analyses of Japaneselanguageand those of Korean language.
