Ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic drug. has several limitations in clinical application because of low solubility in water and gastrointestinal irritation. Effect of ibuprofen/2-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HPβCD) inclusion compound on release of suppository was investigated. Complex formation was confirmed by ¹H- and ^(13)C-NMR spectroscopy. The release of ibuprofen from suppository base in vitro was significantly increased by the complexation with HPβCD. The release of ibuprofen from hydrophilic base was faster than that from hydrophobic base. In vivo studies, the release rate of ibuprofen from suppository was accelerated after rectal administration in complex form. This results suggested that ibuprofen/HPβCD complex can be practically used for suppository to have faster effect of ibuprofen with reduced side effect.

To make a stable o/w emulsion. the effects of egg lecithin as an emulsifier and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as an auxiliary emulsifier on the physical stability of emulsion wale investigated. The oil-in-water emulsion system was manufactured by microfluidizer and evaluated the physical stability. Average particle size and size distribution of emulsion was measured by dynamic light scattering analyzer and interfacial tension was measured. From the interfacial tension tested. critical micelle concentration of the egg lecithin was 0.1 %w/v and optimal concentration for the preparation of emulsion was 1.0 %w/v. The mean particle size was about 0.2 μm which was suitable for injections. The short-teem accelerated stability studies were conducted by centrifugation, freeze-thaw method and shaking of the emulsion samples. The addition of PVP was caused the reduction in the particle size and improved the physical stability of emulsion. These results suggested that a mixed interfacial film comprising the egg lecithin and PVP was formed at the o/w interface and it was effective in preventing phase separation under thermic or mechanical stress. We used antineoplaston A10 (A10) as a model drug which is peptide and amino acid derivative having a action to the living organism against the development of neoplastic growth by a nonimmunological progress. It has a poor solubility in water and there may be a difficulty in formulation of A10. Emulsion formulation study about A10 was performed. Solubility of A10 in emulsion was about five times as high as that in water. From the results of solubility and partition coefficient. almost A10 molecules in o/w emulsion east in the interface between oil and water.

W/O and O/W emulsions of tegafur (50 ㎎/5 ㎖/㎏) were orally administered to rats to compare with their mesenteric lymphatic delivery effects. And also in order to demonstrate the lymph targeting associated to the oral route, it was deemed necessary to investigate the fate of solution after oral administration as a control. Lymph and plasma samples were periodically taken from each subject of mesenteric lymphatic duct cannulated rats. Then, lymph and plasma levels of tegafur and its active metabolite, 5-FU, were simultaneously observed. Also pharmacokinetic parameters were compared with each others. On the other hand, most previous studies of lymphatic transport have not addressed the question of whether an increase in mesenteric or thoracic lymph transport by the manipulation of a suspected variable was due to a selective delivery to the intestinal lymphatics or an overall increase availability. Therefore, based on a physiologically based pharmacokinetic model which represents the characteristics of lymphatic systems, we are also going to determine the contributions of mesenteric lymph transport versus thoracic lymph transport of tegafur reported in reference(13). In comparison with tegafur solution, AUC and mean residence time of plasma tegafur were significantly increased in W/O emulsion but significantly decreased in O/W emulsion. Lymph flow rates were similar in both solution and W/O emulsion but half in O/W emulsion. AUC of tegafur in mesenteric lymph and in plasma for W/O emulsion were 3.7 times and 2.9 times more than those for O/W emulsion, respectively. And AUC of 5-FU in thoracic lymph for W/O emulsion was 3.7 times more than that for O/W emulsion. These results suggested that lymphatic delivery of tegafur by W/O emulsion was more effective than that by O/W emulsion due to its differences of formation ability of chylomicrons.
과학사를 활용한 수업이 초등학생들의 연소에 대한 오개념 교정과 학업성취도에 미치는 효과

본 연구의 목적은 연소에 대한 과학사 학습 자료를 개발하여 과학사를 활용한 수업이 오개념 교정과 학업 성취도 향상에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 있다. 본 연구는 B 광역시 S 초등학교 6학년 2개 학급 중, 1개 학습을 실험반(28명)으로 다른 1개 학급을 비교반(27명)으로 선정하였다. 본 연구의 주요 검사 도구는 오개념 검사와 학업 성취도 검사이다. 오개념 검사는 문미정(2008)이 개발한 검사지로 연소 관련 3개 영역에 걸쳐 15문항을 객관식 5지 선다형 13문항과 서술형 2문항으로 개발된 검사지를 사전-사후에 동일하게 사용하였다. 학업 성취도 검사는 서울 교육청과 부산 교육청 개발 자료, 국가 수준학업 성취도 평가 문항, 교원대 평가 문항 자료에서 10문항을 선별하여 과학교육 전문가 집단에서 내용 타당도 검증을 거쳐 수정∙보완하여 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결론는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 과학사를 활용한 과학 수업은 초등학생의 오개념 교정에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 수준별 집단을 세분화하여 분석한 결과 하위 집단은 오개념 교정에 효과적이었으나, 상위 집단과 중위 집단 학생들의 오개념 교정에는 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 셋째, 과학사를 활용한 과학 수업은 초등학생의 학업 성취도 향상에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 주었다
