프로그래밍 언어에 익숙하지 않은 초보자가 특정 언어의 구문을 쉽게 익힐 수 있도록 도와주는 에디터의 개발은, 날로 증가하는 프로그래머의 수요를 감안할 때 중요한 의의를 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 프로그램의 내부표현인 abstract syntax tree를 중심으로 밀접하게 결합된 도구를 포함하는 구조 중심형 프로그래밍 환경에서 사용 가능한 교육용 에디터의 설계 및 구현에 관하여 논의한다. 구조 중심형 프로그래밍 환경에서 사용자와의 인터페이스를 담당하는 에디터를 설계함에 있어 새로운 도구의 추가로 인한 기능 확장이 용이하도록 고려하였으며, 사용자가 초보자임을 고려하여 에디팅 명령어의 customization이 가능하도록 하였다. 또한 에디터의 구현시 수행상의 효율성을 강조하였다.

In order to confirm the reduction of vat dyes used in the experiments the leuco potential of each vat dye was measured and the minimum amounts of alkali and reducing agent needed for complete reduction of vat dyes were determined. In addition, the rate of the reduction of vat dyes was measured in various dye bath conditions and the levelling property of vat dyes on cotton in the early stage of dyeing was investigated. It is concluded that both the degree of aggregation of a vat dye and the amount of a reducing agent added in dyebath influence the rate of the reduction of vat dye which have close relation-ship with the levelling property of a vat dye on cotton fabric.

In AND parallelism, all the links connecting literals in a clause are resolved concurrently. The most general unifiers of all links connected to literals in a clause are obtained first. All the unification can be done in parallel. Obtaining the resolvent using the solution unifier is merely a trivial substitution. The difficult step in AND parallelism is to find all solution unifiers from the given set of mgu's. We can obtain all solution unifiers by getting all combinations of mgu's and checking for consistency and obtaining the solution unifiers for all consistent combinations. Checking for consistency and obtaining a solution unifier for a combination can be achieved by solving multisubstitutons (or multiequations), However, this method is inefficient because it wastes so much time to find solution unifiers of combinations of mgu's which have no solution unifier. We propose an improved algorithm for calculating all solution unifiers of a clause. Our approach is based on the pairwise consistent relation which is similar to the pairwise strongly compatible relation used in subsumption test. For efficient pairwise consistent test, we define the consistent list of mgu's and, by using this lists and appropriate bit operations, we single out unnecessary mgu's and reduce possible combinations of mgu's which have no solution unifier. Furthermore, we provide a new method for consistency test in function-free domain, in which it is not needed to calculate a solution unifier of two unifiers to check for consistency. We also show that a solution unifier of a set of mgu's in function-free domain can be obtained by simple transformation, not by solving multisubstitutions.

수치제어(NC)용 기계를 위한 프로그래밍을 작성하는 것은 상당한 시간과 계산의 정밀을 요하는 작업이다. 이러한 계산및 프로그램 작성을 자동적으로 수행할 수 있는 NC 언어 중의 하나가 APT이다. APT를 이용한 시스템에서 설계자의 설계도를 받아 프로그램 작성시 여러가지 문제점 중 과거에 작성한 NC 프로그램을 참조할 수 있는 기능, 과거에 작성한 프로그램의 일부를 복사 사용할 수 있는 기능, NC프로그램의 문법적인 오류를 검출할 수 있는 기능이 미약하거나 없다. 이러한 기능을 갖춘 편집기를 본 논문에서 설계및 구현하여 보다 정확하고 편리하게 NC프로그램을 작성할 수 있도록하였다.

분산체제가 증가함에 따라 자원 공유의 문제는 중요한 연구과제가 되었다. 이에 따라 자원공유를 위한 분산 운영 체제의 한 부분인 Resource Sharing System을 본 논문에서 설계했다. 분산체제 환경에서의 Resource Sharing System은 하아드웨어, 소프트웨어, 데이타, 서어비스 등의 여러종 종류의 자원을 경영하는데 이러한 자원의 공유를 위해서 Resource Sharing System의 여러 기능의 Server를 설계했다. Resource Sharing System은 사용자에게 유용한 정보의 교환, load의 분산, 병렬계산의 작업 환경을 제공해 준다. As distributed systems proliferate, the resource sharing problems become the major research issue. To facilitate efficient resource sharing in networks, a distributed operating system component which is called the Resource Sharing System is designed in this paper. The Resource Sharing System in distributed system environments manages various types of resources including hardwares, softwares, data, and services. We designed several servers of the Resource Sharing System for the resource sharing of distributed systems. The Resource Sharing System permits a user to work with the environment which supports efficient information exchange, load distribution, and computational parallelism.

분산 기억장치 다중처리기상의 Boltzmann Machine의 병렬계산

In this paper we persent an efficient way to implement a Boltzmann Machine on a distributed memory multiprocessors(DMM) for solving combinatorial optimization problems. In this mapping scheme, the neurons in the Boltzmann Machine are Partitioned into P disjoint sets, and each set is mapped on a processor system. A parallel convergence and learning algorithms of Boltzmann Machine, communication pattern of the ? processors, and time complexities when neurons are partitioned and implemented the parallelisms. A theoretical p processor speed up of the parallelizing scheme over a single processor is analyzed and an experimental speed up is also presented to demonstrate the usefulness of our parallel implementation.

The most Korean character recognition systems based on HMM use the fixed number of states to model letters and use directional chain code as a feature. However, from our experiment, it is observed that these systems have two problems : one is that the recognition rate depends on the number of states, the other that the recognition rate is degraded for slantingly written characters. To handle the first problem, we propose a new training algorithm of HMM in which the number of states is automatically determined according to the characteristic of a letter. For the second problem, we propose new recognition algorithms based on the three types of fuzzified directional chain codes in which a code is represented by a vector whose i-th component is the degree of likeness between a pen direction and the i-th direction. From the experiment, it is observed that the new recognition algorithm improve the recognition rate by 24.6% than the recognition algorithms used in other systems.
