The objective of this study is to establish the basis of the future driving direction of facility investment plan by understanding the present position and its limitation of the theory in this field. We classify the procedure of plan establishment and the sorts of decision making techniques according to procedure by investigating the previous study of economical plan establishment of investment for facility, as well as comparing and analysing those contents.

In this paper considered is the provisioning quantity determination problem of repairable concurrent spare parts(CSP) of a new equipment system to maximize the operational availability under budget constraint and cannibalization allowed. When a part fails, repair of the failed part is possible and the part is replaced and cannibalization is allowed. The failure of a part is assumed to follow a Poisson process and the availability in CSP is defined. The solution procedure consists of two parts. Firstly, a mathematical model is developed under the assumption that the failure rate is constant during the CSP period. Secondly, proposed is a simulation search procedure which improves the heuristic solution to the near optimal solution in a reasonable amount of time.

In this paper we consider the CSP requirements determination problem of new equipment(machine) system. For the newly procured equipment systems, mathematical analyses are made for the system which is constructed with the consumable parts and the repairable parts to derive the associated CSP requirement determination model in mathematical expression. Based on these analyses, a mathematical model is derived for making an optimal CSP requirement determination subject to the constraint of satisfying any given operational availability limitation. We assume that the failure of a part follows a Poisson process and the repair time has an exponential distribution. Firstly, the operational availability concept in CSP is defined and the relation between the general system availability and the operational availability is established. Secondly, the problem is formulated as the cost minimization problem that should satisfy the operational availability limitation, and then, using the generalized Lagrange multipliers method, the optimal solution procedure is derived.

We assume that the failure of a part follows a Poisson process. Firstly, the operational availability concept in CSP is defined and the relation between the general system availability and the operational availability is established. Secondly, the problems is formulated as the cost minimization problem that should satisfy the objectine operational availability, and then, using the generalized La-grange multipliers method, the optimal solution procedure is derived.

In this paper, the consumable concurrent spare parts requirement determination problem during a given time interval is considered. The problem is formulated as the operational availability maximization problem with any given fund limitation. Assuming that the failure of a part follows a Poisson process, an analytical algorithm is developed to obtain the optimal spare part requirements using the generalized Lagrange multipliers method.

In this paper accelerated life test was studied by applying high temperature stress to UV-A LED. But because it was found that failures did not occur under all stress conditions, a linear model was used to estimate the failure times, and the accelerated life test was performed assuming that the life-stress relation follows the Arrehenius model. The results of this study are suitable for a life of UV-A LED from a specific company. UV-A LED developed by other companies are not necessarily linear model for degradation analysis.

The concurrent spare part we deal with in the paper are restricted to the demand-based parts. A mathematical model is derived for making an concurrent spare part requirement determination subject to be constraint of satisfying any given operational availability imitation. We assume that the failure of a part follows a Poisson process and the repair time has an exponential distribution. Using the generalized Lagrange multipliers method, the solution procedure is derived.
UV-A LED의 제품 특성에 따른 제품 열화 영향성 분석 및 가속수명시험법 제안

In this paper, the acceleration of the UV-A LED under development is studied. The Taguchi method was used to select four samples for temperature acceleration testing on UV-A LEDs and to verify the correlation between product characteristics (maximum wavelength, current) and lifetime through multivariate analysis. As a result, the wavelength at 500 mA has been found to affect the lifetime of the product, which is expected to affect UV-B and UV-C LEDs with higher wavelength energy than UV-A LEDs.

The existance of steady-state probability distribution for a specific infinite state Markov chain which is often appeared in the application area of queueing theory is proved. The explicit expression of steady-state probability distribution for this Markov chain is derived in the process of proof.
