As subjects of university soccer players, to examine kinetic variables of body segments on impact in impact shoot from the goal forward to the right corner in soccer, the result of analysis by using three dimensional cinematographic equipment and force-platform is as follows. 1. The taking time to the impact point in shoot motion represented 0.09 second. 2. The distance between the support foot and the ball in impact for the X and Y axes presented 0.445m and 0.140m, respectively. 3. The degree of angle for the shoulder rotation, upper back and forth slope, trunk side slope, hip rotation, hip slope, hip-,joint, and knee-joint in impact were 29.22。 , 5.15。 , 5.73。 , 9.74。 , 14.32。 , 126.63。 and 135.80。 , respectively. 4. The velocity for the C.O.G, hip-joint, knee-joint, and ankle-joint in impact were 3.83m/s. 3.llm/s. 6.16m/s and 13.34m/s, respectively. Immediately after the impact, the maximum ball velocity was 24.03m/s. 5. The C.O.G displacement for the X, Y, and Z axis in impact represented 1.44m, 1.56m and 0.89m, respectively. 6. The absolute angular momentum of all over the body in impact was 8.99 kg m^2 /s. 7. The ground reaction force in impact for the left side ( Fx ) , back side ( Fy ) , and vertical side(Fz) acted -198.16N,-552.48N, and 1,581.76N, respectively.

The architecture interpenetrated by human being is based on everydayness, life and tradition which have been possessed by the consciousness of human from the past to the present diachronically. However, author-central and receiver-central works with ignoring that foundation cannot make the communication between the author and receiver because the former excludes the receiver and the latter does the intention of author. To transform the impossibility of communication to the possibility, contemporary architecture needs the preunderstanding text the communication field of author and receiver. Therefore I would find the direction of the contemporary architecture by making the communication of author and receiver thorough the 'text' that includes the preunderstanding which maintains the tension between the past and the present.
커버플레이트를 이용한 접이식 모듈러 접합부의 구조성능평가

본 연구에서는 보와 기둥이 분리되어 있는 폴더블 모듈의 접합을 위하여 커버플레이트를 개발하였으며, 이에 대한 구조성능평가를 수행하였다. 커버플레이트가 사용된 폴더블 모듈러 접합부의 비교 실험체로 용접 접합을 수행한 실험체를 추가적으로 제작하였다. 구조성능평가 결과, 용접 접합한 폴더블 모듈러 접합부의 경우 구조해석에서 실시한 강접합과 유사한 성능을 보여주었으나, 층간변위 3 %에서 용접 접합부에서 파단이 발생하였다. 커버플레이트를 사용한 폴더블 모듈러 접합부의 경우에는 비록 강성은 강접합에 비하여 50 % 정도 수준이었지만, 접합부의 파단 없이 매우 큰 연성능력을 보여주었다. In this paper, a cover plate was developed for a foldable modular connection where beams and columns are separated, and structural performance was evaluated. As a comparative test specimen of the foldable modular connection using a cover plate, an additional specimen with welded beam-to-column joints was manufactured. As a result of the structural performance evaluation, the welded foldable modular connection showed similar performance to the rigid joint conducted in the structural analysis, but fracture occurred at the welded joint at 3 % story drift ratio. In the case of a foldable modular connection using a cover plate, although the stiffness was about 50 % of that of a rigid joint, it showed very high ductility without fracture of the joint.

Architecture is based on everydayness, life and tradition that have been passed down unconsciously from the past. But both author-central and receiver-central works have ignored that basement. Because holding past-horizon excludes the receiver in the former and holding present-horizon does the intention of author in the latter. So communication between them is impossible. To make the communication possible, contemporary architecture needs to imply preunderstanding text, the communication field of author and receiver. Therefore, this paper searches the direction of contemporary architecture by making communication between author and receiver through the text involved preunderstanding which keeps tension between the past and the present.
Factors Influencing Body Image in the Aging Process

This study examined the personal and relational factors influencing the formation of body image among older persons.Aging-related physical changes, health, marital relationship,cognitive age, and mo ods were personal and relationship factors explained for influence on the body image of older persons. Data were collected via a mail survey of older married couples residing in three U.S. metropolitan areas of Florida. A total of 94 married couples who were 60 years older participated in this study. Results indicated that agingrelated physical changes, effect of physical changes on the self, self-assessed health, and evaluation of spouse’s attractiveness, and perceived attractiveness (one’s perception of the other spouse’s appraisals of his or her attractiveness) were found to be significantly related to the body image of older men and women. For men, self-assessed health, evaluation of spouse’s attractiveness, and perceived attractiveness were significantly related to body image while physical changes, effect of physical changes, and perceived attractiveness were found significant for women. The feelings of older persons about and satisfaction with their bodies and appearance were estimated by aging-related and relationship-related variables.
Cyclic Testing of Steel Column-Tree Moment Connections with Weakened Beam Splices

Traditionally, the beam splice assemblies of column-tree connections are designed according to the full-strength designprinciple. Actually, the beam splice is set up at a certain distance from the column face, thus the plastic moment capacity ofthe beam splice does not need to be greater than the plastic moment capacity of the beam. This paper experimentally presentsthe effects of the weakened beam splice on the seismic performance of column-tree steel moment connections. Cyclic tests oftwo column-tree connection specimens with weakened beam splices and one specimen following the full-strength designprinciple were conducted to verify their inelastic behavior and failure modes. The test results showed that the moment resistingcapacity of the column-tree connection specimens with weakened beam splices did not obviously decrease. Also, their energydissipation capacity was better than that of the specimen following the full-strength design principle.
