        As the land was the most influential factor in agrarian society, and as the capital was the most crucial factor in labor-industrial society, the very core element in this swiftly changing information-oriented society that rules the age is, needless to say, the knowledge and information. With this respect, no one can deny the simple and sure fact that the future railway age will be dominated by how well the players use the railway-related knowledge and information. We all recognize that most effective way of using information in IT society could be achieved with the application of web environment which allows information to be easily accessible and sharable. Meanwhile, along with the intellectual property right problem, the closed mind-set and attitude of the players to the information sharing matter is a major obstacle to the wide use of railway knowledge and information, diminishing synergy effects. In this study, the authors will review approaches of web-based application for the extended use of railway knowledge and information, ultimately aiming at contributing to development of railway industries.

        도시철도 콘크리트궤도의 구조 건전성 평가를 위한 매개변수 연구

        본 연구에서는 도시철도 콘크리트 궤도의 구조 건전성 평가를 위한 핵심 매개변수를 궤도지지강성과 궤도충격계수로 설정하고 콘크리트 궤도의 구조 건전성 및 내하력의 변화에 미치는 영향에 대한 매개변수 연구를 수행하였다. 또한 궤도 탄성재료가 고려된 궤도 해석모델을 이용한 수치해석을 수행하고 현장측정 결과와 비교·분석하여 내하율 및 보정계수를 산출하였다. 궤도구조의 구조적 건전성 평가를 위한 궤도지지강성 변화율 및 동적 윤중변동율을 기반으로 산출된 궤도충격계수를 분석하여 궤도보정계수를 산출하고 이를 궤도 내하력평가에 적용하였다. 연구결과, 공용중인 콘크리트 궤도의 궤도지지강성과 궤도충격계수는 궤도의 내하력에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 수 있는 것으로 나타나 콘크리트 궤도의 공용내하력 확보를 위해서는 적정 수준의 탄성수준의 확보와 레일표면품질관리가 중요한 것으로 분석되었다. In this study, the parameter for setting up the structural integrity evaluation and diagnosis system of concrete track structure on the serviced urban transit was produced by precision safety diagnosis system for civil structure. The finite element analysis was performed by FE model for concrete track with consideration for elastic materials of track components. The rating factor and the adjustment factor were investigated and comparing and analyzing with the result of field measurement. The track adjustment factor was investigated by analyzing the track impact factor based on variation of track support stiffness and dynamic wheel load fluctuation for structural integrity evaluation for track structure, and track adjustment factor was applied to the load carrying capacity evaluation for track structure. As a result of this study, the evaluation system of load carrying capacity and structural integrity for concrete track was proposed with consideration for the track condition of serviced urban transit.

      • 철도 자갈도상 궤도틀림의 줄맞춤을 위한 사장식(교차법) 적용사례

        철도의 자갈도상 궤도틀림은 열차운행과 환경적 요인으로 계속적인 틀림이 발생한다. 이러한 궤도틀림의 종류로는 궤간틀림, 줄틀림, 면틀림, 수평틀림, 평면성틀림으로 대별하여 유지관리하고 있다. 특히 줄틀림은 장기적인 운행과 함께 부분적인 변형이 아닌 넓은 구간에서의 줄틀림이 발생하는 경우가 많고, 이를 정정하는데에는 최초 건설 당시와 같이 측량에 의한 정밀정정에는 한계가 존재한다. 현장여건에게 정정하는 방법으로 곡선종거에 의한 사장식(교차법) 정정법이 존재하는데, 이를 적용한 사례를 소개하고자 한다. Track irregularities of a ballst bed track proceed continuously due to train service and environmental factors. Track irregularities can be categorized into gauge, lining, cross level and twist irregularity and maintained according to these classification. Among these irregularities, the irregularity of lining goes along not locally but widely due to a long-term operation. And the precision adjustment by measurements in construction phase is limited to adjust the irregularity of lining. There is a chord-to-rail methode (Transposition) by a curved-versine to adjust the irregularity of lining under the site condition. This paper introduce the case where the chord-to-rail method is applicated to adjust the irregularity of lining.

        The railway business was began at England in 1767. Since then it has been changed for configuration of rail over the years and made in the form of I. The train propulsion has been developed in a engine of steam diesel motor electromagnetic force and a pneumatic engine continuously. also the friction has been improved in a steel-wheel rubber tire frictionless maglev system and railless system. In consequence the efficiency and improvement speed for train have been accomplished. In this paper it is investigated for the structure with lightweight using the change for supporting the form of lateral pressure by centrifugal force in the substructure supporting load for railway vehicles

      • 국내 미래 경전철 개발을 위한 고찰 (A study on future developments of the domestic Light Rail Transit systems)

        Recently many disadvantageous problems have been found during the process of domestic LRT(Light Rail Transit) projects and that can influence negative effects on the development of domestic railway. Since many projects have been progressed while having few original technologies, it is no exaggeration to say that they are being built unreasonable railway which lacks economic feasibility. The on-going LRT projects which are being carried out by the central or local government have a tendency to favor the systems and rolling stocks that have been approved by other countries through years of experience, therefore it can be said that we are having few chances to develop original technologies. In this study, we would like to promote railway development and jump up to the level of advanced railway standards through developing our unique and independent future LRT technology.

      • 웹기반 철도지식정보 분류체계 수립에 관한 연구

        With the development of IT industry and formation of web-based knowledge sharing platform, a variety of railway-related information services on the web have emerged, ranging from personal blogs to dedicated portal sites, as in the other sectors. These services are contributing to advancing railway industry after all. As far as it is concerned with specific areas such as railway sector, the internet users are hardly expected to avail satisfactory results in acquiring customized information from the access, as the information served varies on the intension of the web site operator or relevant agency, and indexing categories and sub-categories is not easy to work out in a straight manner. This study will review on the feasibility of standardizing categories and sub-categories for railway industry information on the web, and present optimum categorization and sub-categorization approach for the most satisfactory results when searched, ultimately aiming at laying a foundation to satisfy the wide spectrum of users' need for railway information.

        신호-접지 교차구조를 이용한 소형화된 CPW 월킨슨 분배기 구조의 발룬

        본 논문에서는 소형화된 CPW(Coplanar Waveguide) 발룬을 제안한다. 제안된 발룬에는 신호선-접지선 교차구조가 CPW전송 선로의 중앙 신호선과 양쪽 접지면 사이에 존재하여 180도의 위상차를 만들어 준다 따라서 물리적 길이가 $3{\lambda}/4$인 전송 선로가 ${\lambda}/4$의 길이로 줄어들어도 전기적 길이는 270도를 유지하므로 회로의 소형화가 가능하다. 이것은 종래에 제안된 월킨슨 분배기 구조의 발룬이 월킨슨 분배기 구조를 구성하기 위하여 한쪽 단자 방향으로 $3{\lambda/4$ 길이의 전송 선로를 필요로 하였다는 사실과 비교될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 또한 CPW 선로의 신호선-접지선 교차 구조가 지니는 180도의 위상차를 측정으로 확인하고 그 결과를 함께 제시한다. In this paper, a novel sized-reduced CPW(Coplanar Waveguide) balun is proposed. It has a crossing structure between signal line and ground planes of CPW transmission line for the $180^{\circ}$ phase inversion. The$3{\lambda}/4$ CPW transmission line is reduced to ${\lambda}/4$ in physical length while the electrical length is preserved to $270^{\circ}$ by the $180^{\circ}$ phase inverting structure, while the previous balun by Lim et at. has a long $3{\lambda}/4$ transmission section to from the Wilkinson divider structure having out of phase between output ports. In addition, the measured data which show the crossing structure has the wanted $180^{\circ}$ phase change is presented in this work.

      • 자갈도상 급곡선(R=60m)부 정척레일 이음매부 유지관리 연구

        도시철도 건설 시 측선의 최소곡선반경 기준은 별도 규정이 없고 지자체장의 승인으로 설치되고 있다. 국내 도시철도 운영기관 중 최급곡선(R=60m)이 부설되어 운영중에 있고, 운용 중 이음매부의 계속적인 줄틀림 발생으로 유지관리에 어려움이 발생되어, 이를 해소하기 위한 방안으로 정척레일(20m) 이음매부 침목에 버팀재를 설치하여 레일 궤도선형을 유지하고자 한 연구 사례를 제시하고자 한다. When constructing the urban railway, there is no provision about the minimum radius of curve which is admitted by the chief of local government. Sharp curved(R=60m) track has been installed in domestic and operated by a urban railway corporation. It has raised a track alignment irregularity which made it hard to operate and maintain. This study aims to show example of experience which is for enforcing the intension of a lateral track force using a strut in rail joint.

      • 도시철도차량의 안전발판 시스템 적용에 관한 연구

        In case of high-level platform in urban railway system, a certain width of gap is inevitably formed between the train and the platform, and the gap width gets varied when it is concerned with curved portion of the tracks at platform, per location. This gap greatly contributes to decrease of passengers' safety while boarding and alighting a train. In particular, it endangers children's safety. Most existing gap filler systems are largely disadvantageous in terms of installation and maintenance, as they are highly complicated in their compositions and activated with a separate source of power. Also, they are seldom put into practical use as their ill functions often bring the train to stop, caused by a break of power supply or malfunction of control system. In this study, the authors will, with due consideration on safe operation of the train when mechanical gap filler systems are fixed to the train doors, explore the possibilities to put it into practical use, by ensuring stabilization of interactive relaying activities between Platform Screen Doors and the train doors, and by securing fault-free solution for installation, and interruption-free operation of trains.
