The evolution of computer has seen the biggest turning point in the history of modern management. With the development of computer and other information technology, firms have been able to manage uncertainty to a certain extent, since decision makers have been able to consider many more contingent variables and obtain more effective and accurate information in more efficient ways. This isespecially true for network technology including VAN, LAN, WAN, MAN in today's more globalized and complicated business environment. Many firms put their efforts to figure out the possibility of increaing effectiveness of decision making and efficiency of daily operations by introducing network technologies. Some firms report successful experiences while the others are not. The level of success mostly determined by if they establish effective ways to utilize various network technoligies or not. This study has been done to propose ways for the effective usage of VAN. (1) The reliability of information from VAN must be fully guaranteed. (2) A VAN should be compatible and integrated with different VANs. (3) A VAN should be able to access and process various information media such as audio information, video information and text information. (4) A satisfactory after-service system is required. (5) Relevant regulations, guidelines and policies should be prepared and implemented effectively. (6) Set up a long-range plans for the training and eduction of VAN experts.

Because of the need for effective management of academic affairs the University has been urged to advance in its educational administration, its curriculum, and its improvment of teaching methods. In order to apply the improvements produced by constant research to the school administration, first of all, we have to have the establishment of a reliable information system, effective management of information for academic evalution and analysis, and speedy management processing. However, the explosive increase of information followed by the increase of an educated populace has brought us many additional problems to be taken care of. Especially, personnel management is decisively limited by each school's financial difficulties. Plans for an effective academic management information system are urgently needed to help solving problems which occur when we reduce school personner in order to manage academic affairs effectively, and control academic information efficiently. This thesis is made in this regard. Stated in more detail, we took D Junior College. We have mainly analyzed the ins and outs of the system for academic achievement and registration forms for classes which we think the most important in academic affairs. We have also found some problems as well as inconveniences. We have tried to make improvements developed by our research applicable to this junior college. We couldn't solve all the problems related to registration for classes and academic achievement. It's mainly because we didn't have enough time to take care of such problems and because the minicomputer we have could not take care of all the information related to our research. Anyway, we sincerely hope that this thesis will be a small milestone on the endless road of improving academic convenience. We also hope that this thesis would help to establish a more effective and comprehensive program for the total system.

In this paper, speech synthesis was not worked in terms of the magnetic tape and mechanical method but worked in terms of speech synthesis system used by special Partial Autocorrelation Method among the several methods for the purpose of the reconstruction of high-quality sounds. In experimental method six voiced sounds and syllables were selected, and these sounds were analyzed by compuer. In the experimental result, synthesis sound was almost obtained the same that as the original sound. Informations per a frame were reduced by 136 bits. Then, it was obtained a high compression effect from these informations.

It is necessary to introduce an effective Stratagy for the Success of regional balanced-development. Recently, regional Informationization attracts high attention as one of the most effective strategies for regional balanced-development. One can presume that there are many other alternatives to propel the regional Informationization effectively. However, the activation of Software industry which is an indispensable condition to build up infonnation system for all sorts of Informationization such as administrative Infonmationization, social Infonmationization, Industry Informationization and regional Infonmationization etc, is the most fundamental alternative to promote the regional Informationization. Among the above, the activation of regional software industry should be a shortcut to reach the successful regional Informationization. This study was designed to plan the activation of regional software industry, connected with above mentioned circumstances.

Mo-Al₂O₃-Al thin film capacitors have been fabricated. Al₂O₃ thin films were deposited by r. f. sputtering method. Their dielectric constant and disipation factor have been measured as a function of percentage of O₂ and deposition rate. The annealing effect of deposited films were investigated. The structure and etched surface of thin films were investigated by I. R. absorption measurement and a microscope, respectively. The relations of dielectric constant and pin hole of deposited films were investigated.
Determination of the Fleet Size for Container Road Transportation with Dynamic Demand

This study suggests an approach for determining fleet size for container road transportation with dynamic demand in Korea. With the forecasted monthly container transportation data a year, a heuristic algorithm IS developed to determine the number of company-owned trucks, mandated trucks, and rented trucks in order to minimize the expected annual operating cost, which is based on the solution technologies used in the aggregate production planning and the pickup-and-delivery problem. Finally the algorithm is tested for the problem how the trucking company determines the fleet size for transporting containers.
