연구목적 본 연구는 한중 실용음악 공연의 예술적 표현과 사회적 기능을 비교하여, 공연이 문화적 정체성을 반영하고, 사회적 메시지를 전달하며, 경제적·교육적 발전에 어떻게 기여하는지 분석하고자 한다. 전통과 현대적 요소의 융합을 통해 실용음악이 현대 사회에서 수행하는 다차원적 역할을 탐구하였다. 연구방법 본 연구는 문헌 검토와 사례 연구를 결합한 방법론을 사용하였다. 이론적 틀은 학술 자료와 보고서 분석을 통해 구축하였으며, 한국의 K-pop 공연과 중국의 대규모 음악 축제 및 오디션 프로그램과 같은 대표 사례를 중심으로 분석하였다. 이를 통해 양국 공연의 예술적 특성과 전통-현대 융합, 그리고 사회적·경제적 기여를 비교하였다. 결과 한국의 실용음악 공연은 K-pop을 중심으로 첨단 기술과 글로벌 팬덤 문화를 결합하여 혁신적이고 몰입감 있는 무대를 창출하였다. 반면, 중국의 공연은 전통 악기와 스토리텔링을 현대적으로 재해석하여 문화적 정체성을 강화하고 국가적·지역적 공동체 의식을 고취하였다. 양국 모두 실용음악 공연을 통해 지역 경제 활성화와 음악 교육 발전에 기여하며 전통과 현대를 조화롭게 융합하였다. 결론 한중 실용음악 공연은 단순한 대중적 오락을 넘어 현대 사회에서 중요한 예술적, 사회적, 경제적 매개체로 기능한다. 본 연구는 이러한 공연의 다차원적 기능을 강조하며, 향후 정량적 데이터와 관객 중심의 분석을 통해 실용음악 공연의 영향을 심층적으로 규명할 필요성을 제시한다. Purpose This study aims to compare the artistic expressions and social functions of practical music performances in Korea and China, focusing on how these performances reflect cultural identity, deliver social messages, and contribute to economic and educational development. By analyzing the fusion of traditional and modern elements, the study explores the multifaceted role of practical music in contemporary society. Methods The research employed a combination of literature review and case studies. Theoretical frameworks were established through the analysis of academic resources and reports, while representative cases such as K-pop performances in Korea and large-scale music festivals and talent shows in China were examined. The study compared the artistic characteristics, traditional-modern integration, and socio-economic contributions of performances in both countries. Results The study found that Korean practical music performances, centered on K-pop, integrate cutting-edge technology and global fandom culture to create innovative and engaging stages. In contrast, Chinese performances emphasize the reinterpretation of traditional instruments and storytelling to strengthen cultural identity and foster national and regional unity. Both countries effectively utilize practical music to boost local economies, promote music education, and balance tradition with modernity. Conclusion Practical music performances in Korea and China serve as significant artistic, social, and economic mediators in modern society, transcending mere entertainment. This study highlights the multidimensional functions of such performances and suggests the need for future research to employ quantitative data and audience-centered analyses to further explore their impact.

한중 전통음악과 현대음악의 융합 및 변천 현황과 응용에 대한 비교 연구

인터넷이 빠르게 발전하는 환경에서 한중 양국의 현대 음악은 점차다원화된 음악적 특색을 나타내며, 전통 음악에 비해 사람들의 더 큰 관심과 지지를 받고 있습니다. 이러한 흐름 속에서 전통과 현대가 융합된 음악은 전통 악기 및 전통 성악 요소와 현대 음악 스타일을 결합하여 전통 음악의 특색을 보존하면서도 새로운 활력을 불어넣고 있습니다. 이러한 융합 음악은 고대와 현대를 잇는 매개체로 작용하며, 문화 간 교류와 혁신을 촉진하는 중요한 발전 방향으로 자리 잡고 있습니다. 본 연구는 전통 음악과 현대 음악의 융합 특징을 분석하고, 한중 양국의 융합 음악 발전 현황을 비교하며, 이와 관련된 응용 사례를 분석하고자 합니다. 더 나아가, 미래 융합음악의혁신적발전 방향을 제안함으로써 한중 전통 및 현대 융합 음악 문화의 지속 가능한 교류와 전승을 촉진하고자 합니다. In the context of rapid internet development, modern music in South Korea and China has increasingly displayed diverse characteristics and gained more public favor compared to traditional music. By integrating elements of traditional music with modern music styles—such as combining traditional instruments with vocal composition elements—this fusion not only preserves the unique qualities of traditional music but also revitalizes it. This blending of styles fosters cross-cultural exchange and innovation, establishing itself as a new trend in contemporary music development. This paper aims to analyze the characteristics of the fusion between traditional and modern music in South Korea and China, compare the current state of their evolution, explore the application of fusion music, and highlight future directions for innovation, in order to promote intergenerational exchange and preservation of Korean and Chinese traditional music within the context of modern music.
