This study was a numerical analysis of the hydraulic mooring winch which was equipped the ship for trying to berth at the pier. The automatic ship mooring using hydraulic mooring winch was a new method that had not need to change the existing devices and to help a pilot ship of outside. The numerical results of the proposal mooring system including ship motion were that the speed and rolling phenomenon of ship was affected by changing in the ship weight and affected the slope maintenance and yaw degree of ship if there has a trim of stern. Also, a static force of ship at the initial movement was important to calculate the mooring power. The movement force and inertial force of ship on the vertical direction was confirmed to the mooring stability. Therefore, the power and velocity of hydraulic mooring winch should be determined by considering a significant characteristics; weight, velocity, inertial force and initial force of ship.

In this study, we designed the hydraulic propulsion propeller system using a hydraulic system that allows dredged materials to be carried out by the dredger and dredged materials to the disposal place. The proposed model equation could be carried out to design the screw propeller specifications considering the resistance to dredger, the quantitative specifications of the hydraulic propulsion propeller could be determined through the numerical analysis programs. In addition, based on the proposed results, we were able to determine the specifications of the hydraulic system used as the hydraulic motor in the propulsion propeller device and then manufactured the hydraulic propulsion propeller. In order to secure the reliability of the proposed model equation, it was verified by the external testing agency that hydraulic propulsion propeller on the basis of the proposed model equation can achieve the speed of the target in the dredging place.

This study deals with the design method of self turing control based on the stability limits for characteristics equation in the transfer function with unknown deterministic disturbance. The STC(Self tuning Control) design has been developed for the system with unknown parameters up to now. The other hand, PID control methods have been used for the real time system since the control parameters are specified by controller gains. Therefore, it is necessary to consider control methods that the control parameters are only specified by PID gains. A suggestion of STC in this paper is designed on the basic of criterion for digital unit circle in the pole placement method. The process is modelled as a controlled regression of the third order and its parameters estimated using the recursive least squares method with directional forgetting is applied. Finally, the result of numerical simulation of the suggestion algorithm is suitable for automatic setting of digital PID controllers for control system.
