적응형 채도 향상 알고리즘을 이용한 컬러 영상 처리 기법

본 논문에서는 LCD 모니터, LCD TV, PDP TY, OLED TV 등과 같은 평판 디스플레이 장비를 위한 적응형 칼라 영상 향상 알고리즘에 대해서 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 칼라 영상에서 콘트라스트와 채도를 함께 향상 시키는 방법이다. 콘트라스트 향상을 위해서 사용하는 적응형 선형 추정 CDF(Cumulative Density Function) 기법은 콘트라스트 향상 시 밝기에 따른 조정이 가능하여 원 영상의 왜곡을 막아준다. 적응형 채도 향상 알고리즘은 채도 향상의 문제점인 Contour Artifact와 Over-Saturation이 발생하지 않는 범위내에서 제도를 향상시킨다. 또한 원 영상의 색상 분포에 따른 선택적 채도 향상 방법을 사용하여 고품질의 영상을 얻을 수 있다. 제안된 알고리즘에 의한 처리 결과와 원 영상의 화질 평가를 위해서 시각적 검증과 히스토그램 편차를 도입하였다. In this paper, we propose an automatic extraction model for unknown translations and implement an unknown translation extraction system using the proposed model. The proposed model as a phrase-alignment model is incorporated with three models: a phrase-boundary model, a language model, and a translation model. Using the proposed model we implement the system for extracting unknown translations, which consists of three parts: construction of parallel corpora, alignment of Korean and English words, extraction of unknown translations. To evaluate the performance of the proposed system, we have established the reference corpus for extracting unknown translation, which comprises of 2,220 parallel sentences including about 1,500 unknown translations. Through several experiments, we have observed that the proposed model is very useful for extracting unknown translations. In the future, researches on objective evaluation and establishment of parallel corpora with good quality should be performed and studies on improving the performance of unknown translation extraction should be kept up.

Histogram Equalization(HE) is widely used for contrast enhancement. However, it tends to change the brightness of an dark image and the darkness of an bright image, not suitable for consumer electronic products. In this paper we proposed the algorithm of the image restoration using the improvement histogram equalization that makes the image more detailed brightness.

In this paper, we propose the color image enhancement method to improve the quality of color image without producing over-saturation and color contour artifacts. The proposed method has two manners, which one is the adaptive cumulative density function and the other is the luminance-based saturation extension. That is focused on a preference color processing in order to generate better image quality than the algorithms focused on a uniform one for human vision.

In this paper. we propose an adaptive color enhancement algorithm. It is used for the flat panel displays (FPDs) such as LCD, PDP, and so on. The proposed algorithm consists of an adaptive linear approximation CDF(Cumulative Density Function) algorithm and an adaptive saturation enhancement algorithm. The one is for contrast enhancement which prevents an image from the distortion by luminance transient of an input image. The other is the algorithm which improves the saturation without the contour artifact and over-saturation, whose problems are generated during the enhancing saturation. In addition, it allows to achieve the high quality image using the saturation enhancement method for a preferred color of original image. Visual test and standard deviation of their histograms have been applied to evaluate the resultant output images of the proposed algorithm.
