빔 출력 특성 개선을 위한 빔 프로파일 모니터링 시스템 개발

Radioactive isotopes which are manufactured using a cyclotron in a radioisotope used for radiation diagnosis is affected by the production yield according to size and shape of the beam and beam uniform degree from irradiated location when the proton beam investigated the target by cyclotron. Therefore, in this paper developed the BPM(Beam Profile Monitor) device capable of measuring the beam cross-section at the cyclotron beam line. It was configured so as to be able to remote control the BPM device in LabView and used the BPM program it was to be able to easily monitor and display to analyze the graph of two-dimensional graph and a three-dimensional beam distribution numerical information of the beam obtained while scanning the tungsten wire to the X and Y axis. The time it takes to measure the beam can be confirmed 37seconds when step motor driving speed was 2000pps. Through a beam readjusted based on the measured beam distribution information by optimizing the beam distribution it can be made to maximize the RI production yield and contribute supply stabilization. 방사선 진단에 사용되는 방사성동위원소 중 사이클로트론을 이용해 생산되는 방사성동위원소는 사이클로트론에서 인출된 양성자 빔이 타겟에 조사될 때 빔의 크기와 모양, 조사되는 위치에서 빔 균일 정도에 따라 생산 수율에 영향을 받는다. 이에 본 논문에서는 사이클로트론 빔 라인에서 빔의 단면을 측정할 수 있는 BPM(Beam Profile Monitor)장치를 개발하였다. LabView로 BPM장치를 원격 제어할 수 있도록 구성하였으며 BPM 프로그램을 이용하여 X축과 Y축으로 텅스텐 와이어를 스캔하면서 얻은 빔의 수치 정보를 2차원 그래프와 3차원 빔 분포 그래프로 표시하여 해석을 쉽게 모니터링 할 수 있도록 하였다. 빔을 측정하는 데 걸리는 시간은 스텝 모터 구동 속도가 2000pps일 때 37초가 걸린다는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 측정된 빔 분포정보를 기반으로 빔 재조정을 통해 빔 분포를 최적화함으로써 방사성동위원소 생산 수율을 극대화 시킬 수 있고 공급 안정화에도 기여하리라 본다.

Numerical simulation is carried out to investigate 3-D complex flow and performance characteristics of double-suction centrifugal pump. Double-section centrifugal pump consisted of six blades impeller and shroud ring. Rotating speed of closed type impeller is 3000 rpm. Finite-volume method with structured mesh and k-ω Shear Stress Transport turbulence model was used to guaranty more accurate prediction of turbulent flow in the pump impeller. Total head, power and overall efficiency were calculated according to the variation of flow rate to obtain performance characteristics of two types of pump. From the results, impeller having smooth curve along the shroud line obtained good performance. Complicated internal flow phenomena through impellers such as flow separation, pressure loss, flow unsteadiness and performance are investigated and discussed.
낮은 Mach수유동 해석을 위한 Preconditioning 가중계수의 의존성

A dependence of weighting parameter in preconditioning method for solving low Mach number flow with incompressible flow nature is investigated. The present preconditioning method employs a finite-difference method applied Roe‘s flux difference splitting approximation with the MUSCL-TVD scheme and 4th-order Runge-Kutta method in curvilinear coordinates. From the computational results of benchmark flows through a 2-D backward-facing step duct it is confirmed that there exists a suitable value of the weighting parameter for accurate and stable computation. A useful method to determine the weighting parameter is introduced. With this method, high accuracy and stable computational results were obtained for the flow with low Mach number in the range of Mach number less than 0.3.

Purpose: This study is addressing the establishment of the knowledge information system supplying the quality management of weapon system. It is going to support the continuous quality management through the linkages and integration between the product structure and the quality information. Methods: The interrelated relationship of the product structure information and quality information of weapon system would be expressed explicitly by taking advantage of the ontology concept. The quality information of distributed systems would be integrated through the SOA(Service Oriented Architecture)-based Web services. After defining the inference rules, which could be utilized in the quality management, in the constructed knowledge information system, the quality information would be inferred through the queries. Results: By building the integrated quality information knowledge system through the ontology and SOA, the connectivity between the product structures and dispersed quality information was enhanced. The utility and applicability of this study were checked up through the inferences on the products and quality information by using the information built by the semantic relationship of facts. Conclusion: We established the knowledge and information system as a systematic approach to support the quality management of weapon system. This is not affected by the organizations and systems, and it seems that it could be utilized across the quality management as the efficient knowledge sharing architecture support-ing the quality management of weapon systems in the aspect of the product integration.

A dependence of the parameter in precondition method for solving low Mach number flow with incompressible flow nature is investigate. The present method employs a finite-difference method applied Roe's flux difference splitting approximation with the MUSCL-TVD scheme and high order Runge-Kutta method. From the computational results of 2-D internal flows through a backward-facing step duct an appropriate value of the parameter is suggested. High accuracy and stable computational results are obtained for the flow with low Mach number at β of 50 in the range of Mach number less than 0.3.

In cause total traffic accidents in Korea, drowsy driving has been shown that it is larger factors than drunk driving. Therefore, in order to prevent drowsy driving accidents, drowsiness detection and warning system for drivers has recently become a very important issue. In this study, first as a result of the drowsiness induction experiments of the frontal area 1 channel measurement method for targeting a small number of experimenters, the pattern of brain waves meaning that drowsiness state could be detected by power spectral changes of Alpha waves. miniaturized EEG devices self-develop 1-channel measurement methods and a wireless data transmission system using the LabView program for detecting drowsiness. Based on this, EEG raw data results can be monitored from PC with wireless communications. So, if signal processing algorithm and warning system for drowsiness detection take advantage of development on drowsiness prevention system of drivers may be expected lower to contribute as drowsy driving accident caused death rate.
