      • 전기자극이 성견 골결손부에 매식된 임플란트 주위조직의 치유에 미치는 영향

        Several experimental studies showed that the application of small amounts of electric current to bone stimulated osteogenesis at the site of the cathode and suggested that electrical currents promote osseointegration around dental implants. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of direct microcurrent to endosseous titanium implants placed in bone defects. The right and left 2nd, 3rd and 4th mandibular premolars in ten mongrel dogs (15kg of weight) were extracted. One month later, Ti-machined screw type implants(3.8 mm diameter×8.5 mm length, AVANA�, Ostem) were placed in surgically created circumferential defect area(width 5mm, depth 4mm). The implants were divided into three groups according to the treatment modalities: Control group- implants without electrical stimulation; Experimental group I- implants with allogenic demineralized freeze dried bone grafting and Experimental group Ⅱ- implants allogenic demineralized freeze dried bone grafting and electric stimulation. The animals were sacrificed in the 4th and 8th week after implant placement and un-decalcified specimens were prepared for histological and histometrical evaluation of bone-implant contact ratio (BIC) and bone formation area ratio (BFA) in defect area. Some specimens at 8 weeks after implantation were used for removal torque testing. Histologically, there were connective tissue infiltration in the coronal part of defect area in control and the experimental group I. whereas direct bone contact was found in the experimental group Ⅱ without connective tissue invasion. Average BIC ratios at 4 weeks of healing were 60.1% in the experimental group Ⅱ, 47.4% in the experimental group I and 42.7% in the control. Average BIC ratios at 8 weeks after implantation were 67.6% in the experimental group Ⅱ, 55.9% in the experimental group I and 54,6% in the control. The average BFA ratio was 84.0% in the experimental group Ⅱ, 71.8% in the experimental group I and 58.8% in the control at 4 weeks, and the BFA ratios were 89.6% in the experimental group Ⅱ, 81.4% in the experimental group I and 70.5% in the control at 8 weeks after implantation. The experimental group Ⅱ showed also significantly greater BIC and BFA ratios compared to the control and the experimental group I (p<0.05). The removal torque values at 8 weeks after implantation were 56 Ncm in the experimental group Ⅱ, 49 Ncm in the experimental group I and 43 Ncm in the control. There was a statistically significant difference among 3 groups(p<0.05) . These results suggest that electrical stimulation improve and accelerate bone healing around endosseous titanium implants in bone defect.

        한국형 외상 및 스트레스 관련 성장 척도(TSRGS)의 개발 및 타당화

        Many people suffer from life stress, but some people report growth after these stress events. The purpose of the present study is to develop Trauma and Stress-Related Growth Scale(TSRGS), a valid measure of the growth experienced by Koreans through general stress events as well as traumatic events. In Study 1, in order to develop items of a scale that measures the actual growth that Koreans experience, interviews were conducted for those who experienced growth or positive changes after stress events. The result of interviews were analyzed qualitatively to assume theoretical sub-factors, and the content validity was evaluated by the experts. Next, in the preliminary survey of Study 1, appropriate items were selected first through the item analysis comparing the reliability, discrimination, and response distribution of each item, and in main survey the exploratory factor analysis with polychoric correlation coefficients were conducted to draw the final items and factor structure of TSRGS. The sub-factors consist of (1) increased sense of value in life, (2) positive evaluation from others, (3) increased acceptance of others, (4) increased hardiness, and (5) increased integrity of emotions. In Study 2, the confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis with other scales such as post-traumatic growth scale, meaning scale of life, and event-related rumination scale, and measurement invariance test were conducted to secure the construct and concurrent validity of TSRGS. Finally, Based on the results, clinical utilization of TSRGS is discussed and further research is proposed. 많은 사람들이 생활 스트레스로 인해 고통을 겪기도 하지만, 이러한 스트레스 사건 후에 성장을 보고하기도 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 한국인들이 외상뿐만 아니라 일반적인 스트레스 사건을 통하여 경험하는 성장을 측정하는 외상 및 스트레스 관련 성장 척도(TSRGS)를 개발하는 것이다. 연구 1에서 한국인이 경험하는 실제적인 성장을 측정하는 척도의 문항을 개발하기 위하여 스트레스 사건 후에 성장이나 긍정적 변화를 경험한 사람을 대상으로 인터뷰를 실시하였고, 인터뷰 결과를 질적으로 분석하여 이론적인 하위요인을 가정하고 문항풀을 개발한 후, 전문가의 내용타당도 평가를 실시하였다. 다음으로 연구 1의 예비조사에서 각 문항의 신뢰도, 변별도, 문항반응분포를 비교하는 문항분석을 통하여 적절한 문항을 1차로 선정하였고, 본 조사에서 다분상관계수를 사용한 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하여 TSRGS의 최종 문항과 요인구조를 도출하였다. 하위요인은 삶의 가치감 증가, 타인의 긍정적 평가, 타인 수용 증가, 강인성 증가, 감정의 진실성 증가로 구성되었다. 연구 2에서 본 척도에 대한 확인적 요인분석 및 외상 후 성장 척도, 삶의 의미 척도, 사건-관련 반추 척도 등과의 상관분석, 그리고 측정동일성 검증을 실시하여 TSRGS의 구성 및 공존 타당도를 추가로 확보하였다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 TSRGS의 임상적 활용에 대해 논의하고, 추후연구에 대한 제안점을 제시하였다.

      • Tetracycline 처리된 차폐막이 치은 섬유아세포에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of tetracycline-treated e-PTFE membrane on the human gingival fibroblast attachment. To evaluate the cell attachment to membrane, the number of gingival fibroblast attached to e-PTFE membrane was counted by hemocytometer. Also the cytotoxic effect of tetracycline-treated e-PTFE membrane on human gingival fibroblast was measured by Wataha's MTT assay. After tetracycline-treated barrier membrane was exposed to culture media for 24 hours, cell attaachment to membrane and cytotoxic effect were measured. The results were as follows; As for cell proliferation rate, total cell number increase in both control group and tetracycline-treated e-PTFE membrane in course of time, but the cell numbers were decreased to half in tetracycline-treated barrier membrane as in the control group. In MTT assay, tetracycline-treated e-PTFE membrane showed moderate to weak cytotoxic effect compared to non-treated control. At the begining, tetracycline-treated, so was barrier membrane released abundant tetracycline and so decreased the number of cell attached barrier membrane, but not almost observed cellular activity inhibition on attached cell and as decreasing tetracycline-treated barrier membrane, the number of attached cell were increased. These results might suggest that tetracycline-treated e-PTFE membrane showed relatively low proliferation rate of attached cells, but weak cytotoxic effect. So it is suggested tetracycline-treated e-PTFE membrane could bind gingival connective tissue normally and the healing site could gain stability.

        시작점 및 끝점 y축 분할표를 이용한 체인코드 기반의 영상복원 알고리즘

        A fast algorithm for the restoration of an images based on chain codes description using y-axis partition of the starting and ending ponts. The algorithm is to convert the chain codes description into the two y-axis partitions by proposed look-up table. It reduces the size of column elements as a half in y-axis partition. this technique is computationally faster than Shih's methods. comparision of the proposed method and Shih method is also provided. 시작점과 끝점의 y축 분할표를 이용하여 체인코드 표현의 영상을 복원하는 빠른 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 참조표는 시작점과 끝점이 구분되어지며 이를 이용해 체인코드 표현을 두개의 y축 분할표로 변환한다. 이 방법은 순서정렬 해야할 y축 분할표의 요소수가 반으로 줄어 처리 속도가 Shih의 방법보다 훨씬 빠르다. Shih의 방법과 처리 속도를 비교하였다.

        The connected components algorithm is one of the techniques used to divide a binary image into regions and to assign unique number into connected regions. In this paper, a fast connected components algorithm based on chain codes is proposed. The algorithm uses look-up table based on parity checking of the contour. We proposed the new look-up table which can separate starting, ending and ignore points. In addition to the algorithm can be applied to extract chain codes form binary images and restore the image form chain codes. Comparison of the proposed method and ones existing method are provided.
