As the consciousness of value is changing from the collectivism to individualism in the modem Korean, the purpose of this study was to analyze which group of university students, athletic students and non-athletic ordinary students, would show higher tendency to the collectivists value, based on studies conducted previously. And, the population-social factors that determine the formation of the value consciousness with other people (such as family, relative, friend, neighbors) were compared and analyzed to establish a more academic order. And, in order to provide the theory and information, the questionnaire originally used by Hui (1988), was adapted and made to achieve the following results from a total of 512 students, 298 athletic students and 214 ordinary students. 1) In their consciousness of value against their family, the results were athletic players (4.24±0.39) ordinary students (3.92±0.42) showing athletic players a higher tendency to show collectivism consciousness of value with a significant difference (p<.01) compared to ordinary students. 2) In their consciousness of value against their relative, the results were athletic players (4.09±0.42) ordinary students (3.90±0.37) showing athletic players a higher tendency to show collectivism consciousness of value with a significant difference (p<.05) compared to ordinary students. 3) In their consciousness of value against their family, the results were athletic players (4.16±0.34) ordinary students (3.99±0.47) showing athletic players a higher tendency to show collectivism consciousness of value with a significant difference (p<.05) compared to ordinary students. 4) In their consciousness of value against their neighbors, the results were athletic players (4.08±0.42) ordinary students (3.89±0.44) showing athletic players a higher tendency to show collectivism consciousness of value with a significant difference (p<.05) compared to ordinary students. 5) By analyzing the 4 categories to test the consciousness of value of athletic players and ordinary students, we resulted in athletic players (4.14±0.39) ordinary students (3.92±0.42) showing that athletic players showed a higher tendency to collectivism consciousness of value with a significant difference (p<.01) compared with the ordinary student.

Pum Step and almost all postures of Taekkyon are made up focusing on Danjeon, and it is clearly shown in Neuncheong Posture. Comparing features of Neuncheong posture with other martial arts posture or related movement of training groups, Hoigeonsul, the final step of Seokmun Breathing Training, is in the most similar form. Regarding the core of unique posture Neuncheong, Taekkyon, Hoigeonsul and partial movements are consisted with similar posture system, thus one may easily aware that it is similar to Danjeon of Seokmun Breathing. Upon recognition of such result, Taekkyon is a traditional martial art which focuses on Seokmunhyeol(a spot located about 5cm down from the belly button) with uncomparable natural postures. Especially during continuos Pum Steps, trainees may experience various energy and power such as power in Danjeon and heat. With that in mind, Taekkyon is beyond the general martial art, but an unconventional and unique traditional training method. As a traditional art which has gone through an extinction crisis, it has been restored enough at present. However interest in how condensed energy in Danjeon is related to postures has to be clarified. Furthermore, many martial arts so far have professed an expression of Body and Soul Training(a.k.a Seong Myeong Ssang Su), but concerning soul training part, it better be properly equipped in detailed to be suitable for the expression of Body and Soul Training(a.k.a Seong Myeong Ssang Su). After active Taekkyon training, a calming breathing as a final step is in line with Yin and Yang principle and easily understandable. Concept needs to be changed to be more flexible and proactive. Associations of traditional breathing training show own logics and training systems such as Yeon Jeong Hwa Gi(train the affection and convert it to the energy) and Yeon Gi Hwa Sin(recall the mind using the energy). Through breathing, trainees gather energy(a.k.a. Chukgi) followed by Unki(energy of luck) process and train one's body and soul. Trough training of 2 completely different associations and completing each others's short come, it is identical to the expression of Yin Yang Sang Hap(union of Yin and Yang), and Taekkyon will be restored to the original form as a Body and Soul Training beyond a general traditional martial art.

This study aims to movement mechanical approach about Taekkyon kicking motion principles. The results of study is as follows: First, the kicking by wriggling knee is as follows. It is necessary in taekkyon kicking to kick by wriggling knee and to return quickly. The kicking by wriggling knee increase speed because short segment decrease the power loss. So the kicking increase speed and energy through whipping principle. Second, the comparison of kicking motion between taeckkyon and taekwondo is as follows. The kicking of taekwondo shows wide striking area and strong power but it don't show similar motion like wriggling motion(Gumsil) in taekkyon. The all motions of Taekwondo are snap-kicking. They are to damage to opponent as possible but Taekkyon forbids like these kicking motions. Taekkyon allows only thrust kicking. And Taekkyon step (Pumbalki) is preliminary motion of kicking because it is base of attack and defence. And the motion analysis of roundhouse kicking between Taekkyon(Durumchigi) and Taekwondo shows that the excellent group is faster than non-excellent group in the motions in both. Third, the result of twisted power in Taekkyon is as follows. The twisted power shows with the swaying motion(Neungchung) together in twisting kicking like Gyutchigi and Batchanchigi and it is on the axis of waist. In the Gyutchigi motion, The power from most twisted waist reacts to kicking tip toe so becomes powerful attack. This study shows the superiority of Taekkyon through western academic approach not a vague assertion that our traditional martial art is good. In order to promote Taekkyon as a worldwide sport, reperception of teakkyon should be created by approaching from modern study.

This study aims to seek the scientific principle on the teakkyon motions through western movement mechanical approach. The results of survey analysis are as follows: First, the flutter motion before the kicking is the counterbalance. There is 'the reaction principle' among the physical exercise principles. It means that opposite movement between arms and legs rises movement effect during the running. Second, the course from wriggling motion(Gumsil) to swaying motion(Neungchung) is the whipping principle. All of Taekkyon motions are starting from elastic of knee by the swaying motion (Neungchung). The weight during wriggling motion(Gumsil) is moving to wriggling foot and the reaction of this weight is moving to hypogastric center (Danjon) through wriggling knee so it is going to tip of the body finally through body swaying motion(Neungchung). This curse is same of whipping principle. Third, the Taekkyon motions are the movement principle that all segmental parts of body move softly through the relaxation. Taekkyon is the martial game which people have been played except protective devices. So it is necessary to relax by slowly kicking during the attack. Moreover to pull attack effect by slowly kicking, the movement system which all body are using even in one motion is necessary. This study shows the superiority of Taekkyon through western academic approach not a vague assertion that our traditional martial art is good. In order to promote Taekkyon as a worldwide sport, reperception of teakkyon should be created by approaching from modern study.

The purpose of this study was to examine the leisure satisfaction of the aged people who were taking part in new sports. For this, a questionnaire survey of 410 the aged leisure sports participants over 65 years of age who belonged to the national leisure sports associations of park golf, ground golf and table tennis was carried out. And the data of 319 responses were used in the final analysis, except 91 responses of which reliability was problematic or answers were omitted. Therefore, this study's study tool was the questionnaire. Collected data were statistically analyzed with such analytic techniques as descriptive analysis, two-way ANOVA. In order to examine the difference between individual groups for significant results, Scheffe post hoc test was carried out. New sports participants' leisure satisfaction was significantly influenced by gender and the kinds of sports. In addition, the interactive effects of gender and the kinds of sports had a statistically significant influence upon leisure satisfaction. New sports participants' leisure satisfaction was not significantly influenced by gender and participatory motives. In addition, the interactive effects of gender and participatory motives had no statistically significant influence upon leisure satisfaction. New sports participants' leisure satisfaction was significantly influenced by gender and whether there was an instructor or not. However, the interactive effects of gender and whether there was an instructor or not had no statistically significant influence upon leisure satisfaction.
