        207 NEW OPEN STAR CLUSTERS WITHIN 1 KPC FROM GAIA DATA RELEASE 2

        We conducted a survey of open clusters within 1 kpc from the Sun using the astrometric and photometric data of the Gaia Data Release 2. We found 655 cluster candidates by visual inspection of the stellar distributions in proper motion space and spatial distributions in l - b space. All of the 655 cluster candidates have a well-defined main-sequence except for two candidates if we consider that the main sequence of very young clusters is somewhat broad due to differential extinction. Cross-matching of our 653 open clusters with known open clusters in various catalogs resulted in 207 new open clusters. We present the physical properties of the newly discovered open clusters. The majority of the newly discovered open clusters are of young to intermediate age and have less than ~50 member stars.

        Aspiration pneumonia is common complication in Stroke patient. A 60-years-old man was admitted because of cerebrovascular infarction. This patient had problem of aspiration pneumonia. Without Western medical treatment(Antibiotics), patient's symptoms, sign and laboratory findings were improved through Soyangin Hyoungbangpaedoksan treatment. So, we report it for the better treatment.

        사상체질(四象體質)과 Framingham Coronary Risk Score의 상관성(相關性)에 관한 연구(硏究)

        1. Objectives This study was designed to research the relationship between Sasang Constitution and Framingham coronary risk score(FRS), 2. Methods 666 people, over 40 years old, were participated in the community-based cohort in Wonju, South Korea from July 2nd to August 30th in 2006, Sasang Constitutional Diagnosis was carried out using PSSC(Phonetic System of Sasang Constitution), face and tongue photos and a checkup list, Framingham coronary risk score(FRS) was calculated using previously studied sheets adopted from KCDC(Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention). 3. Results The average FRS of men was 7,06 and that of female was 8,19 which was significantly higher than that of men. There were significant differences between Taeeumin and other constitutions in women, whereas no differences among male constitutions. Analyzing adjusted ORs for CHD risk intervals according to Sasang constitution, they were 0.96 in Taeeumin and 1.70 in Soyangin to Soeumin. Also 0.55 in Taeeumin and 3.39 in Soyangin to Soeumin in men, 1.96 in Taeeumin and 1.87 in Soyangin to Soeumin in women. Women had highet FRS than men and female Taeeumin group have highet FRS points and CRP than other constitutions. 4. Conclusions Regarding the positive relationship between FRS, APG and CRP, it is thought to be useful to understand APG and CRP results at the same time when calculating FRS. When it comes to prevention and screening of CHD, female Taeeumin should be more careful and female Soyangin also should have a consideration of heart disease.

        현재와 같은 지식 기반의 사회에서 지식과 정보를 이용해 문제를 해결하는 능력은 매우 중요하다. 하지만 정보의 양과 문제 해결의 상황이 늘어나면서 단순사고만으로는 문제를 해결하기에는 한계가 있다. 정보 논리적 사고력은 컴퓨터의 문제 해결의 과정과 그 방법에 대한 판단여부를 통하여, 문제해결의 절차를 마련하고 이를 해결하기 위해 필요한 사고이다. 본 연구는 정보 교과 수업에서 학생들의 정보 논리적 사고를 신장하기 위해 안드로이드와 아두이노를 활용하여 커리큘럼을 구성하고 그 효과성을 입증하려 한다. 커리큘럼은 수업 도구로써 학생들이 익숙하고 쉽게 접할 수 있는 안드로이드 기반의 스마트 기기와 아두이노를 활용하여 다양한 상황에서 대한 문제와 그 해결방법으로 구성한다. 학생들이 익숙한 도구를 사용함으로써 수업에 집중력 향상과 이를 통한 정보 논리적 사고의 신장을 기대한다.

        아두이노를 활용한 STEAM 커리큘럼 설계, 적용 및 효과 분석

        현대사회에서 발생하는 복합적인 문제들은 정보 논리적 사고를 통해 효율적으로 해결할 수 있으며, 정보 논리적 사고력은 정보 교과의 프로그래밍 교육을 통해 효과적으로 신장시킬 수 있다. 본 연구는 학습자의 흥미를 유발하고 집중도를 높일 수 있는 정보 교과 STEAM 커리큘럼을 설계하였고 이를 적용 및 평가하였다. 커리큘럼은 자기 주도적 학습과 조별 학습을 통하여 학습자 간에 상호작용이 이루어질 수 있도록 하였으며 하나의 주제를 가지고 과학, 음악, 정보 교과의 관련 지식을 이해할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 실험은 초등학교 4~6학년에 재학 중인 정보 영재 학생들을 대상으로 아두이노 보드를 활용하여 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 아두이노를 활용한 수업 후에 컴퓨터 과목에 대한 관심도와 프로그래밍에 대한 흥미도가 증가하였다. 75%의 학생들이 컴퓨터에 대한 흥미가 늘어났고 93%의 학생들이 아두이노를 활용한 수업에 긍정적인 응답을 하였다. 연구 결과의 유효성은 t-test를 통해 입증하였다. The nature of complex modern society inevitably creates intricate problems that can be solved by the computational and logical reasoning. The programming education in Informatics can effectively raise the ability of computational thinking. The paper proposes and evaluates a STEAM curriculum that can draw the interest and attention of students. The curriculum educates the multi-disciplinary knowledge from science, music and informatics, and it was designed to have group discussions with self-directed study. The experiments were performed with 4th.6th grade gifted students in Informatics from elementary schools. The Arduino was used as the experiment environment. The experiment results reveal that the interests in Informatics and programming have been escalated after the STEAM class; 75% of students expressed the surge of interest in computers and 93% of students responded positively to the Arduino-based class. The effectiveness of the experiment outcomes was validated with t-test.

        사상체질음성분석기(四象體質音聲分析機)(PSSC-2004)를 이용한 한국인 소아의 체질별(體質別) 음향특성(音響特性)

        1. Objective & Method The purpose of this study was to objectify the diagnosis of Sasang constitution. 163 children's voices were analyzed with 74 factors using PSSC-2004. 2. Results (1) In male children group, Taeumin's APQ4 was significantly low compared with the others. (2) In male children group, Taeumin's octave 5 & octave 6 were significantly low compared with the others. It was significant distinction between Taeumin and Soeumin at the result of post hoc. (3) In male children group, Taeumin's Time Domain Total Sum / Time Domain Count & Frequency Domain Total Sum / count(0) were significantly low compared with the others. It was significant distinction between Taeumin and Soeumin at the result of post hoc. (4) In male children group, Taeumin's 0k-2k total sum & 2k-4k total sum were significantly low compared with the others. It was significant for distinction between Taeumin and Soeumin at the result of post hoc. (5) In male children group, Taeumin's 2k-4k deviation was significantly low compared with the others. It was significant distinction between Taeumin and Soeumin at the result of post hoc. (6) In male children group, Taeumin's D# Total Energy & F# Total Energy were significantly low compared with the others. It was significant distinction between Taeumin and Soeumin at the result of post hoc. (7) In male children group, Taeumin's D# deviation & F# deviation were significantly low compared with the others. It was significant distinction between Taeumin and Soeumin at the result of post hoc. (8) In female children group, Soyangin's center frequency (7) was significantly high compared with the others. It was significant distinction between Taeumin and Soyangin at the result of post hoc. 3. Coclusion With these results, we got some information for standardization of the clinical diagnosis guideline of Sasang constitutional type classification using PSSC-2004 in the Korean children

        사상체질별(四象體質別) 이소편(利小便) 약물(藥物)의 효능(效能)에 관한 연구(硏究)

        The aim of this thesis is to examine the effect of the diuretics in the Sasang constitutional medicine those are not categorized to the diuretic in the established herbal medicine by the way of measuring the change of body edema and the quantity of body moisture through the inbody test, along with the urine volume taken for 24 hours 1. We medicated the diuretic suggested by the DongyiSuseBowon東醫壽世保元 into the tested group and measured the change of the urine volume, the quantity of body moisture and the degree of body edema. The results are the followings below. 1) Soeumin The change in the urine volume and body moisture showed no responsibility, but the degree of body edema decreased with the responsibility. 2) Soyangin All of the degree of body edema and the urine volume, and body moisture showed decrease. 3) Taeumin The urine volume and body moisture increased but showed no responsibility. Also the degree of body edema decreased within the normal limit which can not be accepted. 4) The medicine of the Sasang Constitutional Medicine can not be simply thought to be the diuretic, but it has the function that excretes the moisture which functions negatively in the body and causes edema, as well as the function of the adjustment of metabolism that preserves the normal amount of moisture. This is the good example which is the concept of the adjustment therapy suggested by The Sasang Constitutional Medicine 2. Through the results above, we can find that the diuretic suggested by The Sasang Constitutional Medicine functions in the way that is differently explained by the herbal medicine.

        1. Objectives The purpose of this case is to report a Taeumin, who was examined as Hwa-Byeong, received a medical treatment with Cheongsimyeonja-tang and consult of Sasang Constitutional Medicine. 2. Methods We examined this patient as Hwa-Byeong by using Hwa-Byeong Diagnostic Interview Schedule(HBDIS) and we also diagnosed a patient's mental state by using MMPI to understand a human instinct of the patient. Additionally, we used QSCC II and PSCC to distinguish a patient's Sasang Constitution. 3. Results We received a positive result by using prescription as Cheongsimyeonja-tang and consult according to a patient's Sasang Constitutional Medicine. 4. Conclusions We suggested that the patient would receive steady treatments as consult of Sasang Constitutional Medicine and medicinal therapy afterwards.

        열다한소탕(熱多寒少湯)이 저산소성(低酸素性) 대뇌신경세포(大腦神經細胞) 손상에 미치는 영향(影響)

        To elucidate the neuroprotective effect of Yeoldahanso-tang(YHT) on nerve cells damaged by hypoxia, the cytotoxic effects of exposure to hypoxia were determined by XTT(SODIUM3,3'-{I-[(PHENYLAMINO) CARBONYL]-3,4-TETRAZOLIUM}- BIS (4-METHOXY-6-NITRO) BENZENE SULFONIC ACID HYDRATE), NR(Neutral red), MTT(3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) and SRB(Sulforhodamin B) asssay. The activity of catalase and SOD(Superoxide dismutase) was measured by spectrophometry, and $TNF-{\alpha}$(Tumor cell necrosis $fector-{\alpha}$) and PKC(Protein kinase C) activity was measured after exposure to hypoxia and treatment of YHTWE. Also the neuroprotective effect of YHTWE was researched for the elucidatioion of neuroprotective mechanism. The results were as follows; 1. Hypoxia decreased cell viability measured by XTT, NR assay when cultured cerebral neurons were exposed to 95% N2/5% CO2 for $2{\sim}26$ minutes in these cultures and YHTWE inhibited the decrease of cell viability. 2. H2O2 treatment decreased cell viability measured by MTT, and SRB assay when cultured cerebral neurons were exposed to 1-80 ${\mu}M$ for 6 hours, but YHTWE inhibited the decrease of cell viability. 3. Hypoxia decreased catalase and SOD activity, and also $TNF-{\alpha}$ and PKC activity in these cultured cerebral neurons, but YHTWE inhibited the decrease of the catalase and SOD activity in these cultures. 4. Hypoxia triggered the apoptosis via caspase activation and internucleosomal DNA fragmentation. Also hypoxia stimulate the release of cytochrome c forom mitochondria. YHTWE inhibited the apoptosis via caspase activation induced by hypoxia. From these results, it can be suggested that brain ischemia model induced hypoxia showed neurotoxicity on cultured mouse cerebral neurons, and the YHTWE has the neuroprotective effect in blocking the neurotoxicity induced by hypoxia in cultured mouse cerebral neurons.
