        체간 안정화 운동과 여성노인의 기능체력 및 평형성

        본 연구는 여성노인을 대상으로 기능체력과 평형성에 대하여 실내에서 편리하고 용이하게 참여할 수 있는 체간 안정화 운동이 복합운동만큼의 운동효과를 나타내는지 알아보고자 하여 체간 안정화 운동의 가치를 재조명하기 위한 목적이 있다. 65세 이상 여성노인 20명을 대상으로 무선할당을 통해 A그룹 (n=10)과 B그룹(n=10)으로 나누어 체간 안정화 운동과 복합운동에 교차로 각각 6주간 12주 동안 참여하여 기능체력(Senior Fitness Test; SFT)와 평형성을 측정하여 분석하였다. 첫째, 기능체력은 운동시기에 따른 효과가 하지근력, 상지근력, 하지유연성, 민첩성 및 동적평형성, 심폐지구력에서 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 두 그룹의 운동효과와 운동시기에 따른 상호작용의 효과는 각각 심폐지구력과 민첩성 및 동적평형성 에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 개안 시 평형성은 운동시기에 따른 효과가 ENV, REC, TLC, Total Length에서 유의한 차이를 보였고, 폐안 시 평형성은 ENV, RMS, TLC, Total Length, Length/ENV에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 체간 안정화 운동과 복합운동에 참여하였을 때, 복합운동에 참여하였을 때에 운동효과가 더 높은 것으로 나타났지만, 체간 안정화 운동 역시 복합운동만큼의 효과가 나타났다. 그러므로 체간 안정화 운동의 장점은 시간, 장소, 비용적 제약이 없기 때문에, 체간 안정화 운동의 가치를 판단하여 향후 노인 운동프로그램의 권장을 고려해야 할 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to analyze and compare the changes of the senior fitness test (SFT) and balance as participating in two types of exercise. Twenty elderly women over 65 years of age were selected and divided into either a core exercise or complex exercise group randomly. For the first 6 weeks, the participants in the core exercise group performed trunk stabilization; whereas, the other group performed traditional complex exercise. For the remaining 6 weeks, the intervention for two groups was reversed. Results of the SFT revealed that all variables, without hands behind the back, were significantly improved in both groups. Also, the results related to balance showed that envelope area, total length were significantly improved in both groups. However, no statistically significance was found in the other variables. Based on the results, it can be concluded that a core exercise focusing on trunk stabilization exercise may be as much effective as a traditional complex exercise in terms of functional fitness and balance. Furthermore, given the fact that core exercise is easy and costless, it can be more practical and effective for the elderly women.

        Effect of 12-week Exercise Programs for Posture Correction on Standing Postural Alignment in Elderly Women

        Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of different 12-week exercise programs for posture correction on postural alignment in elderly women. Method: The study included 36 elderly women who were randomly divided into 3 groups: Group A (core exercise, n=12), Group B (combined exercise, n=12), and Group C (Pilates exercise, n=12). Postural alignment was measured using 6 variables in frontal and sagittal planes. Two-way mixed analysis of variance was used to compare the effect of exercise program types on postural alignment and a paired t-test was used to compare differences in postural alignment after exercise. Results: The core exercise group showed statistically significant improvement (p<.05) in multiple upper and lower body postural alignment measurements. The combined exercise and Pilates exercise groups showed statistically significant improvement (p<.05) in upper body measurements alone. Conclusion: Core exercise, combined exercise, and Pilates exercise improved postural alignment in elderly woman through improvement in muscle strength and ligament flexibility around the spine and pelvis.

        Analyses of Plantar Foot Pressure and Static Balance According to the Type of Insole in the Elderly

        Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate plantar foot pressure and static balance according to the type of insole in the elderly. Methods: Thirteen elderly (mean age: 67.08±2.25 years, mean height: 159.63±9.64 cm, mean body weight: 61.48±9.06 kg) who had no previous injury experience in the lower limbs and a normal gait pattern participated in this study. Three models of insoles of the normal, 3D, and triangle types were selected for the test. The Pedar-X system and Pedar-X insoles, 3.3 km/h of walking speed, and a compilation of 20 steps walking stages were used to analyze foot-pressure distribution. Static balance test was conducted using Gaitview AFA-50, and balance (opening eyes, closing eyes) was inspected for 20 s. One-way ANOVA was conducted to test the significance of the results with the three insoles. P-value of less than .05 was considered statistically significant. Results: The mean foot pressure under the forefoot regions was the lowest with the 3D insole during treadmill walking (p<.05). The mean value under the midfoot was the highest with the 3D insole (left: p<.05, right: p<.01). The mean value under the rearfoot was the lowest with the 3D insole (p<.001). The maximum foot pressure value under the foot regions was the lowest on both sides of the forefoot with the 3D insole. A statistically significant difference was seen only in the left foot (p<.01). The maximum value under the midfoot was the highest with the 3D insole (p<.001). No statistically significant difference was detected on the values under the rearfoot. In the case of vertical ground reaction force (GRF), statistically significant difference was seen only in the left side rearfoot (p<.01). However, static balance values (ENV, REC, RMS, Total Length, Sway velocity, and Length/ENV) did not show significant differences by the type of insole. Conclusion: These results show that functional insoles can decrease plantar pressure and GRF under the forefoot and rearfoot. Moreover, functional insoles can dislodge the overload of the rearfoot and forefoot to the midfoot. However, functional insoles do not affect the static balance in the elderly.

        In this study, a case study of architectural supervision using BIM was conducted with a focus on the use of BIM in the construction phase of the Korea Electric Power Corporation K project. Through the use of structural and architectural BIM models, the consistency of the as-built drawings was verified, errors were detected, and construction errors were prevented in advance. In addition, the efficiency of the architectural supervision task was improved by integrating 3D shape information and basic drawings of the building, which serve as the basis for construction, through the use of BIM. Through this study, it was concluded that the use of BIM in architectural supervision provides many benefits, such as improving the understanding of project participants during the construction process, and that the digital transformation of the architectural supervision task can improve work efficiency.

        라인댄스와 근력운동을 이용한 복합트레이닝이 고령자의 P300에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of a combined exercise training of line dance and weight training on the behavioral control functions of older adults. To fulfill the purpose of the study, this study conducted an experiments with 10 elderly people in good health. The elderly people participated 12-week period of a combination exercise while the college students did not participate in any combined exercise). After 12-week of training, both groups were tested with P300 which reflects cognitive functions as psycho-physiological index. The participants of this study were voluntarily participating in the exercise program provided by a university "S" located in the City of "B". For the data analysis, this study used descriptive statistics of each factor and repeated ANOVA with using a statistics program which is WIN SPSS-22.0. The results of the study were as the followings. First, the comparison of the peak values of P300 of the brain waves between the elderly group and the student group showed that the general college students were higher in every domain than the elderly group except for the area of Cz. Second, the average response time of the brain wave between the two groups showed that the time of the elderly group was higher. Therefore, it is suggested that the electro-myographic response time of the elderly people that reflects the pivotal factor of potential P300 which reflects the information processing in the brain showed a delay, and therefore their experience of exercise play a part in improving brain functions of older adults. In conclusion, the combination exercise for the elderly people affected significantly on the electro-myographic response time, and the time even exceed the young people’s response time.

      • 12주간의 복합운동이 여성노인의 보행 시 하지 근전도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 12주간 복합운동이 보행 중 여성 노인의 하지 근전도 변화에 대한 효과를 조사하는데 있다. 연구 대상자는 B광역시 D구에 소재한 B경로당(통제집단)과 S경로당(실험집단)으로부터 선정한 만 65세 이상 노인여성으로 실험 전 연구에 대한 목적과 취지를 설명하고, 참가 동의서를 작성 후 자발적 으로 연구에 참여할 의사를 밝힌 22명(실험집단 11명, 통제집단 11명)을 선정하였다. 운동방법은 대상 자가 만65세 이상의 노인여성이라는 점을 감안, 주3회, 1회당 50분, 12주간 실시하였다. 운동의 효과 검증을 위해 복합 운동 시작 전 통제집단과 실험집단을 사전에 측정, 실험집단은 12주간 복합 운동을 실시한 후 사후 측정을 하였으며, 가능한 통제집단에게는 어떠한 제한을 하지 않았다. 전체운동은 50분 으로 준비운동과 정리운동은 각각 10분씩, 스트레칭을 실시하였고, 본 운동은 30분간으로 유산소운동과 저항성운동으로 각각 15분씩 실시하였다. 본 연구에서의 자료처리는 SPSS 21.0 Windows 통계 프로그 램을 이용하여 평균값과 표준편차를 산출하였으며, 두 집단의 사전 값으로 동질성 검사를 위해 독립 t- 검정(independent t-test)을 실시하였다. 또한, 각 집단(복합운동군 vs 통제군)별 사전 사후 효과 검증을 위해 대응표본 t-검정(paired t-test)을 실시하였으며, 모든 데이터 분석을 위한 유의수준은 ɑ=.05로 설 정하였다. 모든 분석결과를 종합해보면, 12주간의 복합운동이 보행 중 여성 노인의 하지 근전도 변화에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 선행연구에서 지속적으로 강조해오고 있는 여성 노인과 운동효과의 이론적 가설을 검증함은 물론, 규칙적이고 적절한 강도의 유산소 운동과 저항 트레 이닝의 복합운동 프로그램이 여성노인의 하지 근력 강화에 도움이 될 수 있다는 과학적 근거를 보여주 고 있다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 향후 장기간의 연구 기간, 다양한 복합운동법과 보행법을 개발하여 여성 노인들이 바람직한 보행동작을 수행할 수 있게 되기를 기대해본다.

        종류별 기능성 인솔 착용에 따른 하지근육의 근활성도 분석

        The purpose of this study was to compare the difference in muscle activity of the lower extremity muscles according to the type of functional insole during normal walking. A total of fourteen male college students were recruited for this study. They were asked to walk with a general insole, a type A insole and a type B insole at a walking speed of 108 steps/min. To measure muscle activity of the lower extremities, EMG electrodes were attached to 7 muscles of the left lower extremity (gluteus medius, gluteus maximus, biceps femoris, gastrocnemius lateralis, adductor, rectus femoris, tibialis anterior). A one-way ANOVA was performed to compare the muscle activity (% RVC) of the lower extremity muscles according to the type of functional insole. The results showed that there were significant differences in biceps femoris (F=20.839, p=.000) and adductor (F=5.448, p=.008) among insole types. From the findings of this study, the following conclusions were derived: First, type A insole (with a mechanism to prevent arch deformation of the foot) was statistically significantly lower in biceps femoris activity than general and type B insoles due to the impact relaxation function of the material attached to the heel. Second, type B insole (supported by a hard wedge in the medial arch) was statistically significantly lower in adductor activity than type A insole, and thus can be effective in preventing the inversion or eversion of the foot.
