Ji-Seung crafts(Paper string crafts) is traditional handicraft of Korea, which is to strip and twist Hanji(Korean traditional paper) to make goods such as straw mat, box of wedding gifts(Ham), bottle, basket, bag, etc. Ji-Seung crafts requires considerable time and concentration due to process in addition to weaving, which is to prepare for certain amount of raw materials by twisting Hanji string with hand. Because of the arduous process, it has been difficult to popularize Ji-Seung crafts even though it is an outstanding traditional handicrafts. On the other hand, the elaboration could also be a strength to aim for high value added products by recognizing Ji-Seung crafts as high-quality handicrafts. Dress made by Ji-Seung crafts, ‘The Life & Foam of an Indigo blue Sea’ is a piece of work created by traditional Ji-Seung crafts, which was tailored by three-dimensional structure to be actually wearable. In an attempt to find proper exhibition place to maximize the visual effect when the model walks in the dress, it was decided to submit for WOW(World of WearableArt Award) Show in New Zealand. It is an international art fashion show held annually in New Zealand and it is known for lively and brilliant imagination by exhibiting wearable work piece without being limited in raw materials. In was first started in 1987 at Nelson, New Zealand and since 2005, it has been convened in Wellington, the capital of New Zealand. In WOW Show in 2006, 380 pieces were submitted from 90 nations and among them, 154 pieces were selected for the main stage. Dress made by Ji-Seung crafts, ‘The Life & Foam of an Indigo blue Sea’ was awarded with the 1st prize in international competition. The purpose of this study is to share my experience to propose the possibility for young craftsmen to appear on the international stage and find the future of new traditional handicrafts.
This study analyzes the common space of the high schools before and after the decade of 2009 which starts Subject-centered clusters school plan, and proposes the direction of common space planning for the future. Based on the floor plans of high schools awarded as excellent school facilities every year, first, types and numbers of common space, second, area ratio between common space and program space and also moving space and staying space, third, space connections were analyzed for tracking the change of the relationship between common, staying and program spaces. The study results demonstrated that types, numbers and area ratio of the common space were increased as the years go on. Especially, the area ratio of staying space was dramatically increased after 2009 and this result was caused by the home-base, alcove space, and hall that were adopted for subject-centered clusters planning after 2009. Connecting diagram of staying area and program spaces also shows the spaces related to staying area were changed from a classrooms and administrative office etc. to a library, gym, and seminar rooms etc. In case of staying area, it would have a value as a common space for various student activities such as group activities, meetings, and multi-uses. Because student activities would be changed and encouraged depending on the location, sizes and program spaces around staying area, it should be emphasized that the planning for staying area is critical for future school design.
RHadoop is a collection of R packages that allow users to manage and analyze data with Hadoop. In this paper, we implement K-Means algorithm based on MapReduce framework with RHadoop to make the clustering method applicable to large scale data. The main idea introduces a combiner as a function of our map output to decrease the amount of data needed to be processed by reducers. We showed that our K-Means algorithm using RHadoop with combiner was faster than regular algorithm without combiner as the size of data set increases. We also implemented Elbow method with MapReduce for finding the optimum number of clusters for K-Means clustering on large dataset. Comparison with our MapReduce implementation of Elbow method and classical kmeans() in R with small data showed similar results. 본 논문에서는 대용량 데이터를 처리 및 분석하기 위해 RHadoop 플랫폼에서 실제 데이터와 모의 실험 데이터를 가지고 K-평균 클러스터링을 구현하고, MapReduce의 컴바이너 사용여부에 따른 처리 속도를 비교하고자 한다. 또한, K-평균 클러스터링에서 최적의 군집수 결정방법을 MapReduce 프로그램으로 구현하여 실제 데이터에 적용하고자 한다. 그리고 제안된 RHadoop 플랫폼의 확장 가능성을 보이기 위해 실제 데이터에서 R의 기본 패키지에서 kmeans() 함수와 bigmemory 패키지 상에서 유용한 bigkmeans() 함수와 처리 속도를 비교하고자 한다.
본 연구는 영화 〈고양이를 부탁해〉에서 등장하는 인물 캐릭터와 미장센을 분석함으로써 이 속에서 직간접적으로 표현되는 인천의 로컬리티를 살펴보고 있다. 영화속 캐릭터들은 이 영화의 공간적 배경이 되고 있는 인천의 로컬리티를 특징적으로 드러내고 있다. 혜주와 지영은 일견 서로 상반되는 듯하지만, 궁극적으로는 인천에 대한 부정적인 인식을 표현한다는 점에서 서로 일치한다. 쌍둥이 자매 비류와 온조는 인천 화교가 지니는 역사성과 장소성의 아이러니를 보여준다. 태희는 성인, 남성, 중앙, 자본 중심주의의 기존 질서를 선망하며 그것을 자기의 욕망으로 취하는 대신, 대안적 질서를 꿈꾸며 타자들과 끝없이 접속하는 인물이다. 이 캐릭터는 허브와 네트워크 공간으로서의 인천을 상징적으로 보여준다. 마지막으로 영화 속 고양이가 보여주는 탈주의 의미에 주목하고, 또한 이 고양이가 ‘선물’로서 친구들 사이를 순환하며 일종의 우정의 공동체를 직조해 나가는 것을 밝힌다. 선물은, 현대 사회의 중앙(서울)중심, 화폐경제 등을 비판적으로 고찰하고 새로운 대안 공동체를 구성하는 데 중요한 의미가 있다고 본다. The purpose of this study is to find out locality of Incheon, which is released directly or indirectly from the movie, in viewpoint of character and mise-en-scene. The locality of Incheon, the background of this movie is distinctively exposed through the characters. Hye-ju and Ji-young have conflict characters at a glance, but eventually they are aligned with each other, in negative viewpoint of Incheon. Twin sisters, Bi-ryu And On-jo, show the irony of historicity and placeness of overseas chinese in Incheon. Tae-hee is a character who contacting the others endlessly while dreaming alternative orders instead of being envious traditional orders of adulthood, manhood, centrality and capitalism and taking them to her own desires. This character shows the emblem of Incheon as a space of hub and network. Lastly, we takes note of the meaning of escape of cat in this movie. This cat means a circulating “gift” for the characters reflecting formation of their friendship community. We consider that the gift has an important meaning as criticizing the contemporary centralism and monetary economy and constituting a new alternative community.
A Formulated Korean Red Ginseng Extract Inhibited Nitric Oxide Production through Akt- and Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase-dependent Heme Oxygenase-1 Upregulation in Lipoteichoic Acid-stimulated Microglial Cells
생삼을 쪄서 건조시킨 홍삼은 전통적으로 사용되고 있는 약재로서 면역, 내분비 및 중추신경계 작용을 증진시키며 염증을 억제하는 효과가 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 그람 양성균의 세포벽 성분인 lipoteichoic acid (LTA)에 의한 염증반응에 홍삼추출액(RGE)이 항염증 효과를 가지는지 관찰하고 그 작용 기전을 연구하였다. BV-2 소교세포에서 RGE는 세포에 독성을 유도하지 않으면서 LTA로 인한 nitric oxide (NO)의 생성과 inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) 발현을 억제하였으며, NF-kB p65의 핵으로의 이동과 IkB-a의 분해 또한 억제하였다. 한편, RGE는 농도의존적으로 heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1)의 발현을 유도하였으며, HO-1 siRNA를 처리했을 때는 RGE가 iNOS의 발현을 억제하지 못하였다. RGE는 HO-1의 발현에 관여하는 전사인자인 nuclear factor E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2)를 핵으로 이동을 촉진시켰다. 또한 RGE에 의한 HO-1의 발현은 phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase (PI-3K) 및 MAPK 억제제에 의해 감소되었으며, RGE가 Akt와 ERK, p38, JNK의 인산화를 유도하였다. 이상의 결과를 종합해보면, RGE는 PI-3K/Akt 및 ERK, p38, JNK 신호전달과정을 통해 HO-1의 발현을 유도함으로써 NO와 같은 염증매개물질의 생성을 억제한다는 것을 알 수 있다. 그러므로 홍삼추출액은 그람 양성균에 의한 신경염증과 염증관련 신경계 질환의 치료제로서 사용될 수 있을 것이라 사료된다. Korean red ginseng made from steaming and drying fresh ginseng has long been used as a traditional herbal medicine due to its effects on the immune, endocrine, and central nerve systems and its anti-inflammatory activity. In this study, we investigated the molecular mechanism responsible for the anti- inflammatory effects of a formulated Korean red ginseng extract (RGE) in response to lipoteichoic acid (LTA), a cell wall component of gram-positive bacteria. RGE inhibited LTA-induced nitric oxide (NO) secretion and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) expression in BV-2 microglial cells, without affecting cell viability. RGE also inhibited nuclear translocation of nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) p65 and degradation of IκB-α. In addition, RGE increased the expression of heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) in a dose-dependent manner, and the inhibitory effect of RGE on iNOS expression was abrogated by small interfering RNA-mediated knockdown of HO-1. Moreover, RGE induced nuclear translocation of nuclear factor E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2), a transcription factor that regulates HO-1 expression. Furthermore, the phosphoinositide-3-kinase (PI-3K) inhibitor and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) inhibitors suppressed RGE-mediated expression of HO-1, and RGE enhanced the phosphorylation of Akt, extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERKs), p38, and c-JUN N-terminal kinases (JNKs). These results suggested that RGE suppressed the production of NO, a proinflammatory mediator, by inducing HO-1 expression via PI-3K/Akt- and MAPK-dependent signaling in LTA-stimulated microglia. The findings indicate that RGE could be used for the treatment of neuroinflammation induced by grampositive bacteria and that it may have therapeutic potential for various neuroinflammation-associated disorders.
이 연구는 전전두엽 뉴로피드백 훈련이 청소년의 주의력과 수면에 미치는 영향을 검증할 목적으로 이루어졌다. 청소년의 삶의 질과 학습에 직결되는 주의력과 수면에 대한 다양한 연구 방법 가운데 뉴로피드백 훈련 효과가 과학적으로 입증될 수 있는지 실제 실험을 통하여 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 연구를 위해 S시 J여자 고등학교에서 실험군 22명, 대조군 22명으로 구분하여 실험군에게 뉴로피드백 훈련을 실시하였다. 2019년 3월부터 7월 첫 주까지 주3회, 훈시간은 30분씩 하였다. 수집한 뇌파데이터는 선형분석법을 사용하여 고속퓨리에 변환을 통한 주파수계열파워 스펙트럼 분석법을 이용하여 통계처리하였다. 뉴로피드백 훈련 전과 훈련 후의 집단 간 변화 차이는 T-test를 사용하였다. 연구 결과는 전전두엽 뉴로피드백 훈련이 청소년의 주의력을 향상시키고, 수면을 개선시키는 데 효과가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론적으로 환경적요소와 교육적 요소가 중요한 역할을 한다. 두 요인의 상호작용은 개인의 독특한 뇌 구조와 기능을 낳기 때문에 뉴로피드백 훈련의 영향은 청소년들에게 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 과학적이고 객관적인 방법을 활용하여 결과를 도출하였다는 것이 중요함을 다시 강조한다. The purpose of this research was to confirm that prefrontal neurofeedback training has an impact on adolescents. The objective of this study was to prove its scientific effect through experimentation. The effect of the training was measured by the difference in neuro? frequencies before and after the training. For this research, an experimental group and a control group, each with 22 students in J High School located in the city of S participated in this study. From May to July 2019, the training was conducted three times a week and for 30 minutes per session. The neuro? frequency data collected were analyzed through the methods of F.F.T. The resulting changes from the neurofeedback training for each group were analyzed by T-Tests. The result of the study is as follows; Neurofeedback training has had a positive effect on adolescent attention and sleep. In conclusion, the environmental and educational factors also play an important role. As the interaction of the latter two factors yield an individual"s unique brain structure and functionality, the impact of the neurofeedback training is important on adolescents. The derivation of the above results by utilizing scientific and objective methods reemphasizes the importance of this study.
This study investigated the pre-treatment effect of egg white autolysate, which was inserted by Cheonggukjang mucilages extract, after observing the improvement effect on hair by treating it on virgin hair, damaged hair, heavily damaged hair. After letting egg white to be decomposed with being inserted twice by Cheonggukjang mucilages extract, it applied for the pre-treatment in treating permanent wave. The result could be summed up as follows. As for hair thickness, the experiment group which consist of virgin hair, one time bleached hair, five times bleached hair was raised by about 11.7%, 13%, 14.6% respectively, when compared to the control group that was underwent only for the procedure of permanent wave. As for tensile strength, the experiment group which consist of virgin hair, one time bleached hair, five times bleached hair was raised, when compared to the control group of which samples was underwent only for the procedure of permanent wave. As for wave formation, the experiment group which consist of virgin hair, one time bleached hair, five times bleached hair was raised by about 9.6%, 10.9%, 23.9% respectively, when compared to the control group. As for wave longlasting, the experiment group which consist of virgin hair, one time bleached hair, five times bleached hair was raised by about 9.6%, 10.9%, 23.9% respectively, when compared to the control group. Therefore, it means that the treatment agents that employ Cheonggukjang mucilages extract and egg white can be readily produced and used at home.
This study was intended to clarify pre-treatment effect of the earthworm autolysates of which molecular weight distribution are different respectively in treating permanent wave on normal hair. We added the protease crude enzyme extract gotten by cultivating Bacillus subtilis K-54 separated from cheonggukjang (bean-paste soup prepared with ground fermented soybeans) when making the earthworm autolysates. In the meantime, we made the molecular weight distribution of earthworm autolysates became different through making the additive amount of protease crude enzyme became different. We observed the molecular weight distribution of earthworm autolysates using SDS-PAGE, and measured hair thickness, tensile strength, density analysis by methylene blue dyeing, wave formation and maintenance strength with the protease crude enzyme (0.112 unit) after carrying out the pre-treatment on each autolysates. In the event of making the earthworm autolysates, the highest rate for the permanent effect was shown at LbB50(0.112+0.0895×50 unit) of which protease per 1 g earthworm was added by about 30 times. As the result of study, for securing quality as a pre-treatment agent in treating permanent wave on normal hair, it was thought that it is more important to make the earthworm protein became the decompression substances with the proper size than to make them became the low molecular protein.
폴란드 유대계 프랑스 작가 조르쥬 페렉은 유년기에 부모를 잃었다. 그의 아버지는 전쟁에서 부상당해 죽었고 그의 어머니는 아우슈비츠(Auschwitz)로 후송된 후 사라졌다. 페렉은 자신의 유년기 기억의 부재를 회복하기 위해 글쓰기를 자신의 운명적인 작업으로 여긴다. 부모의 죽음과, 그에 따른 유년기 기억의 상실(상실의 기억) 및 집의 상실은, 뿌리 뽑힌 자기 정체성, 고아로서의 자기의식, 작가로서의 정체성 자각과 연관된 것으로 볼 수 있을 것이다. 페렉에게서 유년기의 상실은, 깊이 뿌리박힌 장소의 상실과 연관되어 이해될 수 있을 것이다. 그리고 이런 상실을 극복하기 위해 조각난 과거를 짜 맞추어 보는 것은 고통스러운 과정이다. 이것은 ‘기억의 정치’라 할 수 있는데, 이 때 기억은 단순히 역사 혹은 시간성에만 연관된 것이 아니라 특정 장소(성)와도 밀접하게 관련되어 있다. 깊이 뿌리박힌 장소는 우리를 보호해주고, 또한 시간의 흐름에 따라 변해가고 잊혀져가는 것에 대한 저항의 “기준, 출발점, 기원”이 될 수 있다. 그런데 근대적 공간은 기술문명이 지배하고 근대적 이성이 발현되는 곳으로, 자본축적을 위해 추상화되고 계량화되면서, 인간의 삶과 장소는 괴리된다. 이 글에서는 페렉의 글쓰기를 참고하면서 장소를 기억하고 기록함으로써 장소와 인간의 관계를 회복할 수 있는 여지를 가늠해 본다. 사적이거나 공적인 기억은 언제나 장소에 기반하고 있으며, 이러한 장소에 대한 기억은 사라져 가는 것에 대한 끈질긴 추적이자 망각과 죽음을 늦추는 일이 될 것이다. This paper is treating the relationship between human identity and places regarding the french author G. Perec's efforts to recover his memories of childhood through writings. Perec's father died of having hurt during the world war Ⅱ and his mother was disappeared in Auschwitz. This was why he taked the writing as fated task to recover his vanished memories of childhood, in which he lived without parents and any stable house. Based on the experiences of Perec and his effort to recover his memories through writings, this paper argues that the vanished memories of the author's childhood is inseparable to the fact that there was no place, in which he could have been deeply rooted. This thesis can also be applied to the modern everyday life, that has been characterized by the term "homelessness". Heidegger, Bachelard and Benjamin agreed on this diagnose of the modern with some differences. These philosophers were also trying to find out the way to resist against the more accelerated processes of forgetting in modern times. In the case of Perec, it was writing, that has lead to pay attention to the everyday life and placeness. Regardless of whether his writings recovered the authentic memories or invented them, the writing was an important agency for the task resisting against the forgetting process in modern times and making us know of the deep connection of placeness and memories in human life.
