This study addresses the limitations of traditional fisheries resource survey methods, such as high labor costs, time consumption, and depth constraints, by proposing remote monitoring systems. It examines the battery capacity and consumption of remote unmanned fish finders to identify optimal configurations for efficient and reliable operation. Through various experiments, the study analyzes the relationship between power consumption and battery lifespan, highlighting potential improvements in efficiency. The research focuses on unmanned, buoy-based fish detection systems, which allow users to monitor fish group data around artificial reefs using wireless communication at sea. By comparing battery consumption and setting arbitrary capacities, the study provides foundational data for the future integration of solar panels as a sustainable energy solution to enhance system performance and extend operational durations, particularly in remote marine environments.
강원도 대문어(Enteroctopus dofleini )의 지가리(연승 어업)를 활용한 자원량 추정 연구

This study conducts a resource estimation of the Enteroctopus dofleini in the coastal waters of Gangwon Province, based on actual catch surveys using the jigging (longline) fishing gear. The research analyzes catch data collected from commercial fishing operations to estimate the population of Enteroctopus dofleini in the study area. By integrating data from the catch surveys, the study aims to provide an accurate assessment of the octopus resource in the region. Additionally, the study evaluates the effectiveness of the jigging gear in resource management and its potential for supporting sustainable fisheries practices. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of effective conservation strategies and fisheries management plans for the sustainable preservation of Enteroctopus dofleini populations in Gangwon Province.
여수 연안에서 삼중자망으로 어획한 어류의 종조성 및 출현 양상

The fish species composition and CPUE abundance of fishery resources were surveyed by trammel net at 8 stations of 4 small trenches along the coastal areas of Yeosu, South Korea, in June, August, and October 2024. A total of 416 fish were collected, comprising 14 orders, 28 families, 31 genera, and 36 species. The 1042 small trench showed the highest distribution, with 22 species, 168 individuals, and a total weight of 20.8 kg. The most dominant species among the caught fish was Chelidonichthys spinosus, with 88 individuals recorded. The catch by survey period was the lowest in August, the highest in June, and showed the greatest species diversity.
