The aim of this study is to make clear the Chen Duxiu's last years political thought. At that time, China meet with the Japan's surface invasion expanded by so called 7·7 Lugou Bridge(1937) incident. Therefore Chinese run into the critical moment of nationality. Chen Duxiu insisted on the co-operative solidarity based on the anti-Japanese nationalism without a factional interest. It is what he said the solidarity means Chinese communist party and Guomintang's co-operation. But in fact, he was inclined to Guomintang. After break out the World WarⅡ, he had put in order the thought of his democracy and a view point about the World War Ⅱ. That is to say, he regarded the World WarⅡ as a Democracy versus Fascism and insisted on the victory of democracy. For him, democracy was a eternal destination which stand above the time and space to human being. At this period, his thought of democracy is just represent the revolve that he had insist the thought of democracy from 5·4 New Cultural Movement in China.

Ch'en du-xiu passionately took part is not only revolutionary but enlightening activity before the New Cultural Movement. Especially he denied the traditional education which had existed in that times accepting both the progressive thoughts and studies. Afterwards, he actively ran into the reformational movement. In short time after his campaign, he realized that despotic dynasty of Ch'ing could not be overturned by reformational movement alone. Therefore Ch'en du-xiu took one of the leader who engaged in both press and revolutionary activity.

In this thesis I intend to argue on a wave of new ideas that prevailed in the late 1910s, which is called the period of the New Cultural Movement. By focusing on the criticism of Ch'en Tu-hsiu who represented reform and revolution when Kang Yu-wei was leading the traditional and conservative idea. In the 1910s, We can figure out not only the intellectual surroundings of that time but also the future of China. Ch'en Tu-hsiu's denial of the traditional idea and of the constitutional monarchism came from both the Anti-Confucianism and the belief of the democratic-republic system that led to the Western Democracy and Science. That helped Chen Tu-hsiu be in the vanguard of the New Cultural Movement in the long run and be strongly supported the new were of thought though the periodical, " The New Youth" (新靑年) in which he was a manager. With the harsh criticism about the traditional and conservative scholars, he implanted the new idea in the mind of the young, expecting them to establish a new China. His expectation later bore fruit in the appearance of the Chinese Communist party.

배 자가결실성 "원교 나-자수정 2호"

배는 배우체 자가 불화합성을 보이며, 이것은 단일 유전자좌의 복대립 유전자에 의하여 제어된다. '원교 나-자수정 2호'는 농촌진흥청 국립원예특작과학원에서 고품질 조생종 '원황'에 '92-18-79' (오사이십세기 자식계통, S4smS4sm)를 2001년에 교배하여 얻은 계통 중에 자가 결실성이며 품질이 우수하여 중간모본으로 선발되었다. 만개기는 '오사이십세기'보다 1일 정도 빠르고 '원황'과는 유사하다. 수세는 중, 수자는 반개장형이다. 검은별무늬병(V Pear has a gametophytic self-incompatibility (SI) system and its SI reaction is controlled by a single multi-allelic S-locus. 'Wonkyo Na-jasoojung 2' was selected from a cross between 'Wonwhang', early season major pear cultivar with high fruit quality and self-incompatible, and 92-18-79 (S4smS4sm) obtained from self cross of 'Osa-nijisseiki' (S2S4sm) (SM, stylar-part mutant), self-compatible bud mutant that originated from self-incompatible 'Nijisseiki' (S2S4) made in 2001 at the National Institute of Horticultural and Herbal Science, Rural Development Administration in Korea. '92-18-79' was selected as a self-compatible source through field investigation. It bloomed 1 day earlier than 'Osa-Nijisseiki' and similar to 'Wonwhang' in 2008. It is medium in tree vigor and spreading in tree habit. 'Wonkyo Na-jasoojung 2' is classified as highly susceptible to pear scab (Venturia nashicola) similar to 'Osa-Nijisseiki' and as resistant to black spot (Alternaria kikuchiana) similar to 'Wonwhang'. It had 65.7% fruiting rate by self pollination. The average optimum harvest time of 'Wonkyo Na-jasoojung 2' was 148 days after full bloom and it matured 2 days earlier than 'Osa-Nijisseiki' and 11 days later than 'Wonwhang'. The fruit is roundish oblate in shape and yellowish brown in skin color. Average fruit weight was 445 g and soluble solids content was 13.3 ºBrix. The flesh had abundant juice and negligible grit.

배 검은별무늬병 저항성 ‘흑성 1호’

<P>Venturia nashicola에 의해 동양배에 발생하는 검은별무늬병은 국내 배 재배에 가장 큰 피해를 주는 병이다. 이 병에 저항성 품종을 육성하기 위하여 저항성 유전 자원 탐색을 1997~1999년까지 원예연구소 포장 및 인공 접종을 실시하여 저항성친으로 서양배 ‘Bartlett’을 선발하였다. 농촌진흥청 국립원예특작과학원 과수과에서 고품질 중생종 ‘선황’에 ‘Bartlett’을 2000년에 교배하여 저항성 우량 계통인 중간모본 ‘흑성 1호’를 2007년에 선발하였다. 만개일은 4월 25일로 ‘선황’보다 1일 늦고, ‘Bartlett’보다 4일 정도 빠르며 수세는 강하고 수자는 직립형이다. 검은별무늬병에 ‘Bartlett’과 같이 강하고 ‘신고’, ‘원황’, ‘화산’ 등 국내 주요 재배 품종들과 교배 친화성이 있다. 과실은 만개 후 150일경에 성숙되어 양친에 비해 10일 정도 성숙 일수가 길며, 과형은 편원, 과피는 암황갈색이다. 평균과중은 249g, 당도는 13.2°Brix이며 과즙은 중~다이다 석세포가 적고 서양배와 같이 향기가 있으며 동양배의 아삭아삭함이 있다.</P>

<P>장미과에 속하는 배는 배우체 자가 불화합성을 보이며, 이것은 단일 유전자좌의 복대립 유전자에 의하여 제어된다. ‘자수정 1호’는 농촌진흥청 국립특작과학원에서 고품질 중생종 ‘화산’에 ‘92-18-34’(오사이십세기 자식계통, S₄<SUP>sm</SUP>S₄<SUP>sm</SUP>)를 2000년에 교배하여 얻은 계통 중에 자가 결실성 및 과실, 생육 특성 조사를 통해 선발되었다. 만개기는 ‘오사이십세기’와 ‘화산’보다 1일 정도 늦으며 수세는 중, 수자는 반개장형이다. 검은별무늬병(Venturia nashicola)에는 ‘신고’ 정도로 약하고 검은무늬병(Alternaria kikuchiana)에 ‘오사이십세기’ 정도로 약하다. 자가 결실률은 72.7%로 안정된 자가 결실률을 보였다. 만개후 성숙기까지는 147일로 ‘오사이십세기’보다는 7일, ‘화산’보다는 10일 이상 빠르다. 과형은 원편원이고 과피는 황갈색이다. 평균 과중은 308g으로 ‘오사이십세기’보다 크며 당도는 13.9°Brix로 높고 산미가 있어 감산이 조화된 식미가 있으며 과즙은 풍부하고 석세포는 적다.</P>

진독수의 트로츠키파 활동에 대하여

It can be stated that Trotskism in China was in fact formed in Russia; Chinese students who studied in Russia at that time, observing struggle for governmental struggle and theoretical arguments between Stalin and Trotsky, sympathized with Trotsky's policy line and chose it. When Stalin got rid of Trotsky, after his success in the struggle for the governmental power, the Chinese students in Russia went back to China, advertised Trotskism, and formed its organization. Around this period, Chen Duxiu came to know Trotskian theory from Russia, realized that it coincided with his ideology, and actively participated in the Troskian policy line. Furthermore, the fact that he was released and dismissed from the Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party made him an even stronger supporter of Trotskism. He unified several separated Trotskian parties into the 'Chinese Communism Confederation' for the efficient struggle, and started as the Secretary of this Confederation. Once he had been the Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, then he became the Secretary of the Opposing Party. However, many Trotskian people were arrested and sent into prison by the suppression of the Kuomintang and by the betrayer inside the Trotskian group, and Chen Duxiu was also sent into prison on his second arrest in October 1932. Because of this, Trotskism became a minor party and lost its political power. Chen Duxiu had many experiences, among which were as a political scape goat in the Chinese Communist Party, separation within the Trotskian group, and severe suppression by the Kuomintang and being sent into prison, but he did not lose his consistent viewpoints, which were basically against capitalistic empiricism and for the liberation of suppressed peoples. After his discharge from prison, Chen Duxiu started to study democracy on an aloof ground unbiased to any political parties, in order to complete the great project of democracy which he had argued for throughout his lifetime.

배 검은별무늬병 저항성 "원교 나-흑성 2호"

Venturia nashicola에 의한 검은별무늬병 저항성 품종을 육성하기 위하여 저항성 유전자원 탐색을 1997~1999년까지 국립원예특작과학원 포장검정 및 인공 접종을 실시하여 저항 성친으로 서양배 "청마려"을 선발하였다. 농촌진흥청 국립원예특작과학원 과수과에서 고품질 만생종 "만수"에 "청마려"를 1997년에 교배하여 저항성 우량 계통인 중간모본 "원교나-흑성 2호" 을 2008년에 선발하였다. 2008년 만개일은 4월 19일로 "만수" 보다 1 "Wonkyo Na-heukseong 2" was selected from a cross between "Kiyomaro", late season European cultivar with highly resistance and "Mansoo", late season Asian cultivar with long storability, large size and low susceptibility to pear scab made in 1997 at the National Institute of Horticultural & Herbal Science of Rural Development Administration in Korea. "Kiyomaro", released cross between "Taiheiyo" and "Bartlett" with scab resistance caused by Venturia nashicola in Japan, with no visual symptoms on any leaves was used as scab resistant source after field investigation and artificial inoculation test during 1997~1999. "Wonkyo Na-heukseong 2" blooms 1 day earlier than "Mansoo" and 3 days later than "Kiyomaro" in 2008. It is strong in tree vigor and upright-spreading in tree habit. It is classified as highly resistant to pear scab as "Kiyomaro" and "Bartlett", and cross-compatible with parental variety and Korean major pear varieties such as "Niitaka" and "Wonwhang". The average optimum harvest time of "Wonkyo Na-heukseong 2" was approximately 180 days after full bloom and it matured about 20 days shorter than parental varieties. The fruit is spindle in shape and yellowish greenish brown in skin color. Average fruit weight was 484 g and soluble solids content was 13.2^ºBrix. The flesh had medium to high juice and negligible grit. Its fruit was crisp like Asian pear.
