수렵인의 경험 수준과 개인적 특성이 수렵만족에 미치는 영향
신원섭(Won Sop Shin) 한국산림과학회 1999 한국산림과학회지 Vol.88 No.3
A multiple-satisfaction approach was used to determine hunting satisfaction. A sample of 1000 hunters was surveyed via mail questionnaire. Principal component analysis revealed six dimensions of hunting satisfaction : harvest, equipment, nature, skill, escapism, and social contact. Among these factors, items related nature were evaluated as the most important to their hunting satisfaction. Correlations between specialization variables (past experience, days participated in hunting, and perceived level of hunting skill) and each factor derived were examined. This study also investigated any differences in hunting satisfaction due to personal variables such as age, education, and place of residence. The results of this study indicated that no differences, except age and hunting skill, were found between the two variables.

The major purpose of this study was to analyze the observance of attributes influencing on park visitors` experiences. The Importance-Performance technique has been commonly used to evaluate the importance of various recreation programs and management. In this study, the Importance-Performance technique was adopted to present a new approach called Observance-Influence Analysis. During the summer of 1996, 550 Worak-san National Park visitors were surveyed. The results of this study indicated that physical and biological attributes such as clear water, clean air, and beautiful valley, etc. were highly observed by visitors and those also highly influenced on visitors` experiences. Based on the respondents` rating to the attributes, action grid was formulated to suggest management actions. As mentioned before, attributes such as clear water, clean air, and beautiful valley were recognized as attributes needed concentrate efforts. Attributes related to forests such as diverse plants and trees, well maintained forests, etc. were also suggested as potential concerned attributes. However attributes related to services did not influenced highly on the visitors` experiences.

The objectives of this study were to (a) describe and quantify the socio-psychological outcomes of forest recreationist, (b) to describe the setting attributes facilitating the outcomes, and (c) to identify which attributes were most important to visitors. During the spring of 1995, 426 visitors from the Worak-san National Park selected for this study. This study identified nine resource attributes (physical, social and managerial), and twelve socio-psychological outcomes on the forest reccreation values. This study also determined that a significant linear relationship exists between resource attributes and visitors` experience outcomes. Use of information on the socio-psychological outcomes sought by recreationists is discussed. Such information would aid in the developing recreation inventory, selecting management tools and techniques, and in the differential economic valuation of recreation resources.
월악산 국립공원 이용객의 경험수준이 자연 및 공원관리에 대한 인식에 미치는 영향

The amount and frequency of past experience in forest recreation have been considered as one component of an overall specialization. Past research has shown that more specialized recreationists have differing motives, attitudes, satisfaction levels, environment preferences, and management preferences. The overall purpose in this study was to investigate the effect of specialization on users` attitudes toward environment and park management. 320 Wolaksan visitors were surveyed in the summer of 1993 to collect the data. Specialization, as measured by past experience, frequencies of visitation to any forest recreation areas per year, visitor days per year, and number of visits to Wolaksan, was tested the relationship to the users` levels of environment attitudes and park management perception. Among the specialization variables, past experience was highly correlated with the levels of attitudes toward environment. Experienced recreationist preferred natural environments to settings associated with social activities. Most of respondents perceived the importance of the attributes related to park management. However, they gave low performance scores to the attributes.

This study examines whether or not forest campers` self-actualization, that is the tendency for a person to become actualized in what he or she perceived to be his or her own potential, and their attitudes toward nature were related to quality of forest areas where they visited. People were sampled in three Ontario Provincial Parks in Canada from September of 1988 to Augusr. of 1989. From a total of 138.317 campers, 540 were sampled randomly to collect data. People sampled ranged in age from 15 to 75 years with a mean of slightly over 37. They were highly educated. A majority of them resided in urban or suburban areas. Campers` level of self-actualization and their nature attitudes were highly correlated with forest area quality in both perceived or subjective and objective measures. Their self-actualization scores were also highly correlated with their attitudes toward nature. However, there was no significant relationships among campers` self-actualization, attitudes toward nature, and quality of forests where they camped when they were treated simultaneously.
