CSMA/CD 통신방식에서 대기중인 터미널의 수의 분포
신양우 國立 昌原大學校 基礎科學硏究所 1993 基礎科學硏究所論文集 Vol.4 No.-
In this paper we obtain the necessary and sufficient condition for the infinite population, slotted, nonpersistent CSMA/CD channel to be stable under the retransmission control policy with retransmission rate inversely proportional to the number of blocked terminals. Imbedded Markov chain techniques are used to find the stable condition of the system. We also derive the limiting distribution of the number of blocked terminals in the slotted, nonpersistent CSMA/CD channel with the constant propagation deley, general distributions of collision recovery time and transmission time.
ON APPROXIMATIONS FOR GI/G/c RETRIAL QUEUES
신양우,문덕희 한국전산응용수학회 2013 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.31 No.1
The effects of the moments of the interarrival time and servicetime on the system performance measures such as blocking probability, mean and standard deviation of the number of customers in service facilityand orbit are numerically investigated. The results reveal the performancemeasures are more sensitive with respect to the interarrival time than theservice time. Approximation for GI/G/c retrial queues using PH/PH/cretrial queue is presented.
ALGORITHMIC SOLUTION FOR M/M/c RETRIAL QUEUE WITH PH_2-RETRIAL TIMES
신양우 한국전산응용수학회 2011 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.29 No.3
We present an algorithmic solution for the stationary distribution of the M/M/c retrial queue in which the retrial times of each customer in orbit are of phase type distribution of order 2. The system is modeled by the level dependent quasi-birth-and-death (LDQBD) process.
Throughput analysis of two-stage manufacturing systems with merge and blocking
신양우,문덕희 한국전산응용수학회 2015 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.33 No.1
Parallel lines are often used to increase production rate in many manufacturing systems where the main linesplits into several lines in parallel, and after some operations, they merge into a main line again. Queueing networks with finite buffers have been widely used for modeling and analyzing manufacturing systems. This paper provides an approximation technique for multi-server two-stage networks with merge configuration and blockingwhich will be a building block for analysis of general manufacturing systemswith parallel lines and merge configuration. The main idea of the method is to decompose the original system into subsystems thathave two service stations with multiple servers, two buffers and external arrivals to the second stage are allowed. The subsystems are modeled by level dependent quasi-birth-and-death (LDQBD) process.
무극광산(無極鑛山)의 탐사(探査)와 개발현황(開發現況)

Muguk gold deposits are composed of quartz veins emplaced along faults in Mesozoic granodiorite. General strikes and dips of the veins are $N15{\sim}20^{\circ}W$ and $70{\sim}80^{\circ}NE$. Associated ore minerals are pyrite, arsenopyrite, sphalerite, galena, chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite, native silver, argentite, tetrahedrite and electrum. Vein mineral paragenesis is complicated by repeated fracturing, but five distinct depositional stages can be recognized. Electrum grains are associated mainly with sulfide bands formed along both margins of pale pink quartz of stage 3, and with patches of pyrite aggregate of stage 4. Before the close down in 1972, Muguk gold mine yielded more than 8 tons of gold of which major portion was produced from the No.2 vein. No.2 vein, extending about 1,500m laterally, was exploited to a depth of about 750m. In 1984, Young-poong mining company acquired the mining property and began geologic mapping, geochemical and geophysical exploration, diamond drilling and exploration tunnelling around the mine area to seek for other rich gold-bearing quartz veins. As the Samhyungje vein was disclosed to be the most rich vein, exploration works were focussed on the Samhyungje vein. As of August 1987, 22,338m of diamond drilling and 9,652m of exploration tunnelling have been undertaken. Owing to the successful result of exploration, the Muguk mine commenced normal operation on January 1987, treating 5,500 tons of ore per month.

An $MMAP[3]/PH/1$ Queue with Negative Customers and Disasters
신양우 대한수학회 2006 대한수학회보 Vol.43 No.2
We consider a single-server queue with service timedistribution of phase type where positive customers, negative cus-tomers and disasters arrive according to a Markovian arrival pro-cess with marked transitions (MMAP). We derive simple formulaefor the stationary queue length distributions. The Laplace-Stieltjestransforms (LST's) of the sojourn time distributions under the com-binations of removal policies and service disciplines are also ob-tained by using the absorption time distribution of a Markov chain.
DIMENSION REDUCTION FOR APPROXIMATION OF ADVANCED RETRIAL QUEUES : TUTORIAL AND REVIEW
신양우 한국전산응용수학회 2017 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.35 No.5
Retrial queues have been widely used to model the many practical situations arising from telephone systems, telecommunication networks and call centers. An approximation method for a simple Markovian retrial queue by reducing the two dimensional problem to one dimensional problem was presented by Fredericks and Reisner in 1979. The method seems to be a promising approach to approximate the retrial queues with complex structure, but the method has not been attracted a lot of attention for about thirty years. In this paper, we exposit the method in detail and show the usefulness of the method by presenting the recent results for approximating the retrial queues with complex structure such as multiserver retrial queues with phase type distribution of retrial time, impatient customers with general persistent function and/or multiclass customers, etc.
