Photographers create depth impression in the process of flattening objects in a three-dimensional space. To understand the effects of photographic techniques determining the effectiveness of depth cues in a picture-taking scene, two experiments were performed mainly focused on the effects of manipulating contrast ratio and lighting angle on the depth impression of a photograph. Photographs taken under the lighting diminishing brightness in distance renders a salient depth impression and such impression increases as the horizontal lighting angle approaches to 45˚.

공유형 수장고의 규모추정에 관한 검토

In this study, we proposed the construction of a local museum shared storage according to the increase in public and private museums and the demand for additional museum storage space. We conducted a basic study on volume estimate of general museum shared storage based on 4 main museum and 21 branch museum storage data in Seoul. In order to estimate the volume of the museum shared storage, we took account of the museum storage capacity and property, cover area, rate of increase of museum storage relics. Based on the basic analysis, the occupied area of ​​the complete material and the fragment material calculated, are applied to the materials of Seoul City Museum. The volume estimate was calculated by applying the short-term data amount up to 10 years after the opening and the correction value is added for the museum storage efficiency. Subsequent studies will require work to complement the accuracy of the volume estimation by applying a wider range of cases and time periods.

민간 어린이집 영아반 교사의 보람과 어려움

본 연구는 민간 어린이집 영아반 교사가 인식하는 보람과 어려움을 심층적으로 알아봄으로써, 민간 어린이집 영아반 교사들의 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 기초 자료가 되고 궁극적으로 보육을 질을 높이는데 도움이 되는 기초 자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 목적에 따라 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다. 1. 민간 어린이집 영아반 교사들이 인식하는 보람은 무엇인가? 2. 민간 어린이집 영아반 교사들이 인식하는 어려움은 무엇인가? 본 연구는 민간어린이집 4곳을 선정하여 10명의 교사를 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 분석된 결과는 다음과 같다. 민간 어린이집 영아반 교사들은 영아와의 관계, 학부모와의 관계, 원장과의 관계, 동료교사와의 관계, 교사직에 대한 개인적인 기쁨을 느끼고 있었다. 민간 어린이집 영아반 교사들이 인식하는 어려움으로는 영아의 발달적 특성, 보육 상황에서 어려움, 학부모와의 관계에서 오는 어려움, 원장과의 관계, 서류 등과 같은 보육 외 업무, 열악한 처우로 인한 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 영아반 교사로서의 삶과 경험은 보육의 질에 영향을 미치기 때문에 민간 어린이집 영아 보육의 질적 수준을 높이기 위해서는 먼저 정부의 정책적 지원이 뒷받침되어야 하며, 교사와 원장의 노력이 필요하다.

Improvement Plan of Nurse Staffing Standards in Korea

Purpose: This study compares the expected nurse-to-patient ratio, penalties for violating these regulations, and the laws enacted in the medical and nursing fields in Korea and advanced countries like Germany, Australia, the United States, and Japan. Methods: This study deployed an integrative review method and used search terms such as “nursing law,” “nurse ratio,” “nurse,” “nurse staffing,” “health,” and “staffing” to find articles published in English, Korean, German, or Japanese through Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature Plus with Full Text, the Westlaw (International Materials-Jurisdiction) site, US government and state sites (federal parliament, National Conference of State Legislatures), and Google Scholar. Results: Compared with medical laws in other advanced countries, Korean laws are quite crude and its nurse-to-patient ratio does not reflect patients' status. Korea also lacks strict penalties for nurse staffing ratio violations. Conclusion: Korea requires a strong regulatory apparatus for nurse staffing in health-care organizations to improve the quality of its health-care services and patient safety.

ASAP 진단 기반의 활동 중심 삽입교수 지원이 통합유치원 유아특수교사의 교사 효능감과 자폐 범주성 장애 유아의 사회 의사소통 시작하기 및 놀이 참여에 미치는 영향

This study investigated the effectiveness of supporting for ABEI(activity-based embedded intervention) with ASAP on ECSE(early childhood special education) teachers’ self-efficacy, children with ASD’s social communication initiation and play engagement. For this purpose, 18 ECSE teachers working at public inclusive kindergartens in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, and Jeollabuk-do and 9 children with ASD participated. Support for ABEI with ASAP provided small group workshops and individual on-site supports to support all process of ABEI with ASAP consists of ASAP assessment, instruction goal setting, planning ABEI, using ABEI, monitoring progress for 10 sessions. The pretest-posttest control group design was used to find out whether there is a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group regarding the teacher’s self-efficacy. Also single group pretest-posttest design was used to examine if supporting for ABEI with ASAP changed the degree of social communication initiation and play engagement of children with ASD in experiment group. there was a significant difference in the pre-post changes of ECSE teachers’ self-efficacy between the experimental group and the control group. social communication initiation and play engagement of children with ASD in experimental group was improved when compared to pre-test improved significantly. Discussions of the results and implications for future research are discussed. 본 연구는 ASAP 진단 기반의 활동 중심 삽입교수 지원이 통합유치원 유아특수교사의 교사 효능감, 자폐 범주성 장애 유아의 사회 의사소통 시작하기 및 놀이 참여에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 서울, 경기, 인천, 전북 지역의 공립 통합유치원에서 근무하는 유아특수교사 18명, 자폐 범주성 장애 유아 9명이 참여하였다. ASAP 진단 기반의 활동 중심 삽입교수 지원은 ASAP 진단, 교수목표 설정, 활동 중심 삽입교수 계획-실행-평가로 구성된 유아특수교사의 실행 과정을 지원하기 위해 총 10회기 동안 소집단 워크숍과 개별 현장지원을 제공하는 것이다. 유아특수교사의 교사 효능감의 변화에 대한 효과를 알아보기 위해 사전-사후 통제집단 설계를, 자폐 범주성 장애 유아의 사회 의사소통 시작하기, 놀이 참여의 변화에 대한 효과를 알아보기 위해 단일집단 사전-사후 설계를 사용하였다. 연구 결과 유아특수교사의 교사 효능감은 두 집단 간 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 자폐 범주성 장애 유아의 사회 의사소통 시작하기 및 놀이 참여는 중재 전후에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 연구의 의의 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

CAG반복의 확장을 보인 가족력이 없는 Huntington씨병 1례

저자들은 진행성 무도증, 인지기능장애, 성격변화 및 정신증상을 주소로 이화여대부속 동대문병원 정신과에 입원한 48세 여자환자에서 가족력없이 임상적 특징과 신경학적 증상 그리고 분자유전학검사에 의해 HD를 확인하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고한다. 환자는 사지와 입주위의 불수의 운동과 보행장애 및 구음장애 있었으며, 감정적 불안정, 충동적인 성격변화, 피해의식 및 우울 등 정신증상 그리고 지남력 손상과 단기 및 장기 기억장애, 주의-집중력 장애 보였고, 뇌자기공명영상에서 전반적인 피질의 위축과 뇌실 확장 소견 보였다. PCR과 PAGE에 의한 분자유전학 검사상 HD locus에 CAG 반복의 확장이 확인되었고 항도파민 약물을 사용하여 정신증상의 호전을 보였으나 운동장에는 뚜렷한 호전이 없었다. We report a 48-year-old female with typical symptoms of Huntington's disease, including involuntary movement, cognitive dysfunction and psychiatric symptoms such as personality change, emotional instability, persecutory ideation and depression, but without family history. The diagnosis of HD was confirmed a repetitive DNA sequence(CAG) amplification on HD locus by PCR and PAGE in this case. The DNA analysis showed that she had an allele with 43 repeat units, in the size range seen in HD chromosomes. So we reported this case with literature review.

임상간호교육자의 교육요구도 우선순위 분석: Borich 요구도와 locus for focus model 활용

Purpose: This study used a descriptive investigative design to compare the educational needs and priorities of education-dedicated nurses and preceptors regarding clinical nurse educator competency. Methods: A survey was conducted from March to April 2023 with 308 participants, including 140 education-dedicated nurses and 168 preceptors. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a paired t-test with the IBM SPSS 26.0 program. For the purpose of analyzing educational needs, we further analyzed data through the Borich needs assessment and the locus for focus model. Results: Among the clinical nurse educator competency, both education-dedicated nurses and preceptors identified “new theory and practice” as the highest priority educational need. Additionally, education-dedicated nurses prioritized “teaching design ability,” “teaching evaluation ability,” and “evidence-based nursing/practice and research,” while preceptors prioritized “clinical nursing knowledge” and “professional development ability” as their educational needs. Conclusion: While both education-dedicated nurses and preceptors responded that education is necessary for all the competency areas required of clinical nurse educators, variations were observed in their reported educational needs and priorities. Thus, it is imperative to develop and implement a differentiated education program for enhancing the competency of clinical nurse educators that considers the distinct requirements of education-dedicated nurses and preceptors.

한국인에서 Neuregulin 3(NRG3) 유전자와 조현병의 연합 연구

Objectives : Located on chromosome 10q22-q23, the human neuregulin 3 (NRG3) is suggested as a strong positional and functional candidate gene involved in the pathogenesis of schizophrenia. Several case-control studies examining the association between polymorphisms on NRG3 gene with schizophrenia and/or its traits (such as delusion) have been reported recently in cohorts of Han Chinese, Ashkenazi Jews, Australians, white Americans of Western European ancestry and Koreans. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the association of one SNP in exon 9 (rs2295933) of NRG3 gene with the risk of schizophrenia in a Korean population. Methods : Using TaqMan assay, rs2295933 in the exon 9 of NRG3 was genotyped in 435 patients with schizophrenia as cases and 393 unrelated healthy individuals as controls. Differences in frequency distributions were analyzed using logistic regression models following various modes of genetic inheritance and controlling for age and sex as covariates. Results : Subsequent analysis revealed that the frequency distribution of rs2295933 of NRG3 was not different between schizophrenia patients and healthy controls of Korean ethnicity. Conclusions : This study does not support the role of NRG3 in schizophrenia in a Korean population.
