        간호대학생의 회복탄력성과 임상실습 수행능력 및 임상실습 관련 자기효능감과의 관계

        본 연구는 간호대학생의 회복탄력성을 파악하고 임상실습 수행능력과 임상실습관련 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 효과적인 임상실습 교육방안을 마련하기 위해 시도되었다. 본 연구는 6개월 이상 임상실습을 경험한 간호대학생 433명을 대상으로 회복탄력성과 임상실습 수행능력 및 임상실습 관련 자기효능감과의 관계를 확인하기 위한 조사 연구이다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 대상자의 회복탄력성은 평균 3.58(±.39)점으로 나타났으며, 임상실습 수행능력은 평균 3.65(±.50)점, 임상실습관련 자기효능감은 평균 3.83(±.56)점으로 나타났다. 대상자의 회복탄력성과 임상실습 수행능력 및 임상실습관련 자기효능감 모두에 영향을 끼친 네 가지 요인은 연령과 대학생활 만족도, 간호학 전공만족도 및 임상실습 만족도로 나타났다. 회복탄력성과 임상실습 만족도가 임상실습 수행능력과 임상실습 관련 자기효능감에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과에 기초하여 간호대학생의 회복탄력성 증진 프로그램이 개발되어 임상실습 수행능력과 자기효능감을 향상시킬 수 있는 기반이 마련되어야 할 것으로 사료된다. This research was to identify the effect that resilience has on clinical performance ability and self-efficacy of clinical practice in order to prepare effective educational materials for clinical practice. The research was targeted to 433 nursing department university students who had more than 6 months of clinical practice experience, to indicate the effect that resilience has on clinical performance ability and self-efficacy of clinical practice The results showed that age, satisfaction of university life, satisfaction of nursing major and satisfaction of clinical practice had significant effects on resilience, clinical performance ability and self-efficacy of clinical practice. Also the analysis of the correlation between the resilience, clinical performance ability and Self-efficacy of Clinical Practice of nursing university students indicated positive results. Step wise multiple regression was used to grasp the effect that resilience gives to clinical performance ability and Self-efficacy of Clinical Practice, having significant results. Through this research, programs for improvement of resilience must be developed for the foundation of increase in clinical performance ability and Self-efficacy of Clinical Practice

        병원간호사의 도덕성 발달수준 평가

        This study was conducted to evaluate the level of moral development of clinical nurses in Korea. Data were collected through self-reported questionnaires received from 187 clinical nurses in Korea from March 1 to 15, April 2006. The Korean version of the DIT (Rest`s Defining Issues Test) was adopted to evaluate levels of moral development, which was measured by the score of P(%) and stage 4. The data were analyzed by a t-test, ANOVA. The results were as follows: 1) The mean score of P(%) and stage 4 was 39.66 (SD=13.34) and 16.20 (SD=8.12) respectively; 2) The score of P(%) revealed significant differences by marital status, nursing ethics education, and employment rank; 3) The score of stage 4 revealed significant differences by age, education level, birthplace, employment rank, and amount of clinical experience. In conclusion, while nursing ethics education should be helpful for enhancing nurses` moral development, this study suggests that it is necessary to develop the content of nursing ethics education and to evaluate its effectiveness.

        간호대학 졸업반 학생의 도덕성 발달수준 평가

        A study was designed to evaluate the level of moral development of 197 nursing students from five nursing schools in Korea. Data was collected through a self-reported questionnaire completed between March and April 2006. The Korean version of the DIT (Rest`s Defining Issues Test) was used to evaluate the level of moral development as measured by the score of P and stage 4. The data was analyzed by a t-test, ANOVA. The results were as follows: 1) the mean score of P and stage 4 was 41.79 and 16.31 respectively; 2) the score of P did not reveal statistically significant differences with respect to demographic variables; 3) The score of stage 4 revealed significant differences related to the level of education of each participant`s mother. These results indicate that moral development is not influenced by demographic variables. We recommend that a database of DIT scores for students in nursing and other medical fields be created. Such a database would be helpful for the further development of nursing ethics curricula.

      • 영아의 정서적 안정을 위한 육아행위 실천에 관한 조사 연구

        This study was made to find the variables which have influence on the mothering behavior to satisfy the emotional needs of infants. 291 mothers who have infant, aged from 6 to 12 month old, and visited pediatrician at 6 university hospitals and 2 private clinics, were selected for this study by means of non-probability sampling. Relationships between the mothering behavior and variables, which was thought to be influencing, such as the economic status, sex of infants, order of birth of infants, educational background on childrearing, attitude of mother on childrearing, degree of satisfaction of mother to the marriage life, and mothering behavior to satisfy the physical needs of infants were analyzed statistically by T-test, F-test, and Pearson's correlation coefficients. The results were as follows: 1) The economic status was significantly related to the mothering behaviors to satisfy, the emotional needs of infants, which was high in order of middle, low and high class (F=4.90, P<0.01). 2) There were no significant relationship between the sex of infants, and the mothering behavior to satisfy the emotional needs of infants (T=0.56, P<0.01). 3) The birth order was significantly related to the mothering behaviors to satisfy the emotional needs of infants, which was high in order of the second, first and third born or upward baby. (F=3.18, P<0.05) 4) There were no significant relationship between the educational background on childrearing and the mothering behavior to satisfy the emotional needs of infants (T=0.56, P<0.01). 5) There were no significant relationship between the attitude of mother on childrearing and the mothering behavior to satisfy the emotional needs of infants (F=1.17, P>0.05). 6) There were no significant relationship between the degree of satisfaction of mother to the marriage life and the mothering behavior to satisfy the emotional needs ef infants(F=0.33, P>0.05). 7) The mothering behavior to satisfy the physical needs of infants is moderately positively related to the mothering behavior to satisfy the emotional needs of infants(Pearson's r=+0.49).

        This study was made to share the fundamental approaches in nursing research and develop the nature of nursing. The important points of this study were as follows. 1. The conceptual framework guiding the development of nursing for more than a century has been one of limitations and boundaries. This framework has defined our boundaries. This framework has defined our professional identity, political existence and relationships in the world of work. 2. Our identity has suffered greatly because we have not carefully studied our histc ry and incorporated historical knowledge into theoretical and clinical teachings. Nurses should make excellent historians. The heart and core of nursing is understanding and feeling for others; these are the essence of the historian's work as well. 3. A model of scientific inquiry comprises six interrelated influencing variables, subdivided into four intrapersonal factors (world view, cognitive style, experience, methodological knowledge/skill) and two extrapersonal factors (influential others, sociohistoric context). There are four basic phases to the inquiry process that are problem formulation, method selection, method implementation, communication of findings, and each phase is influenced by the six variables. 4. Four fundamental patterns of knowing have been identified from an analysis of the conceptual and syntactical structure of nursing knowledge. The four patterns are distinguished according to logical type of meaning and designated as: (1) emprirics, the science of nursing; (2) esthetics, the art of nursing; (3) the component of a personal knowledge in nursing; and (4) ethics, the component of moral knowledge in nursing. 5. Research findings tend to be toward the higher end of the continuum of knowing and may be the middle of the understanding pole, while theorizing tends to be on the higher pole of understanding and may be the middle of the knowing pole. Approaches to know ledge development - including: theory development-should be analyzed against the properties of human science, the mission of a practice oriented discipline, and the balance among knowing, understanding, and caring.
