기존의 네일 미용업 위생교육의 내용이 딱딱한 이론적 설명으로 이루어져 좀 더 쉬운 교육으로 이해를 도모케 하고 흥미로움을 가져다주는 교육이 필요한 실정이다 현 시대는 웹툰을 활용한 학술도서들이 . 출판되어 대중들의 관심과 사랑을 받고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 네일 위생교육에 웹툰을 활용함으로써 사람들에게 흥미와 이해를 갖게 하고, 미용 분야에 웹툰 교육 활용의 기본적 토대를 마련하고 방향성을 모색하고자 하는 목적을 가진다. 기존의 위생교육의 위생교육방법과 교육시간 단축에 대한 개선이 필요하다는 선행연구에 대한 방향성 모색으로 위생교육 내용을 보다 현실감 있고, 알기 쉽게 학습되도록 제작 하였다. 포커스 그룹인터뷰 대상자는 15인의 네일 전문 미용업 종사자로서 3인의 연구자들과 3번의 만남으로 충분한 논의와 코딩 작업을 통해 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 기존 글의 딱딱하고 접근하기 어려운 위생법규의 내용이 웹툰을 통해 스토리텔링 방법과 그림으로 보다 쉽고 오래도록 기억에 남도록 메시지를 전달한다. 위생교육을 받는 대상자들에게 교육적 효용성이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 영업시간에 지장을 주지 않고 편한 시간에 접할 수 있어 경제적이며 장소에 구애받지 않아 편리하다는 긍정적인 평가를 내렸다. 셋째, 웹툰의 장점을 살려 네일 미용업의 위생교육 교재개발 및 온라인 강의를 통한 교육 자료로 제작 발전시켜 적용하는 작업이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. At present, hygiene education in nail care industry is primarily based on dry and boring theory. Therefore, there has been a necessity for an educational program with fun and easy-to-understand curriculum. Recently, webtoon-based academic books have drawn a great attention from the public. This study attempted to make people more interested and have a better understanding of hygiene education in nail care industry using webtoon and establish basic grounds and search for a direction for the utilization webtoon-based education in cosmetology. According to analysis on previous studies, it is concluded that there should be improvement in current hygiene education methods, and the length of the education should be shortened. In this study, therefore, the hygiene education curriculum was developed in a more realistic and easier-to-understand manner. A total of 15 focus group interview candidates from nail care industry were interviewed with 3 researchers three times. After sufficient discussion and coding, this study derived the following conclusions: First, current stiff and hard-to-understand hygiene-related laws become easier to understand and memorize, using webtoon-based storytelling and images. In addition, educational utility has been confirmed among those who have received hygiene education. Second, the hygiene education is convenient without space restrictions and economical because employees are able to get the education when they are free having no influence on their work. Third, this study has confirmed that it is needed to develop hygiene education materials and online lecture curriculum by taking advantage of the strength of webtoon.
