There have been many theories about the Afrasiab Paintings since modern times. In general, the painting is regarded as a reflection of a Samarkand painter’s worldview which is based on his imagination, and the contents of the painting is not necessarily true. Also, it is difficult to provide accurate information about the painting because it have been damaged so much, and it is difficult to present a theory nearly everyone agrees because there are so few historical records left by the Sodgians. However, in this paper, the interpretation of the painting will be suggested. First, what principles had been applied to construct the painting? The painting accepted and reflected the Four Emperor worldview. Second, different scholars present many theories about what the west-side of the painting described. Although the painting have seriously damaged, the contents of this west-side of the painting are a picture of Western Turk(西突厥) Illig Beg Shekuei Qaghan(乙毗射匱可汗) and Fuhuman(拂呼縵)-King of Samarkand being paid tribute together. Of course, the painting necessarily correspond to historical facts, but we can see from the painting that the Samarkand people were quite confident. Thirdly, there is a theory about the period and purpose of the Goguryeo(高句麗/高麗) ambassadors in the painting, but the envoy in the painting were sent to Samarkand and Xue-Yantuo(薛延陀) from Yeon Gaesomun(淵蓋蘇文) when Emperor Tai-zong(唐太宗) of Tang dynasty attacked Goguryeo. Based on the several contexts, in my opinion, that the giant man on the horse in the north-side painting is not the Emperor Gaozong(唐高宗), but the Emperor Taizong. Emperor Taizong promoted his warrior charisma by making songs like Qinwangpozenyue(秦王破陣樂), which was accepted by Indians at the time. Therefore, based on all these information, re-identifying the age of painting is necessary.
최근 항공기내 전자장비 간의 유선 하네스를 무선 네트워크로 대체하고자 하는 많은 연구가 항공 산업체를 중심으로 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 항공기내 무선 네트워크의 핵심 기반 기술을 검증하고 각 계층 기술을 효율적으로 통합 할 수 있는 이벤트 기반 시뮬레이터(ES-WAIC; Event-Based Simulator for Wireless Avionics Intra-Communications)를 개발하였다. ES-WAIC은 상위의 실시간 제어 응용 개발자와 네트워크 계층 개발자의 코드 가독성을 증대시키기 위하여 개발되었다. 특히, 실질적인 저전력 무선 임베디드 네트워크의 이벤트 기반 언어 방식을 구현하여 임베디드 시스템에 적용 할 수 있는 이식성과 호환성을 증가시켰다. ES-WAIC은 4.4GHz대역에서의 항공기내 무선통신 채널 모델링, PHY, MAC, Network, Application을 포함한 전반전인 계층이 구현되었다. Recently, many researches have been conducted on the aviation industry to replace the wire harness cable between the avionics of the aircraft with the wireless network. In this paper, we present an Event-Based Simulator for Wireless Avionics Intra-Communications (ES-WAIC) that can verify core technologies of wireless networks and efficiently integrate different layers of the network. ES-WAIC is developed to enhance the readability between the real time control application developers of the higher layer and the network layer developers. Specifically, the practical implement relies on an event-based programming concept to increase portability and compatibility that can be applied to the realistic low-power wireless embedded networks. ES-WAIC implements the overall system layers including the wireless channel modeling of the 4.4GHz band, the physical layer, the medium access control, the network, and the application layer of wireless avionics intra-communications.
Background: Iguratimod is a new type of disease modifying anti-rheumatic drug, which reduced the production of inflammatory cytokines. The purpose of this study was to evaluate pharmacokinetic characteristics and safety profiles of iguratimod after a single oral administration in healthy Korean volunteers. Methods: A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel group, single oral dose study was conducted in 24 healthy male volunteers. Three groups of eight subjects each received 25 mg, 50 mg, or 100 mg dosage, respectively. Two subjects in each dose group were administered matching placebo. Plasma concentrations of iguratimod were measured till 72 hours after drug administration. Tolerability was evaluated by monitoring adverse events, clinical laboratory tests, and 12-lead electrocardiograms. Results: The mean area under the concentration-time curve from 0 to 72 hours (AUClast) were 11.9, 25.2, and 51.8 mg × h/L and the maximum plasma concentration (Cmax) were 1.15, 2.33, and 4.78 mg/L in 25, 50 and 100 mg dose groups, respectively. All doses of iguratimod were well tolerated without serious adverse events or clinically meaningful changes. Conclusion: Cmax and AUClast values of iguratimod proportionally increased with incremental dose. Iguratimod was generally safe and well tolerated.
Carotid artery angioplasty and stenting (CAS) has become increasingly accepted as an alternative therapy to carotid endarterectomy for treatment of carotid artery stenosis. Central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO) is one of the diseases presented due to carotid artery stenosis. But CRAO without cerebral ischemia after CAS is uncommon. An 80-year-old man was admitted to the hospital with the right centrum ovale ischemic stroke and right proximal carotid artery stenosis. We performed CAS with a distal protection device after pre-ballooning 3 times, without post-ballooning. Then, 12 hours after the CAS, the patient complained of blindness in the right eye and was diagnosed with CRAO. However, Diffusion weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DW-MRI)showed no significant findings in the brain. CRAO after CAS without intracranial infarction is a rare complication.
