Characteristics of underwater concrete with non-segregation agent and superplastizer were measured. From the result it was found that the proper amount of added superplastizer and non-segregation for 300k/㎠ of compressive strength and 80% of compressive strength ratio were 0.8wt% of cement weight respectively. Compressive strength showed inversely when the amount of them increased.
Thermoelectric Properties of Double-filled Pr1−zNdzFe4−xCoxSb12 Skutterudites

Pr1−zNdzFe4−xCoxSb12 (z = 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and x = 0, 0.5, 1.0) skutterudites were synthesized by encapsulated melting and annealing, and were consolidated by hot pressing. The effects of Pr/Nd double filling and Co substitution for Fe (charge compensation) on the electronic transport and the thermoelectric properties were examined. The main phase of all specimens was the skutterudite phase, but a small amount of the FeSb2 phase was also found. An increase in the Co content suppressed the formation of the FeSb2 phase, but the (Pr,Nd)Sb2 phase was also produced in the Pr1−zNdzFe3CoSb12 specimens. Pr and Nd were confirmed to have successfully double-filled the voids and Co was confirmed to have substituted for Fe because the lattice constant decreased with increases in the Nd and the Co contents. The electrical conductivity slightly decreased as the temperature was increased, showing a degenerate semiconductor behavior. The Hall coefficient and the Seebeck coefficient showed positive signs, indicating that the major carriers were holes (p-type conduction). Although the electronic transport properties rarely changed with the Pr and the Nd filling fractions, the Seebeck coefficient increased slightly because the effective carrier mass increased as the Pr content was increased. Moreover, the Seebeck coefficient increased due to a decrease in the carrier concentration as the Co content was increased while the electrical conductivity and the thermal conductivity decreased. The maximum power factor, PF = 3.1 mWm−1K−2, and the maximum dimensionless figure of merit, ZT = 0.83, were obtained at 823 K for Pr0.75Nd0.25Fe4Sb12.

Effect of Sunbangpaedoktang, which has been used for atopic dermatitis(AD), on the cytokine secretory function of monocyte, which was isolated and cultured from peripheral blood of AD patients, were evaluated. The results were as follows: 1. In AD patients, Sunbangpaedoktang exhibits statistically significant inhibitory effect on IL-4. 2. In AD patients, Sunbangpaedoktang exhibits statistically significant inhibitory effect on IL-5(p<0.05). 3. In AD patients, Sunbangpaedoktang exhibits statistically significant inhibitory effect on $IFN-{\gamma}$(p<0.01). 4. In sample group, comparing the cytokine concentration change rate of AD patients with that of NAD patients IL-4 AD patients exhibits statistically significant decrease(p<0.05).

The performance of new jig for single cantilever beam test method was verified by finite element analysis. Two types of jig were designed for a small specimen that had relatively short length compared to the width of cantilever; one was simple fixed jig and the other was specially designed rotatable jig. The rotatable jig has a rotatable seesaw which adjusts the experimental misalignments between the specimen and test machine. Among the three translational and three rotational misalignments, following three important factors were considered; rotation about x-axis, rotation about z-axis, and translation in y-axis. Adhesive layer was modeled by cohesive zone element, and crack propagation behavior and the deviation of energy release rate were investigated. The fixed jig showed undesired asymmetric crack propagation and large deviation of energy release rate when it had rotational misalignment about x-axis. However, the proposed new rotatable jig showed almost symmetrical crack propagation and small deviation of energy release rate regardless of misalignments. Rotational motion of the seesaw automatically compensated the rotational misalignment of the specimen. The rotatable jig also showed relatively small deviation of energy release rate compared with the fixed jig by the rotational misalignment about the z-axis. In contrast, the rotatable jig showed deviation of energy release rate by translational misalignments in the y-axis. However, the magnitude of the deviation was very small within the controllable range of experimental misalignment. In conclusion, it was found out that the proposed jig was appropriate for the measurement of adhesion of a small specimen by single cantilever beam method.
