        여학생이 선호하는 과학 수업 형태 및 수업 환경 조사를 통한 과학수업 전략 수립

        The purpose of this study was to develop girl friendly science teaching strategies by investigating students' preferences of teaching styles and learning environments. The participants were 1,119 middle school students and 1,000 high school students, and they had taken written questionnaires with observation and interviews. Girl students liked the teaching style in which teachers clarified their learning contents. In particular, girl students wanted to be understood completely or explained about important contents repeatedly. And middle school students preferred to characteristic science classes and high school students preferred to structured classes. Girl students favorite learning environments were permissive and encouraging ones. They were not so interested in science as boys and felt more anxious than boys in creative problem solving contexts. Therefore, when teachers develop or carry out classes for girls, it is need to clarify learning contents, to make favorable learning environments and to encourage girls to be self-confident. Moreover, it is recommended to use both divergent questions and convergent questions suitably.

        The Nature & Science Museums has mostly been developed by developed countries with its colossal scale, variety, and the various themes and content of exhibition since 20th century. Until now, however, the studies have chiefly focused on the analysis of the characteristic and organization of the Exhibition composition. In addition, the studies on application of obvious conception, classification and scope in the typical classification of Nature & Science Museums are relatively rare. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to compare and analyze Exhibition composition in accordance with a type of Nature & Science Museums and to consider the purpose, conception, and medium of Exhibition and the characteristic of space condition, and then is to create the course about the establishment of a type of Nature & Science Museums planned in the future.

        생물 존재 필요성에 대한 중학생의 개념조사

        Feeding relationship among living things is one of the important themes of ecosystems. Since the 2nd grade of elementary school, students have learned these subjects gradually. But students usually fail to connect the scientific knowledge with the daily experience, so they may have different concepts from scientific concepts. The purpose of this study is to investigate students' conception on the existence of :wing things. The subjects of this study are 44 boys, 39 girls in the 3rd grade of middle school living in the rural area and 90 boys, 40 girls in the same grade living in the urban area. The data used in this study are obtained by questionnaires and interviews. Generally, students have human-centered thought and present the needs of living things' existence relying on it. Few students have the conception of interdependence and living things concerned with feeding relationship. And, the researcher can't find the difference between the rural and the urban areas or boys and girls, except for some organisms.

        생물 존재 필요성에 대한 중학생의 개념생태 특징

        본 연구에서는 학생들의 개념에 영향을 미치는 개념에 영향을 미치는 개념 생태 요소들을 알아보고, 각 요소들 및 학생들의 개념간에 어떤 관계가 있는지를 정성적으로 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 중학교 3학년 학생 6명을 대상으로 설문지 결과 및 면담과 토론 수업 결과들을 분석하여 각 학생들의 개념 생태 특징을 기술하였다. 학생들이 보유하고 있는 생물 존재 필요성에 대한 개념은 인지적, 정의적으로 다양한 개념 생태 요소들과 밀접한 연관을 맺고 있음을 볼 수 있었으며 그 유형도 다양하게 나타났다. 특히 그러한 개념에 영향을 미치는 주요 요소로는 형이상학적 신념, 다른 영역의 개념 이해 등을 들 수 있으며, 다른 요소들도 이와 상호관련성을 가지고 있었다. 이처럼 학생들의 선개념은 관련된 개념 생태 요소들과 밀접히 연관되어 있으며 개념 및 학습자의 유형에 따라 개념 생태들이 달라지므로, 개념 변화 학습시 학습자의 특성 및 개념 생태 요소들의 영향을 고려해야 할 것이다. Using the concepts on the need of existence of living things, we investigate students' concepts on interdependence concepts between living things. The purposes of this study are to identify components of conceptual ecologies influencing on students' concepts and to describe the relations between those components and their concepts. The subjects of this study are 4 boys, 2 girls in the 3rd grade of middle school. The sources of data used in this study include a questionnaire, interviews and observation of the discussion class. Then, all data collected through each methods are compared and summarized in the relation to the questions of research. As a conclusion, it reveals that students' concepts are connected with several cognitive or affective components. Especially, the major components influencing on students' concepts are their metaphysical beliefs, conceptions includes other fields. These components function as constraints. Given these results, a teacher who want to teach a new concept to students should consider their characteristics and the components of conceptual ecology.

        색안경이 아동의 주의집중력에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        안경의 렌즈색상에 따른 초등학교 저학년 아동의 주의집중력 변화를 전산화인지기능검사(CNT)와 뇌파측 정을 통하여 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구방법 : 대전광역시 W동에 거주하는 초등학교 1-4학년 30명을 대상으로 렌즈색상에 따른 주의집중력의 변화 를 알아보기 위해 전산화인지기능 평가도구를 시행하면서 뇌파를 측정하였다. 자료는 색안경을 착용 하지 않은 경우와 빨간색, 노란색, 파란색, 검은색 색안경을 착용한 전산화인지기능 평가도구의 주의집중수행도(CPT)와 뇌파의 변화를 수집하여 분석하였다. 결과 : 성별에 따른 주의집중력 및 뇌파를 분석한 결과 남학생이 여학생에 비하여 과잉반응수와 스트레스 영역에 서 높게 나타났다. 렌즈색상에 따른 주의집중력 컴퓨터 과제는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 없었지만, 이때 뇌 파 활성도를 비교해본 결과 상대알파와 주의집중력 뇌파에서 안경 미착용에 비해 각 색상이 있는 경우에서 활 성도가 높았으며, 특히 파란색과 검은색에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 색안경 착용 전후를 비교하였을 때 각 4 가지 렌즈 색에 대한 상대알파, 주의집중력에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 결론 : 안경의 색상에 따라 상대알파와 상대베타, 학습, 주의집중력이 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 따 라서 작업치료사가 임상에서 주의집중력 결핍아동을 비롯한 인지손상의 주의집중력 훈련을 실시할 때 작업수 행이 이루어지는 공간의 색상 환경을 고려하는데 기초자료가 될 것이다. The purpose of this study is to investigate changes of attention in elementary school students based on the color of their eyeglass lenses. Methods : This study was conducted using a Computerized Neurocognitive-function Test(CNT) and measured Electroencephalogram (EEG) to investigate changes of attention based on the eyeglass lens color of the subjects. A total of 30 1st to 4th grade elementary school students living in W-dong, Daejeon Metropolitan City were tested. The CPT was measured a total of five times, when glasses with no tint were worn, and when red, yellow, blue, and black tinted glasses were worn. Results : Based on the EEGs taken during the CPT, which compared cases when glasses with and without tinted lenses were worn, and the lens color when tinted glasses were used, each of 4 areas, relative alpha, beta relative, learning, and attention, showed levels of p< .05 , with statistically significant differences. Conclusion : Black and blue tinted lens glasses are expected to have a positive influence on attention.

        LARGE SDSS QUASAR GROUPS AND THEIR STATISTICAL SIGNIFICANCE

        We use a volume-limited sample of quasars in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) DR7quasar catalog to identify quasar groups and address their statistical significance. This quasar samplehas a uniform selection function on the sky and nearly a maximum possible contiguous volume that canbe drawn from the DR7 catalog. Quasar groups are identified by using the Friend-of-Friend algorithmwith a set of fixed comoving linking lengths. We find that the richness distribution of the richest 100quasar groups or the size distribution of the largest 100 groups are statistically equivalent with those ofrandomly-distributed points with the same number density and sky coverage when groups are identifiedwith the linking length of 70 h−1Mpc. It is shown that the large-scale structures like the huge LargeQuasar Group (U1.27) reported by Clowes et al. (2013) can be found with high probability even if quasarshave no physical clustering, and does not challenge the initially homogeneous cosmological models. Ourresults are statistically more reliable than those of Nadathur (2013), where the test was made only for thelargest quasar group. It is shown that the linking length should be smaller than 50 h−1Mpc in order forthe quasar groups identified in the DR7 catalog not to be dominated by associations of quasars groupedby chance. We present 20 richest quasar groups identified with the linking length of 70 h−1Mpc for furtheranalyses.
