미국 락킹 그룹 ‘더 락커스’가 스트릿 댄스에 미친 영향

The Lockers, a locking group having been active in 1970s, had a great influence on a genre called “Street Dance”. The group had established the distinguishing characteristics of street dance and contributed the popularization of the genre. These achievements provide the ground for feasibility of historical study on the development of the group and street dance. In this respect, this study provides the concepts of street dance and locking, the history of The Lockers and its major performances, which had not been previously covered on literature and Internet materials. The history had been complemented with interviews with its members, including its founder Don “Campbellock” Campbell, original dancers and their succeeding members. On the basis of these, the study explains the influence on street dance. This study has importance in a sense that it attempts a theoretical approach on locking genre which has not been dealt with in earlier studies.

암 환자를 돌보는 간호사의 영적 안녕, 영적 돌봄 역량이 영적 간호 수행에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 암 환자를 돌보는 간호사 214명의 영적 간호 수행에 미치는 영향 요인을 파악하기 위해 온라인 연구 플랫폼을 통해 자료를 수집한 횡단적 조사연구이다. 42.6%가 영적 간호를 수행하지 못했을 때 미안함과 안타까움을, 46.4%가 영적 간호 수행의 방해요인으로 업무 환경의 어려움을 지적했다. 영적 간호 수행의 영향 요인은 의사소통의 영적 돌봄 역량(β=0.36, p<.001), 영적 간호 수행 만족도(β=0.21, p=.001), 종교 중요도(β=0.18, p=.013), 실존적 안녕(β=0.18, p=.010), 영적 간호 지식 습득(β=0.14, p=.033)이었으며, 총 설명력은 41.1%이었다. 이들 요인에 초점을 둔 영적 간호 수행 증진 통합프로그램의 개발을 제언한다. Background: This is a cross-sectional survey to explore the effect of spiritual well-being and spiritual care competence on performing of spiritual nursing by nurses caring for cancer patients. Methods: The participants were 214 nurses with experience of caring for cancer patients for more than one year. The data were collected by an online survey using the spiritual well-being scale, spiritual care competence scale, and spiritual nursing scale. Results: The factors influencing the performing of spiritual nursing were communication (β=0.36, p<.001), satisfaction from spiritual nursing (β=0.21, p=.001), importance of religion (β=0.18, p=.013), existential well-being (β=0.18, p=.010), and knowledge acquisition of spiritual nursing (β=0.14, p=.033). The explanatory power of these variables on performing of spiritual nursing was 41.1%. When spiritual nursing was not carried out, 42.6% of nurses felt sorry and pitiful towards the patient; and 46.4% pointed out the difficulties in working environment that posed an obstacle. Conclusions: We should develop an integrated program on spiritual nursing improvement, focusing on these key factors, to enhance the performance of spiritual nursing for cancer patients and to verify its effectiveness.

본 연구에서는 맞춤형 건강기능식품에 대한 국내외 사례를 소개하고자 한다. 맞춤형 건강기능식품이란 개인이나 특정한 그룹의 건강상태 및 요구도 등을 맞춤형 영양서비스를 통하여 파악하고, 개인 등의 건강상태에 따라 맞추어서 개발되거나 조합된 건강기능식품을 말한다. 맞춤형 영양서비스에는 개인의 건강상태 및 요구도를 파악하는 확인(assessment) 단계, 개인 건강상태를 조절하는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 제품을 추천(product)하는 단계, 적절한 생활 습관 코칭 및 식이지침을 종합적으로 제안하는 서비스(service)단계로 구분할 수 있을 것이다. 현재 국내에서 제공하고 개인의 건강상태 및 요구도를 파악하는 확인(assessment) 방법으로는 기존의 영양 상태를 확인하는 설문조사 방법 및 모발검사 방법 이외에 최근에는 피부 진단기기를 이용한 영양상태 분석, 유전자 분석을 통한 건강예측, 대사체 및 장내미생물 분석 등이 있으며, 이러한 서비스를 제공하는 기업이 많아지고 있다. 제 외국에서는 이러한 서비스를 기반으로 개인의 건강상태에 따라 이에 적합한 비타민 및 기타 보충제를 조합하여 개인에게 맞춘 제품을 판매하는 서비스가 확대되고 있다. 컴퓨터 모델링이 적용된 기계학습 알고리즘을 활용하여 필요한 영양소나 기능성 소재를 제안하지만, 그 효능에 대한 검증은 수행되기 어려운 실정이다. 영양상태에 영향을 줄 수 있는 다양한 요인들과 식품 소재의 체내 메커니즘을 고려하여 특정 건강기능식품 소재에 대한 반응군-비반응군을 정의하고, 그 특성의 차이에 따라 최적의 건강 유지 또는 증진을 이룰 수 있는 맞춤형 전략을 세우기 위한 연구가 필요하다. 정밀영양의 발전을 위해 건강전문가와 정책입안자 및 개인정보 보호와 보안과 관련된 모든 이해관계자의 협력이 요구되며 산업체에서는 일반 대중의 접근이 가능한 실질적인 대안이 필요하다. 또한 공중보건의 관점에서 환경적 및 사회적 분위기 구축과 함께 윤리적, 법률적, 정책적인 면을 정합하여 결론을 도출해야 할 것이다.
