      • 마이크로스트립 위상 배열 안테나에 관한 연구

        This paper shows the characteristic of microstrip phased array antenna which consists of rectangular microstrip patches of different width. Rotman lens which is a passive phase shifter is described theoretically and a new method to design a non-uniform liner array antenna using rectangular microstrip patches is proposed. Transmission line model is used to analyze and design a rectangular microstrip patches is proposed. Transmission line model is used to analyze and design a rectangular microstrip patch. A microstrip liner array antenna which consists of 6 elements of rectangular microstrip patch with different width is implemented. And the return losses, the input impedances and the radiation patterns are measured. By the results, we demonstrate that the new method can be applied to design a non-uniform liner array antenna using rectangular microstrip patches.

      • 마이크로스트립 저역통과 필터 설계 및 성능분석

        In this paper, commensurate and stepped impedance lowpass filters have been designed on micorstrip substrate which relative pemittiviter is 2.25, thickness is 15875[㎜], and loss tan δ = 0.0032 On designing of microstrip line, in the case of commensurate filter, filters have been designed by parallel stub which has been simply implemented, and Richard's transformation and Kuroda's indentities have been used. Filters have been designed using of center frequency 2㎓, and theoretical value through ABCD matrix have been compared with simulation result using supercompact. In the result, in the case of stepped impedance lowpass filter, there are difference of 0.2㏈ in the passband, but in the case of other microstrip filters, theoretical value nearly equaled to simulation result.

      • Small 안테나 배열에 관한 연구

        This paper shows that the small antenna array can be replaced the microstrip patch antenna (MPA) array when the space is not enough for MPA array. Varying the distance between element much shorter than half wavelength, the side lobes are located outside the visible region. So the main beam shape and width can be controlled. By comparing the radiation patterns of 2 elements microstrip patch antenna array with 8 elements of small antenna array, I could find that both antennas have similar radiation pattern. So small antenna array can be replaced the MPA.

        A meander-type microstrip small antenna fed by T-shaped microstrip transmission line has been studied in this paper. A meander type microstrip antenna is one of the methods for miniaturising personal communication system. By using the meander-type microstrip, the antenna size (11 by 13 ㎟), can be reduced 20% smaller than the conventional microstrip patch antenna.

      • 벤트 슬롯트를 이용한 평면 안테나의 소형화에 관한 연구

        A small compact circularly polarised microstrip antenna has been studied in this paper. A corner truncated square patch is used for the circular polarization. And four bent slots are embedded on the finite size of patch and ground plane for reducing the antenna size. It is designed on the microstrip substrate of 1.6mm thickness, εr=4.4. Simulation results show that the center frequency of designed antenna is lower than the center frequency of a antenna with slotted ground or slotted patch only. With this antenna, the center frequency is decreased from 900MHz to 810MHz. Which means that the size of antenna can be reduced.

      • 다중의 벤트 슬롯트를 이용한 원형편파 안테나의 소형화에 관한 연구

        A small compact circularly polarised microstrip antenna has been studied in this paper. A corner truncated square patch is used for the circular polarization. And four double bent slots are embedded on the finite size of patch for reducing the antenna size. It is designed on the microstrip substrate of 1.6 mm thickness, εr=4.4. Simulation results show that the center frequency of designed antenna is lower than the center frequency of a antenna with single slotted patch. With this antenna, the center frequency is decreased from 780 MHz to 700 MHz. As a result, the size of antenna can be reduced.

      • 광대역 평면 안테나의 소형화에 관한 연구

        In this paper, the perfomance of a log periodic toothed microstrip patch antenna with different parameters is studied. Different parameters are the outer radius R, geometric ratio τ, width of antenna σ and the angle α, β. For simulating the return loss of antennas, simulation tool (HFSS) is used. The planar patch antenna is embedded on teflon fiber microstrip substrate and simulated. The relative permittivity and thickness of substrate are εr= 2.2, h=1.58 ㎜. As the simulated results, the widest frequency band is obtained at the conditions at τ=0.65, σ=0.80, β=45°.

        For the purpose of preliminary study about the beam forming characteristic of planar array antenna, the radiation pattern of planar array antenna is studied theoretically. The array antenna has 12 radiating elements of isotropic point sources and has various types of distribution. Thus this paper can be used as the basic paper to design the planar array antenna which has the specified radiation pattern.

      • 슬롯트 패턴에 따른 마이크로스트립 평판 안테나의 특성 연구

        Circularly polarized single feed compact microstrip patch antenna (MPA) has been studied in this paper. And different shaped slot patterns are embedded on the finite size of patch for reducing the antenna size. For the cases of the square slot, the rectangular slot and rotated rectangular slot, the return loss and axial ratio are simulated and compared in this paper. These are designed on the microstrip substrate of 1.6mm thickness, εr=4.4. Simulation results show that the square slot is the most suitable slot for a circularly polarized single feed compact antenna among the square, the rectangular and rotated rectangular slot.

      • 배열 안테나의 근거리 방사패턴에 관한 연구

        In this paper, I have studied the near-field radiation pattern analysis method of array antenna for applying to the hyperthermia treatment of the tumor cells. Because the tumor cells are located close to the antenna system, a near-field radiation pattern analysis method of the array antenna is needed. In this paper, 11 isotropic antennas are arranged linearly at equal distance of half wavelengths, and the radiation pattern are calculated and compared by the conventional far field analysis method and by the near field analysis method. As a result, if the location of the tumor cell is located within 10 times of the length of the array antenna, it should be applied the near-field analysis method.
